Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Thanks a lot bro! Is the F2 durable? Also: Is it bad, do you waste herb or something happens when stopping earlier the session in case you are stealth vaping?

I'm really digging the F2 and I might go with a eNano for home vaping.

I don't know why people here treat the enano as if it's the only log out there. I have an enano as well as an underdog and woodscent and they each have their strengths. If you are thinking of a log and a vapcap you can't do better than a woodscent which gives you both.

In terms of the fury 2 I think it works well equally as a session vape and as a whatever the other is. I use the water stem as my standard one without using water. It's easy to turn if off in the middle when I feel done and I haven't noticed any waste. I leave the stem in and just start it up again when I want to continue. The battery lasts quite a while once charged. And it's mild. It's the only vape I use that I don't need a whip or bubbler attachment to avoid coughing.

I fell asleep with my phone on my hands last night... again! Oh well :sherlock:

@ataxian ... He breaks glass you know.......
:rofl:I didn't know but so good to know! I take you guys plenty seriously by the way! Seriously!

It's what I do!
 And btw the fury is tempting before you buy and a temptress after you get it. You will cheat on all your other portables with it! Get it! Get it! Get it! Extra bonus: it seems practically indestructible!

I haven't had to clean my F2 since they arrived, which I think is now four weeks, right?

Very interesting! I was planing to use the native mouthpiece mainly with the capsules as well.

If you don't have an account, you can't view that 1 page?

Thanks so much for posting this link! Neither the phone nor the pc would work but I found a colleague today and watched the video on his instagram  I had seen this method on a video before but it seemed to me that when the mouthpiece is actually dirty just a q-tip in iso wouldn't be enough (what is it with videos always showing the vaporisers clean btw?? Cleaning a clean vape? Oh please! Show it like it is!).

Is the q-tip really enough in real life and real use conditions?

fuck IG, makes me seasick, windows and shit moving about.

Okay, when the dosing caps are back in stock, I am thinking of getting F2 with glass m.p. and the glass bubbler. Do you think I should get 2 pkg. of caps? Anything else? Should I go for the screens too? Thanks, for the reply.

I like the waterp. adapter native better then the glass stem... my wpa fits snug in the heating bowl.... my glas stem wiggles in the heating bowl and does not fit as tight as the wpa... BTW is this normal... also I like the wpa native more because it feels more naturall... using the glas stem feels for me a bit akward...

When I got the bent stem, it was very loose. So loose, it could fit in oven without heating it up.
I reached out to @HealthyRips.com and they immediately sent me a replacement. This one fits snugly and doesn’t move around at all.

Correct, bkta you should contact HR and get a replacement. My bent stem fits absolutely perfect. I can't get it in when the unit is cold and it slides in with just the right amount of resistance when its hot.
On another note, I fucked up last night and fell asleep for 9 hours while my unit was charging. I wonder how much that screwed up my battery health :bang:

Not enough to worry about. I wouldn't make a habit out of it of course, but the impact is small and 'cumulative'. That is it doesn't kill it XX sooner, it simply shifts the slow degradation to come. That is it 'just wears out a bit faster', probably too little to notice?

Hopefully we'll be using H2 enough to run the battery into the dirt. 3 to 600 cycles? At one a day, that's a year or two of daily use. Over a thousand loads? And then, if there's nothing better (which seems unlikely I think) then it's time to consider HR's half price replacement?

The idea is to enjoy it, not fret over it? If you continue to enjoy it several times a day for a year or two replacement will be an obvious move.

For all we know we may all be putting F2s on standby so Fury can take charge????

Weekend regards to all. Super weather here, must go supervise the garden a bit.

Like Shredder said, it looks like an original Fury. Something to note is that Weecke and Sutra no longer carry the Fury I clones. Makes me think that the ones produced were orignial Fury's in and out. At 50 EUR ($58) its worth a buy, assuming that is Weecke's Official Amazon store, otherwise you would be out the warranty. Also to note is that the Fury III, Fierce, is about to come out, so that's something to consider.

Don't worry, the internal PCB automatically shuts off charging when full ;)

Don't know if I'm doing the right thing, but I've been using my F2 near daily since Dec. and multiple times a day for the last five or six weeks. I almost always leave the usb plugged in overnight. I've seen no noticeable decline in the fast heat-up times nor in how many sessions and mini-sessions I get. This vape is just so damn solid.

