Greetings,
I'm an enthusiastic user of both the Arizer Solo 2 and Arizer Air 2. I was going through FC forums one day and stumbled upon an accessory that I really like. I bought 4 of them and now I want more. But I just followed a link from FC forums to a website, placed an order and can't find it again. I'm hoping FC can help me. These tips were originally for another vaporizer but work great with the Arizers. I've googled everything I can think of but no joy. Can anyone help?

Gee, can you give us a clue about what you want? Special stem, stash jar, grinder, screen, cable........

That should improve the odds we can help some?

Thanks Armani! That was it. Glad the mod edited my post to show the photos. Ordering more fat caps, stuffing a stem full and then heading for the clouds with my Arizers.

That is how I also felt when I got my first vaporizer...the Air. I have 2 air's, air2, and an argo. I also have some high powered desktops and I still like using my Arizers all the time.

You made a solid choice in a vape!

And a new toy I just luv using now....nice to walk around the house or where ever and vape so causally.

never wanted to beat that one ;)
Hey Arizer 2 owners, what batteries are recommended for this unit? Like continuous Amp rating or general the recommended batteries (Samsung 30Q, VTC5 etc....)
A friend of mine is awaiting his Air 2 and surely needs replacement batteries ;)

BTW is the bubbler straw worth it? He was pretty excited about it already :D

It is a so so way to use the vape. I can get by with slowly drawing so you dont suck up water much....but using the stems with the vape sitting upright....I dont like. I like using the vape upside down with a wpa to keep the load off the oven bottom. That way you do not get stuff in the oven or get hot/burnt tasting vapor if parts touch the oven bottom.

Personally, I would just get a small regular bubbler/water unit. Using the vape with a wpa in a normal 14/18mm joint water unit is the way to go if you want/need water in the equation.

Thanks for your opinion!
He was actually thinking about getting a water unit also but to use the straw for portable sessions which will be the main use case...

I hope the reliability is as good as the Air's. I have the Air for 3 years didn't need warranty repair.
Other then precise temp control, which I don't use much, what are the advantages of this new one?

Tha air 2 has better airflow ,battery life and temp control ...my first vape was tha boundless CF 5 temp setting was easy and nice but I'm liking that I can play around with all tha temps ...It has changed for me in tha past month of having my air 2 and I'm starting at 360 and get some very tasty hits then go up from there ...

Hey Arizer 2 owners, what batteries are recommended for this unit?

The one the factory uses, NCR18650B is the ideal cell for the application IMO. At least for now. Same as in ArGo. Funny how Arizer might go right to the best available.......like they did with Air 1 (different cell there).

LG HG2 20amp & Sony VTC6A 20 amp from imrbatteries.com great prices.

Those should work OK, but 20 Amps is not needed here. Since this (high current ability that's not needed) is a 'trade off' with capacity (which we always want more of) this means less run time than the factory cell (which has 3400mAh, a useful increase). 3400 beats 3000 or 2500?

IMO Arizer has some solid engineering going on. A good 'first pass' is to check out what they did, and why.

Other 1860s will work (warranty aside), but 'pick of the litter' is the one they picked IMO. If there was a better choice, I suspect they'd explore that too.

@OF How many amps is needed for the Air 2 to work?

IIRC Solo runs a bit over two Amps with two 18650s in series for 7.4 Volts (nominal). Air has to do the same work on half the voltage, so it needs twice the current (voltage times current equals Watts) so we're talking a little under five Amps?

"Exactly par" for the 4.8 Amp rated cell the factory uses...... Good 'back of the envelope engineering' IMO. The same cells are also used in Solo II, where they 'loaf along at half speed (capacity)' and therefore run twice as long as Air.

Fun stuff.

Regards to both the readers.

Thanks @OF this clears exactly the questions I had! :D
Had seen the NCR in a review but was wondering if it could keep up with amps really.
:peace:
