Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I’m finding I prefer using the Flowerpot SH with water pipes that have more draw resistance or a little “glug” to them. I can get fast and full extraction in only about 1-3 hits per bowl at 680F, which is about 100 degrees cooler than I was running it with my Mobius sidecar/stereo knockoffs.

I find it more difficult to regulate draw strength and don’t get as consistent results with those more free flowing pieces. They stack bubbles like crazy, but I find there’s just too much airflow. With those pieces I have to run the temps much higher in order to get full extraction, but need to use a much slower draw speed which is a little harder to do reliably and sometimes pushes extraction temps higher than I’m going for, especially when I’m pretty elevated.

Just want to say that NewVape responded to my issue that was completely my fault and took care of it on a Sunday. Great customer service.

I agree! My wife broke the hemp wrapped handle on the bowl one day... I emailed NewVape just to ask when they’d have more in stock, but instead they went above and beyond and shipped me out 2 replacements a few days later at no charge, I sure was impressed with the quick and courteous CS!

Id rather have NV continue to improve the FP, your current set up works you dont have to jump on a product because its new. Imagine if we were all still on the OGFP and didnt get the SH 2 or 3 years later?

Dont blame your V.A.S on NV :p.

I'm not blaming anything on them. We buy it, they sell more so they do more R&D. Do you think if it wasn't selling they would keep coming out with new stuff?

Good on them. They've been good to me and I'm not complaining. Just said it would be nice. FC sells a lot of stuff for them.

@newvape918 ... just wondering if there is a discount available for us FC members that have been pondering getting a NewVape FlowerPot product but haven't yet taken the plunge?

Thanks!
JCat

I believe the code “twaxvapor” still works for 10% off. If not, there are a couple of others for the same discount.

Edit: @Ville23 just beat me to it, but yeah, that code’s been here for us for quite a while, and it’s probably the best you’ll get outside of holiday sales or special offers like the one @newvape918 just made to the most recent buyers.

Breaking in my drop down with degummed hemp fiber inside... working pretty well so far.

Thank you to whomever posted that on this thread... its been great.

It has greatly reduced the amount of build up reaching the main piece. I did notice a little bit of flavor change (reduction) at first until the fibers became coated.

I'll post a pic and review once I vape this wad of gooey fibers I'm building up.

Thanks again...

For you VROD purchasers looking for a 20 mm coil that has its coil wrap going clockwise and works with the standard xlr 5-pin set up then one option is EZBake. There coil looks to wrap around the correct way compared to a DC coil or Hex Nail 20 mm coilwhicj is counter clockwise . Also I checked Dnail and they are wrapped counter clockwise also. Just sharing some research and findings. Pulled trigger on EZbake and canceled new vape 20mm coil where I need to re-wire and install xlr plug.

It's cool how forgiving this unit is! I was in contact with NV about the VROD when I realized I never unthreaded the handle all the way (it was a bit kinked and didn't want to force it) so the insert just sat on the handle threads and never sealed and yet I still feel like it gave good clouds and of course always took me to the moon! Pretty cool that you can make some new user errors and still have a good time with this

I had a similar thing happen last October when I first got my FP. My mixup was the coil cover was on upside down but it still worked like a champ!

I'm going to do another test, but just to throw it out there, I believe the upside down coil cover, while it works, is not proper! Seems I am getting denser vapor with it setup correctly. I can't believe I let you all down with this hype and the damn thing was put together incorrectly. I was never good at reading instructions

My coil sits at an angle but do believe it’s seated properly. Please let me know though

Most coils come straight , they either bent it themselves or it happened during shipping. Nothing to worry about and if you like it bent you can keep it that way. if not just slightly and slowly bend it straight by hand .