Yesterday I had my longest day hiking the mountain alpine zone(almost 30 degrees cooler than down below!) with my F2. On the trail at 8, though didn't take a toke until before lunch. Didn't get out until nearly 9 and took a couple of pokes on the way home. Went through four dosing caps and started on the fifth. Only three bars down on charge indicator. This is easily the best hiking vape I've yet found--and I've owned at least six other excursion vapes.

Only problem I've had is seeing the display in bright sun. Still, holding it in the shade of my humongous body and counting clicks, I'm able to ramp up in ten degree increments and get back to within one degree of my starting temp at the end. I'd much rather have the quick start up times than a more visible display. As well, in my experience, none of the small portables are without even more serious flaws.

Only one guy can say what the right thing is for you, and that's of course you? If the goal is longest possible battery lifespan (until it 'dies' and needs replacement) that's not a very good idea for the reasons explained in the BU articles I cited earlier on the topic. Simple storage (idle, like you're doing most of the time?) at 100% charge will kill Li based cells with zero use at all. Faster at higher temperatures. This is why vapes and loose cells never come fully charged......and if they do, smell a rat.

It won't kill them outright to keep them fully charged, obviously, but it will 'wear them out faster'. How much faster? The articles suggest twice, three or even four times what other techniques (that avoid full and no charge). Heating won't slow, on average, but the average 'run time' per charge (loads) will decline at end of life, usually quickly when the end comes.

Then again, this is not a new Tesla here. If you'd rather use like you are (than say to risk forgetting to check the charge level) it's not the end of the world. It just means earlier replacement (half cost of a new unit?). I'm sure we all know of a laptop or cell phone that 'no longer holds a charge'? Dollars to doughnuts it was on the charger 'full time, so it's always ready to go'. Now you know why?

Your unit, your call. The important thing is to enjoy it not fuss over it?

Regards to all.

This is the major difference I noted between the Fury copies and the Fury 2, if you look at the User Guide for the Sutra Mini on their website it says that charging the battery for longer than 2 hours will ruin it.

No PCB on the copies is what I take from that and it was my main reason for buying the real Fury 2. There's no way I'm going to remember stuff while I'm getting high!

I've read stuff at Battery University. I'm sort of obsessive about battery management because I spend lots of time in remote places with too many battery-operated devices which I can't recharge and any but the smallest battery pack is too heavy to carry along. The problem, as I understand it, with full charging is when the device won't be used for a while, like several weeks, months or years. My F2 rarely sits for 24 hours without being used. I try to leave batteries partially discharged when I'm not expecting to use them for a while.

I've also become a bit skeptical about BU because they seem to be describing unregulated batteries. Most devices now include some sort of circuits and/or software to better manage charging and discharging. Just my two cents.

I'm very confident you're incorrect in that assessment. There's another discussion of charging, it's by no means 'open loop' or unregulated. Rather, quite tightly controlled.

The standard routine is used in a dozen or so specially designed ICs for this use like MCP73831, LP2951 and similar devices. Very accurate voltage sensing, typically +/- .050 Volts (4.15 to 4.25 Volts). A single charge above something like 4.5 Volts is fatal, often festive. There are no 'unregulated' chargers for Li based 'batteries'. Not that work without potential/certain destruction.

The long term danger concerns include this issue, again simply charging to the top and putting it away destroys them over time. Li-Po is only good for a couple of years anyway, best not to cut that shorter than needed?
http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries
http://www.instructables.com/id/Li-ion-battery-charging/

Precision regulators are very cheap (under a dollar even in singles), they are basically 'used everywhere' to implement the recommended 'four step' charging routine.

It's worth noting that this issue (recharging) is driven by maximum capacity for bigger bragging rights by sales types (go figure). When it comes to the Military, the threshold is dropped to 3.95 Volts many times. Giving up 20% or so 'battery life per charge' in exchange for not having to replace the battery packs in the field. Vape, cell phone and other commercial makers would much rather get a bigger number to advertise and welcome you back to buy replacements all the sooner.........

Your call, but that's my advice and why.
