There’s a carb hole in the cap that it’s coming out through. I’ve been messing with my favorite way to hit it and with flowers I usually cover that hole because the flowers need a while to build up vapor and it can escape. Also, since it conduction, it’s a slow cool down for the flowers and they sometimes keep vaping after I’m done with my hit. But really, you’re not gonna use it for flowers...you’re too much like me!

Hey guys...let me introduce you to the Dr. Dabber Switch!
It's a cordless induction powered e-rig that vapes extracts and flowers. Heats up in around 3 seconds with the Ti nail and 10-12 seconds with the quartz nail. Zero hot spots anywhere except the nail itself, which is located in the bottom of a deep, solid glass well. Should give 100 dab hits on a single charge!
It's in beta testing now, so we are still dialing in the heat profiles, but I am really excited about what this thing can do! With nearly instant heat that can go up to 800F, there is a whole new world of vaping possibilities. And it's trippy!
I'm not sure about release dates, but it should be soon and this is one to watch. The dab just got civilized (@ataxian ) with immediate heat up times and no exposed hot spots. Dr Dabber is here on the forum to answer questions, and I'll do my best to help out as well.
I can already say that after only two weeks it's what I grab for extracts around here, and everyone I've showed it to wants one for the $399 price tag (price includes the nice bubbler and multiple nails). It checks the 'cool as shit' box all day long and makes dabbing easy.
I'm a flower guy mostly due to availability, but also because it's easier and I don't like pens. The other night I was deciding on a vape for a nightcap and saw the Switch. It was the first time I considered wagging an e-rig to the bedroom, and that's because of how easy this thing is to use...instant heat up, no wires, no hot spots!
I like to load it cold and get it all set up, then press the Go button and start taking that hit within a few seconds. Easy to pass around at a party!

I've posted a few things to my instagram.
I'm not sure if there's an ideal way to embed here and right now I'm slipping out of my chair because I sat on a padded envelope by mistake.
While running the Switch through a few paces tonight, I met the Space Buddha.
I must have blasted through 2 or 3 grams experimenting with different cups and temps.

after a few dab tests I had a jar-mixup and loaded a much bigger dab than intended.
It took a couple cycles, but it handled it like a champ!
More feedback soon-ish.

For bigger dabs, you can use advanced mode and train the unit by holding the "d" button the whole duration of your entire hit. This will remember how long you held it for and the next time you just have to press the button again and your unit will heat for that duration.
@Dr.Dabber ETA for when these will be stocked at Canadian retailers?
I would say roughly 5 days- 1 week after the US drop is safe to say.

Good Lord, that box is no joke. Love that it seems to handle whatever you throw at it so far. Can't wait to hear a more in depth trip report. Either that or get a shipment notification
What is the diameter on the quartz dish? I'm surprised to see such a small nail on such a large device. IMO on first glance this will likely suffer the same fate as all portables, not enough surface area in the dish which leads to pooling and higher temperatures needed for vaporization.
