I actually saw that on your site last night and was curious if you could post a video using it.

I would like to see your technique of getting the strap on a hot barrel. I have to have the utmost concentration on the fork to not slip the barrel out of a side... it happens. :ko:

Does your strap tend to pick up much stickiness with extended use?

Just placed an order for the og slug.
I have an old vise, I think I'll need to mod it with a bigger plate, that should work.
I'll be back in a couple of weeks once I get the slug and run a few grams through!

I'm new here but been lurking for a while..

Ordered a Slug .33 a few days ago and did not receive a confirmation email.. I have emailed Natty but no response as of yet.. All i have is my paypal receipt..

Looking forward to trying this out so hopefully will hear something back soon...

Also looking forward to sharing the results on here!

Don't worry .. you do not get a tracking number .. but I'm sure it will get to you in a short time.
He is good on that.
Prepare now to hold on to a few grams of so so flower for learning and get a nice pile
of good flower for when you get the tech down and ready to enjoy your purchase.

It takes about 3 to 5 grams to deal it in .. then you should be good to go.

Thought i might get a confirmation of the actual order, but from what i have read on this thread, all should be good.

Nice. Mine should get here next week, I have very little experience with concentrates so I'm very much looking forward to trying some homemade rosin.

Ok , I just did my 4th press with the Slug33® , more on that later.

Then I Added 2 coins from New Zealand to the vice jaws.
One coin w/largest picture , of a ship is faced to the bottom side the Slug33®
and is J.B. Welded to that side of the Vise plate.
The other coin a bit smaller , but not by much .. has a picture of a long nosed bird
on it.
I put that facing the Ram of the Slug® when being used.
It is lifted a bit to give it a higher push and should be much better then the plate steal
I had been using.

I see a market for HD 4" drill vice ; replacement jaws or ready made ones.

As video kinda states or implies .. you need large face jaw and non moving back plate (J.B. Weld It!)

I'll look into figuring out how to post a picture of it later , but for now I just wanted to say
the 4th time still fail , kinda
Not making dab .. but .. not a loss .. actually a gain .. turned almost useless test stash into smoke able
hard pieces for the bong. Good one hit get stoned kinda thing :)

Cant wait to get this dialed in ..

I still think the Slug33® has a chance to beat or out preform my fall back press:
a H.D. 6 ton press
w/ 710Snob's 3" X 5" heat plate and controller
and Rosin Evolution's round pre press and micron screen bags
Now if I only had enough flower to run these tests things would be great.

Just some feedback , hope it helps someone.

You've failed after 4 presses and you assume it'll outperform your 3x5 inch plates? At doing what, 1 gram at a time? heh

According to the YT vids the Slug33® can yield .20 to .30 grams @ 1 gram a shot.
My 3 X 5 plates have be reported to yield about a gram from 5 gram run.

So doing the math , the Slug33® should be better for smaller runs.

That is great :)
I didn't do well with the straightener myself. My plates were not mounted
and I couldn't get them at a steady temp (plates did not heat evenly).
Although I didn't throw them away , in hopes of a future try with sift/hash material.

I love comparing tech. to find one I like best.

So bring on your stories. (be honest tho).

The yield is in the Flowers, the Press just helps to get it out........ just saying....

and everybody on the net wants to show off with the best results and % so don t expect 30% returns, you will be unhappy very often...
