I don't see the point of playing with it. I don't want them lose and falling-off like when they are new.
But I'm saying, you can totally get them to fit snugly with no chance of just falling off, but still have the magnet be able to pull them off. It takes practice, I probably fussed with it for hours on my first cap. But nowadays I can get it done in 5 or ten minutes every time. I wish I could give better advice but it's just something you have to get a feel for. I literally just did it in one squeeze on my new engraved cap, once you get it down it'll seem so simple

happy camper....
in postimages.org ,, with my old ipad does not work the automatic copying (small image to the right of the link)

that is why I click on one end of the link and keeping the cursor dragged at the end of the end, when releasing it leaves option to copy

That's my operandi mode from my ipad

I didn’t mention highlighting the link because it simply doesn’t work for me...the link is longer than the space provided so you have to drag it...but that’s where the trouble begins, as it UN-highlights at the time it’s being dragged beyond the box and it blinks like it’s having an electrical fit. Just not worth the effort. But I do see what you’re saying. I just wish your iPad would let you use the “Copy” button. :)

I don’t know anything about these vehicles but I’d love to have a miniature one. Ha

in the next few hours I will show you my VW miniatures :brow:

I FINALLY figured out how to use my IPad with imgur (with a little help from @cybrguy )
Use Safari to access your imgur account. Click on “Images” from menu. Click on picture you want to upload and use the URL that is right next to the “Link” drop down.
Add .jpg to the end and you are good to go!!!
Sorry for the OT - but excited to share my long journey to success!

thanks you but it is impossible for me;
*I do not have an account in imgur
*I have no option to go to images
*I have to go to google and search for "upload imgur" so that I get the option to upload the image
*I do not even have the option to see the link once the image has been uploaded
we will continue investigating and testing

I think my iPad is older or different but while it works for you, I happy

Maybe you can, but I like how they fit now for other reasons. Plus, I don't find removing the cap with the magnet to be necessary. If I felt it was, then I'd just get stronger magnets. Fingers work fine and I still stick the cap on the magnets often after I pull it off so it stays put (and cools off quick).

I wouldn't mind if the magnets pulled the caps off better, but I also don't think it's worth the trouble of fiddling with the cap more.

As I've gotten use to the dynavap and found the sweet spot I actually don't find myself using the magnet much anymore. At first yeah but now I'm taking long draws until it clicks and can be handled right away.
My lung capacity has increased greatly since quoting tobacco and burning weed 7 months ago.
I'm pretty stoked I can inhale until the click!

I think what's happening is the extra force from the magnets is flexing the discs so they click sooner. I don't think there's enough force to deform the discs permanently and any magnetism in the discs would be negligible. In other words don't worry about it. I use extremely strong magnets and haven't noticed any change in performance.

Thank you. Yes George confirmed the same as well. Testing out 2 magnets now ;)

Warning newbie comments incoming: I have owned the 2017 M since Dec. and just received the 18M a few days ago.

The changes from 17 I think are subtle but noticeable. I remind myself that this will never replace my other vapes and that is perfectly ok, this vaporizer is so good that I had to think about it for a second. I have never felt that way about my arizer air or e-nano (both great in their own right). The dynavap m does everything well, its really the definition of a versatile vaporizer.

Yeah me to, hoping this week sometime.
same! Hey all this is actually my first post. Very much new to vapcaps and butane vapes in general, my work buddy told me about these things on 4/21 (we work in a call center so we work weekends) and I'm sold lol, been lurking this thread and binging youtube vids all week! I've already been vaping ecigs far longer than most people to replace my nasty cigarette habit, and that has been successful 100%, but I've always had a hard time with the battery powered porta vapes for 420 I've tried lacking performance and portability, especially comparing to ecigs...... although that's obviously an unfair comparison if we're talking specifically about dry herb.

