I don't think that's a good idea for carry on or even in checked baggage, it could get your luggage flagged for search. We already have to empty out all electronics from bags when they pass through security. E-smokes aren't even allowed on planes along with some other battery powered electronics. I can only imagine the questions that would arise.

"Whats this thing? Why is it disguised as something else? What does it do?"

Maybe I'm just paranoid about the TSA and their bad reputation, but it's not something I would do.

minimum worst case is they take your expensive induction heater.

I think the best way would be to be honest. It's a heater for my tobacco vape. Most people couldn't pull the lie off especially if they are already high.

The biggest issue is the lighter not an ih I'm. I've flown internationally with various vapes including e liquid ones. Tsa and other security usually don't give a crap about your "tobacco" crap. I was just thinking tobacco pipes and e liquid vapers have given us a great bit of cover.

I just returned from Mediterranean in Oct and had no issues with my ecigs, batts inside case and charger, atomizers and ejuice at 4 international airports. I even pack my cfx with ecigs for national flights with no problems. Now that I have vc's it will be a piece of cake.

I think you need to have your facts strait before you get asked.
It's just my IH tattoo needle sterilizer. :uhoh: Honest. :luv:
Or it's an air-freshener device, did I forget my fragrance packs for it?... Dag-nab-it! Although this explanation is better fitted for an IH mounted in your car.

Don't think so, lighter and a can a butane is more tricky than ecig stuff IMO.

In US , no torches or butane period. Not carry on, not checked. I’ve done the research. Traveled with VC’s domestically numerous times. And commercial concentrate pens, with E-juice as a cover. Never been questioned. Of course, I'm a white senior citizen. And I confess to utilizing my privilege, gratefully acknowledged.

That's why it's a heater for my tobacco Vaporizer is the best story. It's true because the DV is an aromatherapy device!

But all verdicts regard to WORKING filled torches. But in fact a lot of security employees don't respect that without hassle.

If I were in a country with draconian cannabis laws I would be very nervous posting in a group like this. I think the risk might be significant.

I don't have the same concerns here in the US. Maybe I am being naive, but I don't think I represent enough of a target to be worth federal attention. And, while cannabis is illegal in my state, it is decriminalized and I can't imagine I would be worth even state attention. If I was in business, that might be different, but I am only a user, so...

The next time I travel by air I am sure I will bring a VC or 2, but I might only carry Ms as if I needed to I could toss one of them without being greatly upset. I probably would not carry them on.

Disassembled, and tucked away separately, it shouldn’t raise any red flags.

I tested a couple of loads. In the LE 7-fin tip on Ti Omni XL, I took 2-3 inhalations powered by a triple torch, and a last hit with a single flame near the bottom of the cap for max temp. This yields a relatively light yet still thoroughly extracted material. (Awesomely fast airflow, but you might need a little technique to not burn yourself with hot air [I coughed a couple of times] or draw too fast and prematurely cool your hit, though I'm not sure if that's physically possible or just psychological tricks.) I transferred this ABV to my 5th Gen tip NonaVonG and did a triple flame cycle followed by a max temp single flame hit through dry glass to observe vapor production, and I was pleasantly surprised that only very little additional vapor could be pulled while also making the ABV significantly darker (dark to superdark brown).

It seems that Dynavap may be perfecting the technology to allow for maximal extraction while all but eliminating the chances of combusting or scorching your material and your own skin, for that matter! I believe in George's vision for the future. All the ti tips are pretty great especially post Gen 3, it seems.

Are you sure about them being allowed in luggage? I was under the impression that jet torches were completely banned on planes.

I'm not saying it's legal. . . I'm saying if it's empty it's safe and very unlikely to get flagged in hold luggage. .

That's awesome @VapCap I believe once said that the difference between the Gen 4 and. 5 tips was about as good as they could do atm. The difference was a significant tweak to the fluid dynamics of the inhaled air.

I am not surprised in the least that he is constantly working on improving the Ti tip. This LE tip has been my favorite since first trying it. This is truly great work.
