I get it too, it's caused by good resinous weed.
Actually it's resin that builds up on the cooling unit. Then it touches the hot cap and the oil spreads. I keep some alcohol prep pads to clean my cooling unit every 5-6 loads.

I've already sent a pm, ordered the 5ml tubes OF recommended on eBay (taking the time to capitalize the B in eBay on my phone), and added a toothpick holder to my Amazon cart. I'm only too willing to value my free time this little and that's why it's funny to me.

Haven't dropped in this thread much but i really like the Fury 2. It has been my go to stealth battery portable over the GH. I certainly prefer the Fury 2. The dosing capsules should help here further.
It isn't a device i use at home much but it certainly has that versatility. Cheers all.

I too think it was meant as humor, but can also see it as a claim to some sort of entitlement? For sure I agree with Vito WRT why we're here.
I prefer to call it two guys with white hats and a bit of confusion on this here internet. But then again, since Al Gore claims to have invented it, the real problem could be there?

Now time to test the capsules, put them in an iso soak just in case (I'm a bit OCD with my vapes cleaning) and they're drying now. They look really solid and like they gonna last. Ordered the plastic tubes to give them a try too.
Really happy that I pulled the trigger with this vape!

Yes, it's been covered several times. I found it through 'search' (upper right) but don't recall off hand exactly what search term I used.
Yes, the bottom plate does come off. It's been said a few times here 'it's easier to do the second time', which I agree with. Inside is the big glass tube with Silicone gaskets top and bottom.
The manual says not to do this. Rather remove the screen and blue gasket and go after the insides with q tip and ISO. After taking mine to bits I found it's easier to run it through the dishwasher assembled (except for the screen and gasket.

I finally got to try a little distillate oil on a small bit of organic cotton shoved in one of them little dosing caps. I set it on 420.
Let me tell you somethin'.... that works well.
I tried to disassemble my mouthpiece the way described earlier but could not get it apart that way. In the end I thought if I cannot get it apart to clean properly, I may as well smash it trying. I stuck my fat thumb in it and pulled as hard as I could while yelling, GET OUT YOU FUCKING C@#^T. That did the trick.

I think the 2nd part is a little misleading, I angled it so that the tool is inserted in the hole but more further in the side that it entered (left side for left hole, vice versa and not across as how was shown in picture) so it has more leverage, then push down so that it should pop up slightly. Repeat on the right side. The black piece should come out easy now and then you just pull everything out.

Naw, I prop it up in the silverware rack so the big end is up where the wash water falls down from the top tray. And run it with the normal daily dishes and pans. It takes time (you can stop the wash, pull it out and rinse it out in the sink). Like on the dishes themselves. I'll pull it out after the wash (as it drains the wash and fills the rinse) if I'm around and anxious to use it. A rinse in the sink, shake/wipe out the water that's easy to get and let the heat of the next session finish the drying. The wash cycle is like 15-20 minutes, I can usually amuse myself that long doing other useful things.......
I do other stuff this way. Some stems and MPs (like the QQ from Divine Tribe) go right over a 'peg' on the lower rack. Solo stems and little bubblers (which I'm fond of) get a small plastic funnel coupled with a short piece of tube to catch more wash water to flush through.
And it's detergent, not soap. And hot. Much more effective than soap or dish detergent like Dawn (it can be much more aggressive since you don't stick your hands in it? Dishwasher detergent is made to fight just the sort of hydrocarbon junk we foul our gear with. PBW is an example of an extreme of this idea. And it includes buffers and chelation agents to combat the hardest of waters and random 'junk' that otherwise might escape attention. And 'clean rinse' agents to prevent 'soap scum' inside things. Good stuff.
Not sure what to say about the kids. Time was you could occasionally get a sucker to lick a fence post in the dead of winter, or pee on the electric fence, one time. Had to be done in person over time. Al Gore changed that with the internet. Now stupidity can spread at the speed of light.

Kids died from swallowing live goldfish back in the 1920s, when that was a fad...I find it comforting to know that human nature really hasn't changed all that much.
Are these full teardowns and cleaning necessary? I've just been using iso on a q-tip to clean the upper chamber...but I'm clumsy as hell, and terrified of breaking something.
