What a beautiful piece.

I'm still rockin' my Daisy and Lily but pictures like this make me want a sticky brick too.

Hi all! Long time reader, first time poster here. I've had my Junior (named "Brick Tracy") for about 2 and a half months now and it very quickly became a daily driver for me. It's been so much fun to unravel all of its secrets. Probably the most difficult part has been finding a consistent lighter but after settling on a Scorch Torch I've been pretty pleased with the whole experience.

A+ vape from a standup company. I really love the wood aesthetic which doubles for making it rugged and durable.

Can anyone speak to the "butane taste" that I get consistently when I hit the device wrong? This seems to happen when I try to draw too hard to compensate for a low flame, where i'll light the intake for a solid 15 seconds and then breathe out no vapor; just got air. The end result is a taste that is very much "not right," and I'm not sure if it's butane itself or the water byproduct of butane combustion pulling through the herb and then into the mouth; it does taste almost like moldy weed or something to that extent.

Otherwise (when the hit is performed properly), taste is fucking off the charts.

I know how to avoid the taste and get a good hit, even if it doesn't happen every time. My question is, what is this taste and is it dangerous to our health?

What kind of butane are you using? I have never not a butane taste in my jr or Maxx.

Vector 14x and previously Colibri. Same taste. I'm not saying it's butane necessarily, but it's not pure hot air. It tastes kind of like wet weed, for real.
I dunno. All I've ever tasted through my bricks is delicious weed, maybe slight Woody taste once in awhile. Like, the best tasting vapes I've ever used.

I just recieved a quad torch as a replacement for the single torch that came with my SBJ from Puffitup (They're an amazing store btw)Let me tell you a quad torch is the way to go. Seems easier to get to hit the target area.

I've got a triple flame that I call The Extractor. It gets every last bit out but it's a powerful force to be wary of for sure.

Yeah, I've been using the three flame (in a triangle) torch I got from George at Dynavap and have to agree that I rather like multi-flame torches for my SB JR.

I just got some fairly recently and I like them. I think they restrict the draw a tiny bit sort of like a slightly resined up screen which makes getting hits on a fresh screen easier. Haven't used them enough to say how much they help keep things clean but I would expect it to be pretty significant since you're just flipping the capsule over instead of stirring which grinds the herb into the screen. I do think they help distribute the heat a little better.

I'd say this is a pretty solid practical endorsement. You sir have convinced me.
