Recommendations on a visit to Denver, CO?

Back home and had a fabulous trip!

I can't thank you all enough for all the feedback!

@Silver420Surfer ~ your guidance and recommendations were well received. Having revisited the brand, I get where you are coming from with regards to your Botanico opinions. I fell in love with them on my last visit back in May. I got some of the same exact strains from them and the favor profile was NOTHING like the previous runs. Perhaps it is just inconsistency or maybe they just let the quality drop, but it was recognized at first taste when I did a same strain comparison... I admit I still kinda liked a few of their live resins, but their shatter was absolutely not okay. Looked great, but taste was foul. Thanks for trying to steer me clear.

The recommendation of Viola was excellent. I've seen a few of the ESPN and Viceland specials on Al Harrington and was very much impressed by the product. I picked up some Black Label Shatter Papaya Dreams, it is one of the nicer and most flavorful shatters I've had. Not as big of terpine profile as Badfish (for those that are familiar...), but more natural and just spot on. Find this, Buy this. I also grabbed some Clementine X Papaya Live resin with even louder flavors and aroma. I just love the live stuff right now...

I'll post some more thoughts throughout the week:D

Need to make a permanent trip to CO one day. Been looking at real estate but dang it's expensive for a bit of land out there!

@Silver420Surfer I ended up finding some Zprite Remix and Peach Brain Freeze black label and i gotta say i was blown away. Green dot has really been on point.

Great choices @cptchronic.
How do you like the terpene profile of the Peach BF?

My last score of black label(med) included Butterscotch, Syner G(cbd/thc), Zyner G(cbd/thc), Sour Dubb, Birthday Suit, Peach Ozz, Grease Monkey, Birthday Suit, and Halo. I'd buy Green Dot black label(silver label too) to stock away like those doomsday preppers if I could afford it lol. Well, at least rotate stock out yearly. Don't know if I'd want to go over a year , you know, shelf life/potency loss.

@FlyingLow -- Green Dot Labs dispensary locator...next time your in town. If they are on that list they should have it. As always, call before. Plus some may not always update their menus. Don't be afraid to try the silver label either. Silver label is flower they source from retail grows that they deem grown right, and pretty damn dank. I think they did silver label to keep up with demand. They can only grow so much own their own, plus they went Rec in 2016, which split their grow between med and rec. But the silver I had was very much on point in regards to terp profile. Not to mention some rather exotic strains.
But just something about their black label, grown in-house product:mmmm:
I swear its the predominantly Bodhi Seeds genetics(my favorite breeder).

@Silver420Surfer ohh i love it, one of those flavors that just sticks to your tongue. The peach is definitely present in the flavor and it just is one of those that stood out from the bunch. The zprite is good too, tastes like skittles to me, not as fragrant as the peach however. Still top notch though. All the black labels i looked at all smelt fantastic. They just have such good genetics. The tender told me theybwere going to start selling quarters of the flower along with the black label here in a few months.

I totally agree with stocking up though haha it literally is hands down the best imo. I got a few silver labels as well, cherry diesel, uk cheese and gg4 and they are popping on flavor as well. Just something about how they process gives all their stuff its own distinct flavor and each strain really stands out.

@FlyingLow i got the black label at A Cut Above, it was the only place i could find in Denver but there probably are a few others they just were sold out. Silver labels Good Chemistry usually has a couple different strains.

What's up y'all?

I hope everyone has been keeping well.

So I'm going to be in Denver real soon . . . . & I'm wondering, has anybody got any current recommendations for choice spots to hit up?

I'm talking fire dispensaries & strains, extraction artists, scenic views & walks, vape-friendly locations, 420clubs, galleries (heady or otherwise), exhibitions, activities & events, a good public shooting range, vegan food . . . . and anything else you happen to think of!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

:peace:
