How is the fit with the 10mm to 14mm adapter with the M ?
Is it tight?
Does the M sit stable and is it easily removable for clearing the vapor out of the glass-tool ?

It fits well. If I add some pressure the 10mm sticks to the dynavap, I can lift the dynavap and the adapter will come with it. Or I can easily minimize pressure and they don't stick (makes a seal without much effort). That should help show how well the fitment is.

The dynavap sits stable as it has a tight fit and is inserted a few mm into the adapter.

And yes it is easy to clear

I think for many of us ex-smokers dig the ritual un-regulated, on-demand devices give us.
I've never liked session vapes where you hit a button, wait for heat up, and then suck on a plastic straw for 3-10 minutes when the device auto-shuts off. It makes me feel like a drone.

Yesss! These are my exact feelings! When I got my xmax pro, it made no sense to me. I was hating the whole experience and I was afraid I'd go back to smoking. I loved the rolling ritual so much, it sometimes took me 20 minutes to roll a damn joint. So my thoughts prior to discovering the vapcap were "I guess I'll go back to vaping when someone invents something that is as small as a cigarette and I can microdose with it". Thankfully I didn't give up researching and I found out that my dream device had already been invented and I didn't have to use batteries for it!

I love preparing the hemp filter sandwich, I love the twisting and oddly enough I LOVE cleaning them!

And then, of course, there's this forum that allows geeks like me to find a very supportive community.

Yeeees! This is my favourite place on the web! I keep saying this but if it weren't for FC and Dynavap I would be still dealing with all the crappy health issues combusting would cause me.

I love your music! Soul-melting sound!

There is something about the hands-on involement with the VC, eh? First night relaxing at campsite, I pulled out the Vaponic+, Xmax Starry and the VC. Hmmmmm, what do do to kick off a week of serious trials? Filled the Starry’s oven, then dumped it, and filled the Ti tip with smallest volume screen placement. A couple of those through the evening and I was good:) FWIW, I slept straight through seven hours, no pee break, something I never do, especially after a couple of brews, LOl.

@Winegums first time I noticed the difference in caps was yesterday.
I set up the triple stem and took a picture, only when I zoomed in did I see it.
I've no idea when exactly the last two caps arrived but it would be around the time I got the 4th gen tip.

I only have two of the one on the far right so I'm assuming it's the last one I received.

Received my Omni xl !! Big day I went right away to the vaposhop buy a decent lighter, went to get to the block some amnesia haze but I'm playing with it and saw video about reducing the chamber but I feel like the tube getting stuck when I try to move the cc'd, weird

I believe it arrived some time around when I got my first fourth gen tips as well. It looks just like the middle cap on the right.

Interesting to see these little differences from part to part after using them for so long.

The magnolia trees are starting to bloom here which is the giveaway that spring has arrived. I do love the new life that spring celebrates. Momma nature is quite the artist.

So, it is interesting how each of the Ti tips is slightly different on how much friction the cap gets and therefore how much out of round they need to be. The LE7 seems to be the loosest and regular 7fin (oddly) seems the tightest. The 5fins are in the middle with the current tip being the second loosest after the LE7. The differences are much more in the tips than in the caps it seems to me.
Does that correspond to others experience?

@Apogee Is that how oval the cap had to be? or is that just to show the mod?

Thanks for showing how you made them fit but I think most of us were more interested in how deformed the caps had to be when just squeezing it.

Also, I'm not sure if it was covered but did you swap the ill fitting caps to different tips and test the fit?

Btw, this is what happens when you don't use a condenser for those that are curious. The whole inside of the stem gets coated in reclaim and it starts to pick up a funk of stale vapor pretty quickly.

I swapped all the caps around. The caps were really loose, no friction, slight tip and off they go. No shaking required just gravity. I have wondered if the caps were at the high end of their tolerance range and the tips at the very low end of theirs. Blueprinting a brand new engine required taking it apart to checking clearances and replacing parts that were mismatched because of tolerance swings.

This last photo shows the mark left from the pliers.

Couple days ago my Vong wood stem arrived and after installing I noticed that the carb wasn't working which I didn't mind since I don't use it often anyways. Have a 2017 M and added a xl condenser with mouthpiece with the Ti tip. Looking at a pic on Dynavap that I had installed the stem backwards. At least now I have a easy way to do away with carb if needed. Best news is I now have all the parts except for a cap to make a M

I think for many of us ex-smokers dig the ritual un-regulated, on-demand devices give us. I have ADHD and it gives me something to fidget with-I do the same with my Lil' Bud and Milaana.

I've never liked session vapes where you hit a button, wait for heat up, and then suck on a plastic straw for 3-10 minutes when the device auto-shuts off. It makes me feel like a drone.

When I've got a fine piece of metallurgy or woodwork in my hands I feel vastly different. Especially when these devices are made by people I know, like, and admire.

I have OCD too, so the vapcaps, Lil' Bud, and Mi allow me all sorts of fun ways to play with that mental illness through personal customization on the craft after-market.

And then of course there's this forum that allows geeks like me to find a very supportive community.

Happy Saturday FCers gonna go see the Marvel movie with my youngest who is of legal age to consume adult libations, and then get a new set of nails so I can start rehearsing for the new album.

Enjoy

Thanks for that vid. It makes me realize what a hack I am after years of playing and that I should probably quit! Seriously, very nice work!

I received my new shipment from Dynavap yesterday, and as I said I would, I'm posting about it.

The Ti Omni XL stem's finish is definitely much worse than my older stems and bodies. It's basically covered in scratches. Even my older Ti Omni that I've been using for over a year still doesn't look as scratched, with daily use and carrying around.

Having said that, I just love the XL length. It just changes the whole experience. I still really enjoy this new vapcap, despite what I said above, so I'm not sure if it's worth pursuing the matter. I'll probably end up polishing it myself at some point and calling it a day.

Also, the finish on the titanium mouthpiece, tip and cap is not perfect, but much better than the stem.
