hello, good to all lovers of the green plant and vapers in general first of all I would like to introduce myself it is seen That this is a large community FORMED and above all rational and educated, Having take a vapcap for more 1 year (nonavong blacwood) apart from having taken another nonavong and an M(and dynastash in coming). I can say that this is a very great medical device! I suffer from chronic pain (chronic refractory migraine) and chronic insomnia from the age of 15 and cannabis has been a great relief and improvement of life, the only "problem" that the vapcap acquires is summarized in the public warming to suppose not to is discreet (I live in a country with a prohibition) It is true that with an Induction Heater or IH the problem disappears, however the shipment can be problematic for me (I travel a lot in excess) to say that now it is totally rational those praises and compliments as all the buyers of this device are so happy with the results of this (without counting the great customer service)almost magic (total portability, personalization at 100% elegant and distinct, an efficiency worthy of a device of more double of its price,by last sayes, am sorry for the enormous text and the numerous fouls ✋

A small induction heater that doesn't look like I made it would be great, the ones available now might be functional and robust but look like crap. The best looking one is similar in looks to a Chinese made inverter/HPS ballast.

It would be great if it looked like, say a Tera Vape, a few curves and 2 or 3 replaceable 18650 batteries.

The " high-end " side of cases ,for a VC induction heater :

http://www.fischerelektronik.de/web_fischer/en_GB/cases/M1.06/Tube cases/search.xhtml

Best cases in the whole world.
Top quality.
But they come at a relatively high price as Fischer Elektronik is a quite expensive brand
and it's products are top-notch .

Cheers.

Is there a way to track the package, because there is no refresh on my order and I have no real news since 420, I guess they have a lot on their plate..
You get a shipping email with tracking # when your order ships. I'm sure thay got a ton of orders so just be patient. I'm sure their gonna be shipping all week.

It would be nice to see A DV/Pipes collaboration to produce a dynamic, and robust VapCap inductor.

I read in a post here that, supposedly, George did confer with Pipes.

I think the biggest issue so far is that apparently the DV one will require the batteries to be removed for charging. Pipes IH can just be plugged in. Much simpler routine!

I'm 99.9% certain that in one of the recent live feeds, George said that with the initial DVIH the batteries would charge externally & maybe then an IH where the batteries could be charged onboard. I'd wait for the 2nd one as removing 18650 batteries from holders in a pain due to their longer length & extracting could lead to taring the plastic wrapping which is bad for 18650s. I certainly don't want to learn how to repair wrapping.

I'd like to see 1 or 2 silicone bands (like those paper holders used for hot coffee) that wrap around the cup. A wide 1 in the middle for gripping & 1 that goes around the charging plug to protect it from debri & getting whacked while out. Or just one extra-wide band that serves both purposes. It would also be nice to have a prong cover for the plug as well.

I assure you the Portside mini does not look like something you made. The aesthetics might not be for you but the build quality is quite good

Something that looks more like this is what I meant, without the bong of course, maybe able to use it for Vapcap with a little mod..

I bet Geo & Co, VapCap will have an Aha! Moment, and have their induction heater charged
with an induction mat—battery removal not required.

Or, a simple charging plug, in the meantime.

VapCaps—for a pain free world (& nuts like me).

To @Lady V, an effective cooling sleeve:

Is that a bubbler or a mouthpiece from another vaporizer? And is that duct-tape and some elastic-band type thing?

Silicone (heat resistant) sleeve/grommet for the meantime

Another 510 bubbler

When I saw these, I had the impression that I'd have to stick the whole vapcap in it, but you're just using the tip! That's interesting! I guess this type of glass is heat resistant?

For heat resistant glass, Pyrex, or borosilicate.

VapCap’s fat mp is very versatile.

Using just the essence of the VapCap, the tip, enhances an otherwise too long unaesthetic
looking WTF contraption. Just my :2c:.

Oh. If I may suggest another item for your wishlist,
a pocketable VapCap Induction Heater.

In the meantime, @Pipes is one awesome innovator. Bet he come up with just such a one....

Oh, I so want a @Pipes IH, but I'm confused about how to get one. There are times when I'm sitting on the balcony and use my torch, that I feel like a crack-head. And also I have never been a fan of torches, they are so inconsistent, at least the ones I got my hands on, even the expensive ones... Pocketable IH is the dream! Especially for someone like me that likes using my VC at work.

BTW it's amazing how little it smells!!! This device is such a game-changer!

This is what I was thinking of trying for cooling (cheapo and easily accessible... without the activated charcoal filters of course)

@Pipes offers a couple different IH models. Here is his FAQs page.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_202eBzWeF7rkTjqV5sWumPxtbSNtfjqOZEs1i9d16k/mobilebasic

Pick out the model you want to purchase. Then contact @Pipes though a PM on FC. You can do this by clicking on your inbox at the top right hand side of any page. Or go to one of Pipes posts and click on his name under his icon on the left side of the post and click "start a conversation" to get in touch with him.

Thank you @Squiby for dumbing it down for me. Without wanting to sound ungrateful, I do understand how forums work, I'm actually quite good with this stuff. It's just the fact that I'm innately shy and feel bad for asking you guys so many questions that adds to my confusion with certain things. But again you are perfection. I know it sounds stupid, but you are again changing my life (pretty sure all noobs in here feel the same way). So please forgive me if I'm fangirling a bit too much... The pipes IH will be my next purchase! Can't wait to save the money!!!

I am so excited my M is enroute and I already own 2x vertigo triple flames and 9 cans of 9x refined butane plus crafty pads for rosin. I think I'm set!

Did you get yours on the 420 sale? I didn’t get shipping confirmation yet and wasn’t sure if they just went ahead & sent it. I’m sure they could be backed up for a while after that sale too!
