Is there a Sativa comparable to purple urkel

I’m new to this and figured a new thread would be easier for asking this question since he topic is different. I been trying purple urkle lately and loved it so much I got a half ounce of it today. It’s not too sedating though I hear in high doses it is, but I liked how the head high quickly calmed into more of a calming head high and nice full body high. I have not had much success with the few sativas I have tried. Are there any sativas or hybrids out there that may be identical or exact to purple urkles effects without the sedation? It works so well that I wish I could use it during the day without making me too tired. I still am not really fond of them strong energizing Sativa type highs. I found that they have so far been all energizing intense surface high like kind of highs with no body effects or very little. I’m responding better to thc then high cbd strains with the exception of harlequin, but even that doesn’t not compare to the relief and body high I have been getting from purple Urkle.

Electric Lemon G is another good one with powerful lineage (G13 x NL #5), I dont find it too racy, it's fairly calming for a sativa but uplifting. Large nugs too. I also like Jillybean a lot, similar effects to Electric Lemon G.

Jack Herer is a good medical cultivar, but I'd sample it first to make sure it's not too racy. Lots of genetics branch off from this strain so sometimes you can find better medicine in the crosses.

Along those lines, some other more popular strains you may be able to find -

Island Sweet Skunk - Mellow but uplifting

These aren't sativas, mostly 50/50 hybrids I think, but I've always enjoyed them

Skunk #1, LSD, Mazar, Skunk XXX, if you like these there are boatloads of crosses.

White Widow genetics from greenhouse seeds is a very good one.

You could also seek out purple urkle crosses as hybrids.

I got a dispensary close by that has jack 22. There are a ton of strains crossed with skunk though. We don’t have a huge selection of strains yet I don’t think I have come across a purple urkel cross yet. My goto dispensary is big on sour banana sherbet blueberry kush, and jack 22. Surprisingly the biggest sellout is acdc. There’s a wait list just to get it and the list is more then they can keep up with but it does not quit get me relief. The only think I see most beneficial with it is it can counter a too intense high or is okay on some days.

To be honest, the odds that your "Purple Urkle" is the same clone, or even stabilized strain, as the "Purple Urkle" that anyone on here has tried, are very slim. Cannabis naming is a joke these days. It's all marketing. The fact that you can find two buds with the same name, that are from plants with different parents (not even siblings), shows that there is often no point going by names, when you are discussing bud from different growers.

that’s interesting because the thc content is 13.93% but I here it can be as high as 17-19%. Tell you what though the strain has been the strongest body buzz I had so far, and feel it all over.

The purple urkle around here has fluffy buds (indica is supposed to be dense right? They sold plenty of dense nugs of other cultivars), yellow to orange hairs, tastes earthy and is definitely a night time med. 15-17% THC was what I was seeing.

I do agree with @EverythingsHazy but there is some truth in proven genetics with stable phenotypes and easy to just clone the best mother and harvest those meds for years or lifetimes.

I've been getting the same phenotypes for years on a whole lot of different variaties mostly local genetics mixed with thseeds, subcool seeds, and some in house crosses based off those genetics. Some caregiver are working hard to provide consistant harvests.

Mine has a lot of purple in it and more like a sweet berry piney taste with a sweet berry kind of aroma. Nugs are dense too.

Mazar is a very heavy weed. I grew it maybe 10 years ago indoors. It had a high THC content at the time, I can’t recall now but either 19% or 23% THC. But man did it ever give you couch lock which is weird. I do like Dutch passion seeds. But mazar was not a strain that you could go out and play soccer or something.

I wonder if they've changed that mazar genetic since then? Mine had mostly cloudy trichomes (no ambers) with a bit of clears. The oil it made was actually fairly racy! I agree though, very potent, this is a heavy one but a little can go a long ways too!

I heard mazar i sharif is supposed to be amazing but could be a little on he psychedelic side. I think that’s the name of strain.

Don’t forget you can literally mix your own. Grinding a high CBD strain up with a sativa should help bring the overall mental effects down a bit, and mixing some sativa in with your Purple Urkle may get you closer to what you’re asking for. It’s worth a try anyway!

A sativa comparable to an indica dominant? :hmm:

I think he’s looking for something with similar effects minus sedation. Not easy to find, but there are probably some sativa leaning hybrids that would get close on medicinal effects while making him less tired. I don’t know if he’ll ever find exactly what he’s asking for though.

My advice was just to mix in some sativa himself.

Another thing that might help is using more (and edibles) at night. For me, getting a high enough dose at night usually lets me get through the next day without using anything, but that may or may not work with any specific person/condition.

Exactly what I’m looking for more of a body effect and not the head.

Could also find a Sativa that has the effects you're looking for, mookie, and then put on some cbd wax or whatever too. I've read that CBD helps counter the effects of high thc content, so it might milden it up a bit. Almost just like what VaporWare suggested above :)

I never tried a wax yet we don’t even Have it yet I don’t think. I have tried mixing high cbd with thc and it don’t work so well. Counters the high but also takes away all the other effects. I’m getting more used to it but still don’t really like being to high. Blueberry kush is even border line. It’s a little intense at first but does turn into a nice sleep few hours later. I’m finding that just laying in bed in complete darkness and silence if I get to high is the easiest and best for me. I waisted a lot of money on a few sativas that I will never use again including sour og. Keeps me out of bed and energized. Maybe that will pass in time and I’ll be fine st some point but for the time being staying in bed seems to counter a bad high just as good as high cbd. When I can’t sit still and start feeling like I have to constantly be up and moving it’s easier for me to lose control. So maybe I have to over come that some how still but for the time being with the indicas im trying right now laying down in bed helps a lot almost instantly makes me feel back in control and no longer high. How ever if I get out of bed and keep trying to eat or watch tv eventually the tripping starts. I can watch tv and move around find, but when I had to much it’s a different story I trip out and objects look like they move. Turn everything off and I calm right down. Feel like I’m good again 15 minutes later out tv back in and the tripping out starts again.

@Mookie0608 I think you canfind some and have it shipped, should be. I got some from highland pharms recently, works pretty well. May be a good way to help counter the effects of being too high, if you vape it on its own. Too high is super uncomfortable .

Pens are the easiest way as far as staying under the radar. I don’t know how I would be able to get something shipped to me. I can get a friend to buy cartridges in cali easily and send them to me but flower is a different story.
