Back from my trip to Utah and spent some time figuring out which vape to use and "who else could it be, N-A-S Nas". No. Sorry Nas not you. I love you, but the answer was Milaana 2.
Gotta get the microdose going because I'm pretty sure a full 18mm would destroy me right now.

@RastaBuddhaTao is the Mi 2 airflow more restricted than the Splinter or about the same? My Mi2 seems a tad more but I can't tell for sure.

Alright ladies and gents I've officially done it. I was persuaded by @supershredderdan to using the carb while going through water. This was with the 14mm basket of probably .04

Basically preheat for 5 seconds, start inhaling with finger fully over the carb. It's pretty damn restrictive at this point so you need to pull pretty hard to get the air through.
Few seconds of inhaling and there's no vapor, but I know there normally would be a hint of vapor under normal airflow circumstances. So I pulse the trigger a few times as I know temp probably rising pretty high now and lightly finger the carb to get some more hot air into the herb/stem (who am I kidding, I do it because it's fun), then hold the button for a few seconds straight to ramp up temp, continuing the hard pull, let go of carb and BOOM. Piece instantly milked with vapor. The fast draw brought in tons of hot air that built up around the heater while carbed. Super fun and what a hit! @RastaBuddhaTao awesome addition man...going to have fun with this.

Still using the Mi2 nearly exclusively except when friends are over (Splinter/Solo2) or if I want to switch it up a bit. I used regulated vapes for so long recently (Zion came, then Splinter, so I was regulated for quite a while), but I really do love the unregulated life. There's just something I'm enjoying about not having to turn a dial or set a temp or turn anything on, just pick up the vape and squeeze and get vapor within 5 seconds. I prefer Mi2 to Mi1 in every way now. The hits I get come so quick and are so thick and flavorful. ABV has been better than Mi1 and just all around less to worry about.

It's really nice to rediscover my love for the Milaana and be able to identify my reasons for loving it initially, while being able to compare it to the Splinter (just as powerful, but totally different feel with regulation). One of those reasons already being stated of just pressing a button. Another, and probably most prominent, as we used to mention in the Mi1 thread, is it is just such a user-unique experience. You don't have as many customizeable options as the Splinter, but every session is exactly how you decide to drive it. Do you want to have a professional driver drive you to your location? Or do you want to take the wheel. If you have friends that are bad drivers, you know how tempting it is to just call them an Uber. These are some of the factors to be considered when deciding between the 2 vapes. Both are equally incredible units, capable of hitting much harder than most desktops, but can fill different roles. Or just get both. I know if I lost the Mi2 at this point I would be very disappointed. I find a place for it next to the Splinter for sure. Really though, this vape hits so incredibly hard it knocks me on my ass if I don't respect it. It will pour out vapor faster than most and won't stop until it stops you.

Oh yeah, here's another 14mm microdose milk. That vapor is just too thick...

1. What wood is that baby?

2. Never had a Milaana before, would you recommend the Mi2 be my first over the Mi?

3. Based on your knowledge when will the Mi2 come out and how long do people usually need to wait if they’re not on any preorder list? (based on Mi launch)

Hopefully I’m not asking too much! :)

Depends if you can wait for the Mi2! It's not released yet, but I think it'll be worth the wait and easier to pick up.

Original Milaana launch is just such a different story because everything was brand new. This one should go much smoother as it's just a few adjustments to what he's already pretty much perfected. For a fact sometime after April 1st, not sure exactly when, maybe @Other Side or @RastaBuddhaTao can chime in.

I have found the advantages that apply to regular dosing are the same advantages that affect micorodosing. The fast heatup and reduced airflow help give thicker hits for sure. I think it's a bit easier to use through water too. Maybe the advantages aren't quite as substantial as they are for regular dosing, but are still there nonetheless.

When you get good enough with the technique it’s possible to achieve lighter, lower temp hits right? If one wanted to temperature step that is.

Absolutely. Doesn't take much, just a few bowls of trial and error and you'll be able to judge low temp by the heat in your mouth pretty easily.

Is there a release date for these beauties? Is there a way to reserve one prior to product? The added bit of draw resistance, smaller size, and position of intake air port make this ideal for my very limit hand dexterity. How does the Milaana compare in regard to vapor production, flavor, and effect with the Elev8r Torch vaporizer? Thank you any information you might provide

@AJS thanks so much for all the validation testing and well thought out reviews. Your understanding of the @RastaBuddhaTao tech is impressive. More companies should engage customers earlier as you and @Other Side, and so many others have made the @RastaBuddhaTao products so much better!

Hey everyone I was mistaken and the body is Sapele with a Walnut cap. Explains that irresistible shine that I can't get to properly show up on camera and why it always changes colors on me based off the light. Truly incredible wood.

@CL52613 i honestly cannot say as I've never used unfortunately. I can say it compares easily to the 7th floor LSV but never tried the elev8r. Only Troy has ever used both I believe (forgot his FC handle, sorry :(.)

Got some free time today and wondering if there's a video anyone wants to see. Microdose dry, microdose water, fat cloud water, sesh, whatever you wanna see I'll do (nothing kinky).

If I don't really get a reply or not feeling the suggestions, I'll probably just rip some fat cloud for you guys haha.
