Biohacker....I use a clone can matrix....here is how I got around the fitment issue with these types of water units.

First off, you can just go this route for the easy fix....WIDE SIDE DROP TYPE
There are some drops that have a real wide gap at the top...but normally they are made with way too small thin glass tube sections. I broke a couple way too easy. So keep that in mind if you choose those.

I got one and use it on wider topped units. I would like to have it actually drop down....but it works to fit and moves it away from your face anyway.


I just add another 18 to 14 adapter and then the drop downs to give enough room to fit.

Then I did some minor glass cutting and used a much narrower 18mm downstem inside the main downstem. I always wanted to make the intake a much smaller condensed section that will give a bit more tighter draw/bubble. Now it hits so smooth and works better for my flowerpot and elev8r.



And it clears the main section by more than enough. Other dropdowns I have come closer but still fit.



And then my final tweak that made this piece work unbelievable (it always does though)......

A CARB HOLE This hole position is awesome. Makes cleaning easier too as it drains faster and such.





And I really like the real drop DOWN's that Thickassglass sells. But they do not have enough gap to fit the wider topped water units without a lift from an adapter....but the joint is super close to the main body.

Breaking the drop down was a blessing in disguise! Now I go direct and I swear there is an increased flow! Bit up close in the face but not so bad. Just need to clean the water tool more frequently. Liking it so far!

I would think most water units would get less draw resistance when you remove the drop down. It is the reason I like to use a drop down in the first place. I wanted some resistance on glass pieces that were too free flowing. By adding the drop down, I get slower action with just enough added draw resistance that is countered by not having to draw as long to get the same result.

So I shorten down my draw time per hit......and the cleaner main piece is the icing on the cake. I just love quickly cleaning out the bowl/screen and down stem in a couple mins. I only change water when it starts to smell bad. That can be from 1 to 5 days pending on what I put in it....lol

But if you still have strong lungs and want/like less draw resistance, adding a drop down may not be the best for your use.

So far, using the knock off matrix clones....single and stereo... are the ones I use drop downs all the time. Others I do not need them, (they are smaller units) and still like using them as the cleaning process is much better with the drop downs.

UK is going to legalise VERY VERY SOON now. Faster and more suddenly than anticipated. I was already thinking 3-5 years max and hoping for 2.

Now it looks like 2 max after the surprising Police propaganda TV programme last night. Fully pro legalizing, basically trying to sell it to us!! No shit, they are on it. But some very dubious regulations lie in wait. They kept insisting how "Skunk" should be class A.

So they are setting out differential guidelines between the harmless cannabis of yesteryear which they will provide safely, and get rich in the process, and the psychosis causing modern Skunk.
So please take your guesses at what they have in mind. Saving police and financial resources was a major theme in the show.

So now an all out war on Class A "Skunk" and the Black Market criminals? Seems that way. And what is "Skunk."?
Im sure it will be anything 20%+ THC.

So, good news and bad. Will be interesting. The truth is, they have accepted that they simply can't prevent it for very long now without starting to look like fools. Tipping point, it is more beneficial to legalize and try to benefit as much as possible from it, seeing as it is inevitable.

I went to school in England and had professor's come to the USA to train us!
I know every well people who smoke pot & r very well to do!
Maybe I have a strong opinion towards CANNABIS that most countries should embrace !
I love England very much and am hoping they do what's best for the population!

But Danny, NO WAY was it ever gonna take that long now. 3 years was already the limit in my mind, and even that seemed too long to me to be realistic.
Like I say, Ive no doubt they have now simply accepted the futility or keeping heels burried in the mud any longer.

So rather than dig deeper and go against the flow of many other nations now (and more to come), suffering in recession etc. When they would only soon enough have to change their mind, and look like complete idiots and hypocrits in the process. No beneficial delay, which could hurt them down the line, while delaying their move which they see they they have to make now full swing. Get in there in the scrap before it even starts, control the punches. Be the "good guy". They aren't actually in control of this really, none of the countries.

It may feel like they (World governments and countries) have some convoluted plan to control pot as they would like. But they can't control it or keep it how it is any longer. I dont believe that they want it legal at all, Im sure they (the real puppet masters) would get rid of it ages ago.

So they see this now and think- only beneficial course is to get in on it quick for the biggest slice of pie and position of control. So as in Canada, it now becomes a tussle for the deal and terms where we have to hope for the best outcome for the citizens and for Marijuana.

It was from Cosmicglasscompany.com But I got it when they had their store on dhgate. Then something happened and they renamed themselves on dhgate I believe.....but also have inventory in the US.

I could not find it again on dhgate, and their US site does not show it. But I recall seeing it on dhgate after they changed their name on dhgate.

Got this piece today. I'm slighly underwhelmed. 4 slit perc - mostly a 3 unless you really pull - not the cleanest cuts. Was hoping for use with bangers and my logs, but the neck is not bent enough for log use to be comfortable. Shines with a banger though.

I’m just messin’ with the whip there, that’s not the intended purpose and even tho his label that I scraped off left a light frosty witness mark it’s no big deal, I kinda like it now that way...

Here is the DHGate 16" tree parts recycler. It was shipped out the day of purchase, and I received it 11 days later. It's pretty damn big and I dunno if my lungs have the capacity but it gets the job done. Pretty damn thick glass on this, it's sturdy and heavy. It appears that the original seller I bought it from is no longer listing but I have seen this piece is a couple of different colors.
