The other way to navigate to that product on RX's website is through "Extraction Tools", where it's the only listing under "Glass on Glass Extract Tubes". Seems like it's for BHO, but I'm sure it could be used to vape if you threw in a screen and got creative, I know I've had success with practically anything that can diffuse a flame.

So this requires no filters? just the two small holes allow butane (solvent) in and the slow drip out? Seems like you would get some plant matter thru this... :uhoh:

The iTorch produce really good hits for a portable. It uses no butane and is run on 3 batteries. Its charge lasts for hours. Weedandbombs (Linda) posted a video review of it on Youtube and I have to say im impressed.

Why in the world would you name a vapourizer "iTorch"? Isn't a torch the last thing you want to evoke? Never mind the trendy "i" prefix, which is almost enough to make me dismiss it without going any further.

While I think Linda is sort of cute, I find her reviews to be rather shallow and not that helpful. At one point she says it takes four hours to charge, then later she says it charges really fast. Say whut? Also, she says the batteries last "a really long time". What does that mean? She says nothing about the vapour path or the materials or the warranty. Geez Linda, how much dos the bowl hold? How fast is it cashed out? Even the example hits aren't impressive. <JesseVentura>You impress easy VaporBoxed.</JesseVentura>

It's not really much of a stealth device. Yes it disguises as a flashlight, but once you swap in the bowl it's not stealthy at all. Since the bowl and stem are attached at right angles, it looks odd indeed, not even having the "resembles a phone" look of the Iolite. Overall, not a device that appeals to me.

Edited to fix capitalization... and typos

Im pretty sure they call flashlights torches a lot of places

Yes they do. That doesn't justify the name choice IMHO.

Gotta say it: Pakalolo, you broke it down pretty thoroughly on this post! I hate to admit it, but you are even right about Linda's reviews even though I am truly a big fan of hers!! I loved what you said about the mouth piece too bro, pretty funny! Got me a good laugh this morning! :) :peace:

My second vape, and I'm quite happy with it. Here are the pros and cons;

PROS
-Affordable for newbie vapists (like myself)
-Very easy to learn and get used to
-Fast heat up
-Digital readout temperature
-Small and easy to store
-Beeps when the selected temperature is reached
-Aesthetically pleasing, with multiple 'skins' to choose from

CONS
-The filter in the wand is impossible to change, due to the glass being formed around it
-The 'temperature' reading is somewhat false (see the note at the bottom)
-A loud, obnoxious beep whenever any button is pressed, including power on/off
-Company pre-kinks the silicon tubing, and never really returns to how it should be
-Not very sturdy, but it won't break from every day use
-The angle at which you have to plug in the whip sometimes makes hash fall out if you haven't packed it tightly enough

Note: A large selling point for this vape is the digital temperature readout, which actually DOES work, just not as intended. The temperature readout increases by 10 degree intervals until your selected temp is reached, but here's the catch: the temp readout is by far not accurate. In fact, it is a timer. But, and this is a big but, the SELECTED temperature (the red readout) certainly is accurate, it just takes far longer to reach the temperature selected than what the blue readout tells you. I have tested this with a probe thermometer; while the blue display reaches 310 in about two minutes, it takes about ten to actually get to 310. But when it hits the selected temp, it will plateau, with a 5 degree deviation (on average).

All in all, it's a very good vape FOR BEGINNERS. It's under $100 (mine was $86.50, including shipping and tax), so it allows people to try out vaping and get their feet wet.

welcome, I owned 2 of those and they do work but the temp readout is not accurate at all. level on the same temp for 30 minutes and doesn't regulate the temp. they don't heat up fast. I paid less than $50 for both of mine. At close to a hundred bucks its just too much IMO. An arizer Solo for 60$ more gets you a better vape.

I spent over $600 on a variety of crappy vapes before I discovered this site. Since then I have been far happier. Word of advise to vape novices. dont buy a cheap vape as a first vape. It will negatively taint your experience compared to something thats effective and easy to use like a EQ 4.0 or Solo.

I also found with the EZ-Vape was that after a month of use the heater wouldn't get nearly as hot as it used too. Previously it was easier to combust.

So I agree the unit does work but its just too error prone and inconsistent. at $50 thats tolerable but not at a much higher price point. Just my $0.02

What kind of heater? Steel, nichrome or ceramic.
Are the internals lead-free?
What is the tubing made of?
Is the tubing food/medical grade?
What kind of warranty is offered? Lifetime or limited?
Where are these being manufactured?

These factors are very important, whether your a beginner or seasoned.
There are a lot of safer alternatives around this price range, by safer i just dont mean the materials its constructed of..I mean having a warranty that will cover your investment if something happens.

Besides that nice review, your points are neat and forward.

no info on any of that stuff. Its a super el cheapo chinese vape.

EDIT: I will say this appears to be a newer model but I still wouldn't recommend it. you can get a Vapolution 2.0 for the same money and get all glass airpath from a company thats been in business for a while.

There is no manufacture website. some sites seem to indicate 5 year warranty. I dont remember seeing any warranty info on the units I got.

EZV was my first vape.

The heater tube just fell out one day. No mishandling, just walked up to it and it had completely fallen apart.

Says a lot about the manufacturing quality and probably the material quality of the adhesives used. With so many high quality vaporizers under $150, I definitely am not a fan.
