Upcoming Boundless Vapes (UNO, CF Micro)

I wasn't sure if I can post a thread about multiple devices, but I didn't see anything in the info thread about it, and posting 4 new threads seems like a little much :p .

Note: The below quote does include information about their desktop vape, but I didn't want to cut it out the quote.

Jake at PIU posted this over at their subredit. So a big thanks to them for providing the information!:

Randy is at CHAMPS in Vegas and we just got some sneak peeks at a bunch of Boundless vaporizers currently in the works. All 5 of these designs are still in development and will likely change before release but we're already excited about the progress. Boundless estimates the release date of the portables to be late March but that could also change. Keep an eye on this thread, we'll be dropping updates as we get them. =)

The UNO appears to be somewhat of a CFV 2.0 - the only information we have so far other than form is the removable battery you can see in the album.

Boundless CF Micro Vaporizer: https://imgur.com/a/o0ASd

We assume by the name this portable is meant to perform like a Boundless CF in a slimmer form. It has a wide ceramic heating chamber and also features a removable battery.

Boundless CFC 2 Vaporizer: https://imgur.com/a/6DcUq

The younger, more advanced brother of the original Boundless CFC. The form has changed drastically, almost everything looks different other than the Micro-USB charging.

Boundless Desktop Vaporizer: https://imgur.com/a/AWHCl

This Boundless desktop vape was first hinted last year but doesn't have a name quite yet. The whip form is clearly meant for desktop use though it is also battery powered and features Bluetooth connectivity.

Sesh Portable Vaporizer: https://imgur.com/a/CS9YT

This vape reminds us a ton of a box mod which we're happy to see. This portable isn't technically part of the Boundless line but as you may tell by the aesthetics Boundless is handling the design and creation.

All 5 are seriously ugly. I don't know why they insist on copying the S&B utilitarian / power tools aesthetics, because honestly these S&B vapes are the ugliest kids in town. Unless you like Black & Decker style of course...

Why would they go from switchable batteries to a battery pack? Doesnt seem very practical at all. Probably take a grain of salt with it.

I was one of the lucky ones that got a good tera. Freakin beast of a vape. Figured the sanfu would happen. Usually is what happens when you try to make a chinese manufacturer hurry on chinese new year.

For those thinking I'm a bit harsh with S&B, let's never forget they were the ones bringing this ignominious contraption to the world:

Bro we all know it's not the hottest girl in town but as my wood working teacher always said: "Form follows function" and as you know s&b is always on top with the function :brow:
And actually I started to love my plenty even the looks
Maybe I just got used to it's uglyness:lol:

I would since I got one that works :) I wouldnt sell this thing for twice what I paid. Manufacturer fuck ups happen all the time.

I have three vapes from them so far. Every Black Friday I got one and then the Tera. All of them have been amazing. They have a good rep already. One fuck up they couldn't foresee does not make them a bad company. In fact they are making it right and lending other units to people while they replace the broken ones. No one else does that. Take a seat.

The CFC 2.0 is bigger and uglier than the CFC 1, how does that make sense
Then there's the CFC micro.. but seeing how the CFC got hot, this thing is likely to become even hotter.
Both of the above are pretty cheap vapes, unless you're on a very tight budget I don't see why would anyone go for a pure conduction vape that can't even stand upright on its own, when a good hybrid vape like the CF sells for less than 100$
The only one that looks reasonable out of this list is the Uno, which I guess is the Mexican step brother of the Tera :p (Same chamber, magnetic mouthpiece). It has an interesting design, but I doubt anyone would go for a proprietary battery, especially after the Tera that has removale 18650s..
Tera remains the most sexiest vaporizer ever made

Ugh, that desktop...do not like.
That's a big yes Slagzord! That desktop is fugly! It reminds me of a prototype of the first 8 track tape player from the 70's.
Just because ur designing a desktop doesn't mean you disregard size. I bet you could get four Volcanoes in the footprint of this Boundless desktop.
They need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

I agree, I'm not sure all desks will even be able to support this device

Also, if the "Uno" is successful and they decide to make another, will they call it Dos? maybe Uno Dos? :p

Well who the hell would buy a vape from BOUNDLESS now given their most recent fuck up with their TERA?!
Wit you Fat Freddy! If I were Boundless, I would start shopping around for another supplier than SMISS! They have been hit or miss for Boundless and there have been issues on other models produced by SMISS, how much do you take? A failed product launch?
It's prolly pretty difficult to line up contract manufacturers, so what do I know.

So the CFC 2 ("2.0") is same as the CFC only less discrete and designed like a dildo... still can't stand upright and no removable battery. I really can't find any advantage this thing has over the 1st (other than maybe stronger plastic mouthpiece?). By me, I would think this is the CFC 0 not CFC 2, because at least the CFC is smaller :D

Hi @sammuel

To me they didn't give right names. The cf micro looks more like a cfc to me. The cfc2 is a vape between the micro/cfclike and the cf.

Peace.

That desktop is not looking like much other than big and old fashioned. The test look like variations of other people's designs, but I have seen worse. The size of them all seem reasonable.