Anyway before I start rambling on more about that, all my research points to the fact that my vapcap will crush all my preconceived notions about portable vaporizers and help me fully appreciate my herb and my lungs and fuck combustion right the fuck out of my life for good! Super excited to see this company has such an awesome online community behind it.
1 week after paying and still no shipping is a bit of a bummer but, I used to work in shipping for an ecig.company that was a startup at the beginning and I understand what retail Joe must be going through right now :p. Praying to the gods of shipping that I get an email tomorrow and possibly my package by Friday, but even though I only got the 20%off and free shipping, I'm in Canada and the price I paid from DV even after exchange is closer to 40% off what the Canadian sresellers would've cost me after shipping and tax, (provided that I don't get any customs fees) so I think it's well worth the wait to give the company more direct support, so they can grow to handle our hugely growing demand :spliff::spliff::spliff:

Also, while I'm here I do have a few questions that I might as well throw out there.
1. Torches:
I've seen George himself recommend dual flame for new users, originally I was thinking I would grab a triple flame and a single flame and start off with both options, but I didn't realize the world of torch lighters was so varied in price and options. I'm thinking i do wanna start offwith one solid torch but not go crazy on price and I'm seeing benefits to all the different flame types so I'm asking: what would be your expert reccomendations for e solid model/brand for around the 25-50$ range (I'm speaking in USD but if any other Canucks out there could give me CAD prices that would be awesome too) as a torch to start out with. I'm open to single triple or dual flame, I feel like quad seems excessive. I want to be able to get a substantial size hit but still have a quick enough heatup for outdoor use to maximize the stealth factor. I realize technique also plays a big role but want to have an easy time getting the technique down. Alternatively if anyone can recommend 2 solid torches with different flame setups that would cost me the same or less I'd be into that too, I'm most likely gonna try to order the torch and butane from somewhere in Canada just to minimize border weirdness or see if I can pick up in a b&m. In the mean time time I do have a chef torch that I can manage with for home use, I'll just be very careful.

2. Condenser milk? How does that work.... Is it actually effective at cleaning and consumable? Sounds like something that would be up my alley :brow:.

3. Concentrates
What different methods are there for using concentrates in these things? I've seen alot of reviewers say the VCs handle concentrates super well but I haven't seen any demonstrations of this being done, if someone can link me to a video or any post on here that explains it that would be awesome, I know there's something to do with hemp fiber or sandwiches?
I ask because I have been primarily a bud guy forever but have recently been getting into using some 510 based ecig attachments for concentrates and having a pretty good experience, better than what I've previously experienced for herb vapes but still not the full on dabbing experience I expected. Wondering if the VC can just get 2 birds stoned at once as they say :D, if so I'll have a second one coming my way in not too long.

I've been on forums for various other hobbies in my life before so I'm sure all of these topics have been exhaustively discussed in the thread before but id greatly appreciate any helpful links that could be sent my way, sorry for posting an amateur novel as my first post too but anyway, I'll be sure to update once I get my order!:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Any friends from Canada receive a shipping confirmation since 4/20? I made an order but never got a confirmation of any kind. Sent an email a couple days ago and haven't heard back. I know they've been super busy though. Just hoping my order went through.
I emailed and heard back last Thursday for mine saying 1-3 extra business days due to the 420 rush, fingers crossed we both get a confirmation tomorrow! Although I did get an order confirmation not a shipping confirmation yet, did you check if your payment was processed?

Yeah I think the payment definitely went through, and it's there in my Purchases page on Dynavap, just no shipping confirmation. Thanks for the heads up! Fingers crossed. I'm in Vancouver btw.

Throw out your plan and start over!

Get something cheaper but not insanely cheap, my recommendation:

https://www.dynavap.com/dynashop/accessories/cyclone-ii-triple-torch-[inactive-needs-description]

I get fantastic performance from my two vertigo triple flame lighters. You can buy extra refined butane fluid at headshops/cigar shops for refilling.

