Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I just got myself a pollen press, so that I could do something with all that kief that I've accumulated, and the end result is simply lovely. A nice little disk, about the size and thickness of a penny, ready to be used...but I'm not sure his, never having vaped anything more that dry herb before know. I'm planning to break it into a few small chunks, and put them on a bed of light brown AVB...but is there a better method when using an OG Brick?

So...whats everyones favorite heating source/lighter for the whole sticky brick line up?

http://lotusvaporizer.com/jobon-zb-635-torch/

This has been my favorite single torch lighter by far! I own two and will be ordering more soon, they can be had from eBay for around 9$.

Consistent lighting, easy to adjust, big butane tank and importantly, a stable flame that doesn’t seem to care about how full it is. Never once have had a issue with refilling either, just a quick purge and your ready to go. It’s been my DD for Lotus, Vapman and SB use for 6 months now, wholeheartedly recommend.

I think this one is hard to beat !

But really, my Honest torch that shipped with my Maxx over a year ago is still going strong. I also purchased a different torch off Amazon by the brand Tomolo which works incredibly well when it wants to. Unfortunately I don't think it's available anymore

They all perform very similar but it depends what style of vaping you prefer. Sbj hands down for portability.
OG still Portable but for more at home use and around the house
Hydrobrick/Maxx is good if you want the best of dry and water usage in a desktop vaporizer.
The flip brick is great for water rips and putting on a jhook! Hope this helps!

cool you reckon the jr still keeps up with desktop vapes such as the SB OG, volcano, evo, log vapes in terms of efficiency potency ratio

about to press the order button on the sb jr got a 20% discount code and its £97-$136
I have a Jr and use it at home...I'm older and just do not really vape out and about much (well, really at all).

I have found the Jr to be just fine for "desktop" use and it is powerful but like all "unregulated" butane vapes, you need to learn a bit how to use it effectively with the torch lighter you have chosen.

Now, you then ask a very difficult question...will a Jr keep up with a 'Cano or EVO. These are very powerful home desktop machines and I hesitate to compare them. I do think the EVO (have one) is damn efficient with herb. I would not say that particularly about the Volcano (have one of those also) but it has other charms that have resulted in it being a top tier vape for what...over 10 years?

I will say I get huge clouds and full extraction from my Jr. For me, its mostly for that quick in-between session because its so fast to use (like every night at 2 am when up with my back...or 4 am when up with my back or...haha).

If you get an SB, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Yes it can keep up. It can definitely hit like a Mack truck! As others have said, you will not be disappointed

I suspect there will be quite a few people wondering about this! I just ordered my first brick and cant wait to start fiddling around with how to heat it. I have a fairly small 2 jet torch, and am curious about one larger flame versus a 3 or 4 jet torch.

Looks like there is no mention of dremel torches in this thread...

https://www.dremel.com/en_US/produc...200-01-versaflame-multi-function-butane-torch

Has anyone tried using one of the diffuser attachments? Seems like that would be great for providing reliable even heating.

I feel like a broken record sometimes, but my favorite torch is still this Xing:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005...36_SY340_QL65&keywords=45+degree+pocket+torch

It is cheap and has a wide temperature range which is great for the Sticky Brick line of vaporizers. Some torches I have used don’t get strong enough or are too strong at their weakest setting. The Xing is right in the sweet spot with the ability to use a small flame for flavor chasing or a big flame for those massive clouds. I like that the tank is visible so I’m never surprised by it running out of fuel.

The Xing also is pretty much rock solid as far as the flame goes, no changing of size or flickering. That can ruin a Sticky session. The Xing stays the same, even using it upside down where some torches struggle. It doesn’t continue to burn very long after you release the button, which is another problem torches suffer from. If it is set very high sometimes it burns for a second after you let go but it’s still pretty quick. In normal use there is no issue at all.

I see SBL has SB Jr LE. How long have these been out? I am considering one of these or an OG. I don't think I would use the Maxx with water so OG seems easier to hold and light. The SE has premium wood. I would prefer the OG but don't want to miss out on the JR SE if they are not that common. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Nice 420 sales going on 20-25% off SBL

For me the hydrobrick maxx is the most simple to use when I use it dry because you can see and feel the vapor. It's s pity that I almost never use my OG and rarely my jr. With the OG the distance between flame and herb is so big that I didn't get this enormous clouds which always brings me back to the hydro maxx. I decided in this moment that I want to learn my OG and my jr. I'm sure they' re both awesome.

I was wondering, how many people here use the Honest torches that came with their SBJr?

I have a couple of them, and im finding that when they are turned up high enough to get the required heat to vaporise, they then take quite a while to extinguish. Anyone else finding that? have i been unlucky? Is there something else im doing that could attribute to how long it takes for the flame to subside?

im not using this flame and in my opinion is to short...i got about 5-7 cm flame and is much more effective, is aswell easier to make a hotspot , sometimes i do but not often :) after 2-3 sec i also going with flame up , when herbs are dry i just need little time of flame and more focus on my lungs to keep inhalation of air and taking cold white cloud
torche and flame are key using brick i think, this orginal torch from sb labs is a little bit deacres capabilities of bricks in my opionion but is just my opinion :) no offens to sb torch :)

I found this too, the honest are decent for vaping but the slow dying flame I disliked. The blazer is perfect in that aspect as it clicks neatly on or off.

BUT, when I do use the honest, I tend to just use the slow flame, I quit pressing a bit earlier and keep the dying flame at the intake, finishing my hit.
Really pleasant especially for those early hits as you go back to the low sweet heat levels at the end of a lungfull.
