@HealthyRips.com are you gonna make a case for the pods? Would be nice to have a case to take a few with you when out and about :)
You are right about the need for a carrier for the Fury "pods" or dosing capsules. My Crafty is a flower virgin. I have never had loose flower in it--and I only smoke flower(and a little kief!). Never had anything but the S-B dosing caps in it since I got it in Nov. I have two of the little metal "caddie" tubes with their air/water-tight caps, each of which holds four caps. One caddie starts out full and one caddie is empty. As a cap gets used up, I dump the used cap into the empty(it is marked) while its still hot to keep the chamber clean, and then dump a full one in from the other full caddie. This is what I did during my four or five days a week of skiing this winter. I would much rather of had my F2, but loading it outdoors in cold and wind is no fun. We definitely need something like the caddie system for the Fury caps and it doesn't look like they'll fit into the S-B caddies.

I used a similar technique with my mighty while skiing this season and would also love to be able to use the fury in a similar fashion. The fury just heats up so fast and you can get huge draws instantly so it would be very handy with a good capsule system!

Hi,

Owner of a mighty and looking for a more portable and stealth vape, I’m about to pull the trigger on a fury 2 for its price and efficiency (from what I’ve heard).
I looked all videos I could and read partially this thread (english isn’t my native langage so it would be a bit long for me to read the entire thing), and I’m concerned about a few thing.

As you can see on this video, at 3 minutes, the man shows a fury 1 bowl and its color has changed in a few months of usage. I got my mighty for 3 years now and it is the same as the first day. So I wonder:
1. Is it the same with the Fury 2?
2. Can it be harmful if even the material (that is safe according to their website) is altered in a short period?
3. It doesn’t seems like we can replace that bowl, so when it becomes too damaged we just throw the device away?

And I wanted to know if I could use the WPA to microdose (reduced bowl size from what I’ve read) using it as a mouthpiece at home, so no bubbler. Or would it be too harsh, or will material go in my mouth and throat?

Sorry for the noob questions, but as I switched from combustion to vape because of a p’eumothorax with lung complications, health is my main concern.

1) the fury 2 has only been out for about 6 months, but so far it seems to be holding up very well. I can’t remember anyone on this thread complaining that performance has lessened over time.
2) I am not sure what you are asking. Can you rephrase?
3) the bowl does get a little discolored, but it doesn’t seem to be a big deal, and so far has not hurt the performance at all. Also, if you use WPA, this will help keep unit cleaner.
4) I use the WPA for microdosing all the time. The heat is not a problem, although at highest temps iI will occasionally cough. Keep grind at medium or coarse and no particles will come through.

Edited for spelling

Thank you very much for the answer.
I meant, if the heating system altered the bowl, I was afraid it can have bad repercussions on the throat or lungs too.
Thank you for the advice on WPA, it definitely confort my ideas :) . How long last a session with it/how many hits per bowl?

how much do you pack into one Fury2 bowl ?
since the load sits there and the bowl is still hot when you turn off the device the whole load as to be consumed in one session, right ?

The Fury 2 works astoundingly good with small quantities, but for this special purpose, the Vapcap indeed does better.

I have both and agree, but once the capsules come out that might change. And if the capsules hold a liquid pad, and that works well, well then I think this little vape goes big time. I know once capsules came out for the mighty micro dosers really took to them.

@Mr. Me2 - I tried to post a pic, but some days it works, some days not-so-much. Today is the latter! Clyde says hi!
@mccringleberry - @Dynavaper said it perfectly - it does micro doses very well but nothing beats the Vapcap in efficiency (that I’ve tried).
@Mr.Sifter - I don’t have an accurate scale, so can’t give you exact amount. However, when I use native mouthpiece by myself and fill it up, I usually do not finish in one session. I will use lower temps and take off mouthpiece after session to stop heating. I can then turn it on later at higher temps and still get several good hits - although taste is not as good as first round (but much better than Crafty on a second session)
If I use the original WPA, I can get several good hits, but since it holds much less herbs, I will finish it in one shot.

I used the WPA attachment for the first time the other day, and spent the next day with a weird taste in back of my throat that was a nasty combination of herb and chemicals. Used it with the regular mouthpiece last night, and everything was fine afterwards.

Not sure if the WPA was the culprit, but I'm really annoyed with myself for not washing it before using it for the first time. That's just common sense, really. Never been my strong suit, that.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Fury 2... So far so good. Certainly not on the fast track to be my new daily driver; but a fun, small, easy to use, affordable session portable that can be shared, and doesn't use a lot of herb. Lots to like here if seeking affordable session portable.

Cheers all

I don't really have a daily driver, but I think the F2 could be. As long as you can charge it after a few uses, it could be someone's only vape, and serve them well.

I just have too many vapes, lol. I use my F2 as a largish load for just me and a mid sized load for two vaporists. For smaller micro loads I use my dynavap. For larger loads my mighty and my dnail.

And now that the weather is breaking in my neighborhood I expect to get a lot of use out of my f2 working around the yard and garden. It makes a very nice pocket vape.

My video. Hello. Thanks for watching.

1. Discoloration happens from the stainless steel heater being heater over time. Doesn't affect anything but shows you it was used.

2. I have other vaporizers that use stainless steel heaters and they also discoloration its fine and common nothing foul.

3. Too damaged sounds like you're going to warranty. I can't imagine anything else.

WPA is a 1 to 4 hit bowl.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
what do vapcapers think of the fury2 ?
Still early impressions mind you. It offers what the vapcap doesn't. Controlled heat at a press of a button. No real draw restriction. Initially, I could feel the heat in the MP. The unit seems to have normalized.

Small battery with a quick charge up time as the trade off. As opposed to carrying a brick of a vape.

Wanted a small pocket vape that seemed rugged. For when a vapcap wouldn't be the best option. I might have even used my M as a glass stem. :science:So there is possible compatibility as well.

Oh, I popped out the metal screen to the replacement silicone screen and use the silicone as an 18mm adapter for my vapcaps. Even has the little tab. Works great.
not to fond about the mesh caskets tbh
I'm hoping it adds more convection and not the direct heat from the walls. The glass stem seems more to my liking and I like my EVO. And the ELBs with my CFX helped with convection, I felt.

The Fury 2 works astoundingly good with small quantities, but for this special purpose, the Vapcap indeed does better.
Being a small hybrid with a short airpath, all heated, I presume doesn't have a lot of area to cool or restrict the airflow.

I've placed the rubber cover over the bottom so that I don't pinkie the airhole and to tame the airflow. Medium drags might be best. Say any pointers as to up performance? Best grind/pack/amount, etc. Also conduction isn't as great for me. So I'm looking forward to what the baskets offer.

Any word when the backorders of the bubbler are to arrive?
