Discontinued Haze Square

I think you are misunderstanding the wording here. It doesn't say to release the button and draw, it says that if you continue to hold it for a prolonged period, it might be too hot. Not the same thing.

Do you have a vid of you using it without button being held producing any vapor? What does your ABV look like?

im not misunderstanding anything ….in the FAQ"S it says the following "Green means that the chamber is to your desired temperature but if you would like hotter, more visible vapor, you can continue to press and hold the button while it is green but please note that the duration of pressing is continuously applying heat to the chamber and therefore may cause combustion if held for to long.

If you are at your desired temperature when green; then logically you would let go of the button and quit applying heat. MY abv is dark brown and no sometimes depending on temp I don't get a huge cloud - but as stated from HAZE before they are more about extraction than visible vapor.

This forum is for helping users get a better experience , not being combative and right all the time lets get back to that.

Nothing happens to me as in no affect at all never mind the vapor coming out.
The abv will be brown as the coil is heating up it will heat the pod also.

I shall give it another try and see If it does anything.

Anyone been able to clear where you put the mouth piece? I've tried the brush included and some of my own but it just won't clear up! Tried bit of ISO too

So please, stop confusing users. It's how the unit operates, period.

And who are you talking to????

This question was raised earlier in this thread, and I posted what Haze said just a few posts back. I have also tried using the Square without holding the button, and I get nada.

If, in point of fact, it is supposed to "vape without the button depressed", then I should send mine back to Haze because it is severely malfunctioning.

On the other hand, using the "heat and hold" technique (which I honestly believe is the only way it works), I am loving this thing! Smooth cool tasty hits. Battery gets me thru a day without a recharge. Easy clean for a 4 bowl unit.

You didn't answer my question. Before you try to shut people down on the board, you might want to grow a pair and be willing to name them. :goon:

As for the operation of the Square, my assumption and brief experience with it is that its like the MV1, you press and hold until it says go with lights and hepatic feedback and continue to draw while still holding.

BUT, the text in the FAQ, as pointed out by @Djsleepy, is at best ambiguous and at worst wrong and misleading.

I'm done with this topic.

tear a little bit off the end of a qtip and it goes right thru and cleans it perfect!

I've been on the "hold the button" group since I've had it from February, but he's honestly not wrong. And the thing is, the chances of the heater coming back on while holding seem to be low. Thats just observing from the little vent.

For the sake of evidence, I'll be testing the way in the FAQ today.

I've heard a few people on the thread say to use a window cleaner like the blue stuff glass cleaner.

The iso alcohol is not good for the O-rings

I would not clean a vaporizer with window cleaner. That’s just me. O rings can be removed prior to soaking. Or you buy the cleaner from Haze or Zeus that’s safe on silicone. I use Zeus cleaner for my silicone lids on the Dual. If you gotta clean your pod lids which eventually you will, should buy the proper cleaner and do the mouth piece too if you are concerned about iso ruining the o rings.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but silicone should be cleaned with soap and water, and stainless steel is okay for an iso soak. That's what's worked for me so far

They make cleaner that is safe for the silicone lids. I use to wash my lids for my Dual 3 with dawn dish soap. and would get a real bad soapy taste for 1-2 bowls. Even if I did a burn off

Just ordered one, first time poster here. I went with the standard one, what is the charge time for it? Everywhere I see online only lists the pro's 30 minute charge time...

Im debating this one. Will you do a 3 day follow up after you get yours?

What benefits would there be to micro dosing? why not just fill the pods up?
I microdose. I have a low tolerance. So to keep from getting too high I use small amounts in my vape, that way if I draw too long o don' run the risk of over doing it.

I see what you mean, I have a low tolerance also but just take 2-3 hits and set it aside.
Then can come back to it later and finish the pod off :)

I know the firmware update discussion was a while back but I was out of town, so hopefully it's ok if I ask about it her!

I'm trying to update my square pro, but it doesn't flash blue. Instead, it flashes blue once then red twice, then blue one and red six times, and repeats.

Any ideas?

No tracking on my returned unit.. I did get tracking on my accessories that they forgot. And now that I’m sending my haze back for a second time they sent me a label this time. So we shall see.

I’m in phase 2. I am going to be brutally honest about what I think about it. Not in a negative way but to help better the product. I may take a few weeks to learn. But I own a haze Dual and I know what they make and what they capable of. I don’t think this vape will be as temperamental as a elevape ESV that I never got into and that seems to have disappeared.

Did anyone get tracking info after Haze repaired and shipped your unit back to you guys?
I didn’t get one from Haze, but if you are in the US, you can spend a few minutes on the USPS site and sign up for “informed shipping”. It will show you if any packages are headed to your address. I was able to watch the agonizingly slow journey forth and back to me with it. (Seriously slow for within US - 6 days to get there and 5 days to get back.)

I think you guys are over complicating this a bit. The design of the Square is brilliant.

You hold down the button until it buzzes, and at that point it’s reached your set temperature. If you continue to hold down the button, it will continue to apply heat but at a lower rate. If you’re in a silent room you can hear it cycling very rapidly as it tries to maintain temperature. The longer you hold the button, the more heat will be applied. If you double press the button you give it a little boost of even more heat.

This design gives you full control over how much heat you apply. With a little experience and practice you can achieve pretty much whatever you want.

Want low temperature draws? Set a low temperature, and release the button as soon as it buzzes.

Want a little bit more heat? Just hold the button down a little longer.

Want to finish off that bowl with a lot of heat? Double press the button hold it down.

You can get whatever you want out of this thing.

Exactly my thoughts! Coming from a Milaana I even appreciate the extra "freedom" to play with Temps.

Really excited about this vape was long ago since last time I was this excited about a new vape!

I’ll probably be vaping at 180C and hold the button down the entire draw. But then again. I don’t have one to comment what I like. Lol
