Can I ask a stupid question? For those of you with Jarheads/Portside IH's... when the cap clicks (or a second or two later) you remove the Vapcap and vape as normal, right. I'm wondering if, with the apparently cup-shaped Dynavap IH, it would be possible to toke directly from the unit, thereby preserving the illusion of drinking soda through a straw?
So, I have been thinking a little about this and I have a couple thoughts (I guess that makes sense...)
If the DV IH uses a switch like @Pipes one could conceivably put pressure on the switch with your lips, release the pressure and take your hit, rinse and repeat. This would allow you to stealthily take hits and look like you are drinking.

But here is the problem. You are drawing the air for your hit from inside the IH mechanism, and if you are going to do that than much more consideration must be given to the safety of the air path and potential toxicity from the source of your air. When your IH is just the heat source and ambient air is your air source this is not a concern, but drawing your air from inside the device is something else. You are also creating significant heat in the receiving tube for the DV itself, so the materials in that tube also need consideration.

I'm not saying these potential problems can't be addressed, I am just pointing out some things that would need to be considered to use the DV IH as a stealth drinking cup rather than just a heat source.

@cybrguy No tactile switch in the DV IH, a sensor picks up the VC.

So, he's gonna need something to kill the power of someone leaves their VC loaded...
Although, I do not trust myself with a torch, I think I can handle a two flame mini torch.
I trust myself with a torch lighter. It's my credit card that I probably shouldn't be left alone with...

I just got this picture from a customer for who I made a matching stem to their Cocobolo log. It really shows how varied the colours can be in a single wood species. This looks like such a nice setup, I had to share.

All this talk about induction heaters, it could almost be its own thread like the one for torches?

@szai Dynastine mouth wash. Most efficient and hard hitting mouth wash on the market.

Is this a joke I'm not getting?
I ask because I googled "Dynastine Mouth Wash", and found nothing about any mouthwash.
Is this an Entomology joke? Because the google search returned massive amounts of info on scarab beetles.

Ok, all the good vibes about the VC ignited my VAS. Although, I do not trust myself with a torch, I think I can handle a two flame mini torch.

My 2018 M should arrive Friday.

Gonna be an interesting weekend!

Meh, you get used to the torch. Either way, welcome to the family!

Seriously guys and gals! No posting here since more than 8 hours? What's up everybody? ;)
I managed to get the battery of my new Portside from 100% to 50% within one evening yesterday. Other owners will probably be able to estimate how often I used and enjoyed it... :)

That's crazy. My Portside lasts me like 4 to 5 days of using it 8-10 sessions a day. Then again I guess it depends on the batteries you're using...I have 3000Mahs
