For those who want a glass vapcap, I was able to fit the tip perfectly on one of these "OG chillums" I found in a headshop (theyre pretty ubiquitous, at least in the US). It does not have a carb, and it obviously wont fit a condenser in there, but its cheap (was $5), works well and tastes great. Just one note before you go out and buy: these chillums vary a few mm in size, so I had to actually bring the tip to the store and try to find one that fits well (maybe 1 out of 3 fit well).

(Sorry I dont have a pic with it attached, I gave mine away)

If there’s enough interest I’m sure we can petition Dynavap to make another limited run for an out of production model. If folks that are interested are willing to pay $50 perhaps George can then source some more durable glass? I’m game if someone wants to contact George and start the thread

Is there any advantage to the OG vs the M/Ti/Omni?

Yup. Taste is splendiferous
Like a pint of Dolly Madison Butter Pecan ice cream

@almost there I don't think there will be any more durable glass in the correct size, it's 10mm OD with 8mm ID the cap sort of sets the size.

I have the correct size tube and will be getting some work done to a couple of pieces in the near future.
More than happy to cut a few more if there is enough interest.

Any way glass is so last year, egg is where it's at.

that quail egg will come in handy for the munchies that follow, so very practical:lmao:. I’m very interested in your glass project, I even picked the colors already, the aqua blue or the gray:brow:

I'm sorry but those glass tubes are the wrong size and destined for stems of one sort or another.
I only have OG size tube in clear, but a nice idea.

I'm thinking I may have had a conversation about 10mm glass with a 1.5mm wall which would behave totally different to the OG's, and the bowl would be smaller so screens would have to be sourced.
@beyond6strings or @Padriano what size tubes did you have?

@stark1 I'll make a stem out of anything.
There are puffer and porcupine fish on UK Ebay at the moment the latter being under $20

I'm using 8 mm OD, 5 mm ID glass tubes.. the tip doesn't go into the glass, just butts up against it..

Edit. Oh yeah, we talked about 10 mm OD, 7 mm ID.. Its a challenge I dont need to face!

(Woohoo, first post on the vapcap thread! Hello!)

And that knurled stem has manly man written all over it ( I think you ladies here would look great with one too ) .

Me thinks it's 'cause men have larger hands than ladies do (there are -as always -some exceptions ).
So ,in order to get a good hold of small ,metal ( thus slippery ) objects ,men need a more grippy surface .

The razor head pictured ,is considered to be the MOST aggresive safety razor in the whole world
( Muhle R41 aka "The Beast " ) .It's shave is just a tad below the "cut-throat straight razor" shave.
But if that thing slips-accidentally- from the hand while shaving....
Oh...Trust me ..Bloodbath !
( Never really understood while they call this thing a "safety "razor ) .
The original handle the razor came with ,was awfully slippery .
That one pictured has so aggressive knurling job ,that I can even
apply machine grease on my hands
and still shave with the Beast .

Still ,myself also ,find very appealing a knurled thingy in ladies hands .

Cheers.