Now put your $ towards a lithium powered induction heater (for stealth on the go), click the FAQ in @Pipes signature for more info:

3. Concentrates

The vapor is already activated after being heated up, it condenses on the air-path gumming it up. Hot milk can be used to dissolve some of condensed vapor and since its already activated its kinda like an edible.

I have not had good luck with concentrates with my air or enano. I hate the taste of organic cotton (what some people use). I bought some gummed hemp fiber off of dynavap and I was very impressed with a small amount of shatter. I havent tried it yet but I hear the hemp fiber works great for cleaning up the condensed vapor as well so it can be revaped

I love the enthusiasm and welcome to the party. Have you seen the Best Of Thread, its full of usefull stuff:

And for more specific links look at @Squiby 's signature. It even has direct links to pictures about vaping concentrates.

About lighters, I only have two triple torches and the heat my cap up pretty fast. I should've bought two different types so I could tell you more about the differences.

@Tronzo669 Welcome!

About torches: I prefer single and dual torches because it's easier with those to heat the cap with precision (heating the cap at the end results in lower temp hits, and heating closer to the tip results in higher temp hits):

TQ2BERz.png

I use the triple torch for outdoor use because that "butane monster" reduces the heating time quite a bit.

Montreal over here, but I order most of my green from your neck of the woods :p
@olivianewtonjohn wow thanks for answering so quick and so thoroughly! You've got me leaning on that cyclone now, I'm thinking that will be my out and about lighter and for now I can fiddle with my chef torch on it's lowest setting to experiment with more single flame style techniques when I'm at home and don't care about longer heating. Also hands free operation with the chef torch is a plus at home haha.
I hadn't found the best of thread before but now I know where to look for most of the answers to..... Everything, there or any post from @Squiby :D
@Dutch-Mic thanks for the welcome and helpful diagram! From what I gather the single flame really seems to be where you get the most precision as you say, I think I can mimic this with my chef torch on minimum and just keeping the cap a little further away then with a pocket torch but I feel like my DVAS is very quickly going to surpass my current vas with ecigs, so I'm sure I'll have 1 or 2 of each in a few months anyway :p .

I'm kind of disappointed with my Vapcap M. It's just been small, underwhelming hits. Maybe I just haven't learned how to use it to its fullest. I got it because I wanted something for fast hits. I love my Cloud Evo but it can make a bowl last about 45 minutes.

Just putting it out there - I reckon my Vaponic is better than the Vapcap. Bigger hits, more versatile for concentrates, better taste. The only downside is that the borosilicate glass is fragile.

Dutch-Mic

I own both the Vaponic plus and the M. The taste is indeed better with the Vaponic, but the M is, with the right heating technique, a great cloud producer. In my previous post you can see a picture that makes clear how you can regulate the temperature. Have you already tried to position the flame close to the tip? That gives me bigger clouds

I'm in Canada and got my shipping notification yesterday. The package still isn't in USPS hands but it's progress.

leveltree

never wanted to beat that one ;)
@bibblybobbly
For me the vaponic also wins in taste but everything else works better with the M.
Heating learncurve is way faster with the click and it definitely has the shortest extraction time if used correctly, so exactly what I think you want.
Maybe fiddle a bit more with heating position and get to know your Vapcap better?
I am also still learning though, but had "quick hits" often now ;)

@bibblybobbly I dont know anything about Vaponics but my Dynavaps have made me stop using my Arizer products and my poor Enano that I love gets little love. The Nano does give fast tasty hits bit does not give me the same effect. Try going a second or 2 after the click or at least heat to the second click would be my suggestion. Also keep it close to the blue flame while heating. Good luck!

Having read the guidelines people have provided here, I'm sure I've just been using it wrong. I only tried it over a gas stove because I couldn't find a torch lighter. I'm gonna give it another go.

But this thread made me go back and use my Vaponic for the first time in years.

GOD DAMN! I forgot how amazing it is. I've never enjoyed hash so much as tasting it through the Vaponic. World's most underrated vape maybe? It gets my vote.
