I just came back from my usual dispensary. I mentioned that I mainly use the tubo or milaana. They never heard of either.

There are over 100 dispensaries in Portland alone and most of them sell at least one vaporizer. I mainly go to a couple near me but I doubt most of the bud tenders have heard of these. Given that they are well versed in cannabis I don't understand why more of them are not aware of these and the other vapes many of us use. I doubt he would have recognized the fury even though that's a more commercial vape.

Well there are like 100-200 TUBOs out there (This is just a guess). So there are like 200 people knowing and half of them are from the EU probably ,even if they were 20000 it still would be a drop in the sea. How could you expect it to be popular in 300 billion Country ?

Agree with @Squiby combined with being a tourist spot since we live in states with legal cannabis, most people who visit are generally grabbing a $4.20 glass pipe with some buds and a lighter, or some pre-rolls or edibles.

I've talked to my caregiver about offering vaporizers, they have some mods+tanks, but they seem most interested in selling distillate tanks with pens (pretty damn good choice for a vaper!) Trying to get them to carry vapcaps or crafty's seems unlikely. Maybe I'm not talking to the right peeps.

Hell, these peeps at the dispensaries are just now starting to hear about rosin. We been talking about it on FC for over 3 years.

The clear reason is that most people prefer the taste of smoke.

Vaporizers are the connnoisseurs of cannabis users. Most average people have no interest in being connoisseurs.

Look at all the beer drinkers that drink shitty, fizzy-yellow piss-water beers like Bud Light and have no interest in learning about actual decent-tasting beers.

LOL i now do recognize that i have a connoisseur problem. I really have to go in depth instead of just blindly consuming whatever product. The connoisseur is in me i can feel it. I just have to be careful because i consume more time around it which can become time consuming.

Around me, in our MMJ dispensaries, they sell the predictable Pax and Airizer products (along with 'trate pens).

They don't know shit about vaporizers and quite frankly they don't know as much as most of us about cannabis in general and how its grown and processed. They are interested, I believe that they would like to be more knowledgeable, they just aren't.

And THESE are the folks that new MMJ patients look to for advise on cannabis products and means of delivery.

When it goes full Fed rec legal and you see the big home appliance/electronics manf get into the game, then we will see more visibility for vaping, IMO.

Oregon has a surplus of cannabis right now so I can see that. Lots of good quality $5 grams. I read that you can buy from a farmer $100 lbs which is what they used to cost when I was a kid. Really bad for the small farms

Still that dispensary sells the firefly and pax and most around here sell those 2 plus one of the arizers. But lots of equipment for oil.

When it comes to vape tech ..... I think it can depend on whether recreational use is legal where you are.

From my limited exposure it looks like dispensaries in medical use only states bundle the product with the delivery system and flower vapes aren't in the mix because they don't sell flowers alone.

Here in Florida they sell flowers inside of a vape cup that drops into the dispensaries knockoff of the volcano...which is 700..I’m like shit...and I’m wondering if it would even work in volcano cuz the pods are packed full of popcorn buds...no airflow...but I just buy the cups and open them up and vape in my own vape so I’m technically vaping my herb which in Florida is the only inhalation method allowed so far. And like I said I’m still vaping it but all the other folks just open those cups and smoke it..that’s the loophole here in Florida. 35 to 55 bucks an 8th..but they want you to get their volcano..lol

Here in Las Vegas, where we just bcem legal, no one knows anything about vaping. Everything around here is combustion. The dispensaries are not well versed in vaping, and do not know much about the Pax. The best time to get anything around here is during the conventions, where you can actually find some knowledge.

Of course the profit margins these stores make are insane, especially the dispensaries off of the Strip.
