Almost there...
I've never used a Supreme but the "bowl" seems awfully quirky to load compared to other products in this category? Am I just oblivious?

I find the S3 bowl to be easy to use.
Insert screen, shove bud down lightly and load tube. Heat and done.

The S4 bowl is the same loading mechanism except it now has O-rings that seem to seal the bowl to the main unit.
I am going to see if the silicone can be extended a bit to grab the bowl as in the S3.
It's a pretty easy vape to mod to your liking.

It's actually pretty easy, especially with pieces of flower. I find it easier than a GH. I also find it easier without the stock screen, and instead using a regular mesh screen.

Do these welds look super clean to you guys? Why does every pic of the SV4 look so "rough" compared to the SV3?

Just found this in an email from Ed:

"Attached at the bottom of this email are some pics I took (I still need to buff clean the round tube areas but that's easy and I'll do them as they are ordered because of how busy I am"

Personally I don't care much, as i'm more about function over aesthetics. I just hope it hits as well as the SV3.

Does this mean that the main stem coming down from the heat exchanger is now a larger diameter? It appears so from the pics, and it's now 18mm. So is there airflow going around the outside of the stem/bowl as well? And the grommet stops it? Thicker silicone around the main stem? It's going to work a dream with a claisen!

This is the email about the packages and contents.

We have some new SV4 options you may want to consider. If you already have a 10mm flat coil and a digital temperature controller, you can save money by buying just the Supreme Vaporizer 4 and a bowl set without buying the 10mm flat coil or the digital temperature controller. I attached a picture of the full package (option 3) and some other pics (glass not included).

Below are three options:

1) “SV4 plain”. Supreme Vaporizer 4 and one bowl set, without the coil heater and without the digital temperature controller and without GFCI for $195. “SV4 plain Dually” option is $240. You will have to have a hammer and use our provided nail to tighten the grip between the SV4 and your coil. You can tighten it just enough so the coil will be inside the SV4 but able to come out in case you want to replace the coil or use it for other reasons. The connection between the SV4 and the coil will feel loose (but will work fine) if you want your coil to come back out. Once you start hammering, it can not be returned.

2) “SV4 XLR upgrade”. Supreme Vaporizer 4 and one bowl set, with 10mm flat heating coil permanently hammered into the SV4 (no digital temperature controller and no GFCI). Our coil uses the highest technology to keep the handle cool when the coil is hot. The connection of the coil to the SV4 is permanent and the most solid feel compared to “SV4 plain”. It can connect to any XLR wired digital temperature controller. Single bowl “SV4 XLR upgrade” is $245, “SV4 XLR Dually” is $290.

3) “SV4 full package”. Same as “SV4 XLR upgrade" plus our digital temperature controller and GFCI. “SV4 full package” is $295, “SV4 Dually full package” is $340.

2 extra bowl sets are recommended with each vaporizer package. Bowl sets are $14 each. Bowl set comes with a bowl, screen, and three silicone seals. Please let me know which option you want and if you want any extra bowl sets or if you want more info on anything. The website needs more time to develop because we are trying to figure out which options are the best to include. Your package will ship out 5 business days after payment

Anyone want to make a stand for these? Something similar to the SV3 one but a little more sturdy maybe? The main thing being a way to dissipate the heat away from the stand where it connects ... (the sv3 stand does this beautifully in the way it connects ...)

Grab a j hook or possibly even a medium-ish tube. I use mine dry. Doesn't need to be fancy at all. The supreme is the real star of the show.

Yup first piece for it should be a 18mm j hook. You might consider buying a 18mm female to 18mm male joint. With a vapocone basket you can convert to full convection.

Ok got some milk, medience, and this:

Had to crank SV4 PID to 590 to see 185 at the sv4. Had to use my temp gun and started st ed’s recommended 425, 455, 470, 490, 520, 550, and then 590.

Three draws of flavor town and then fourth is wispy.

Will do one more session later tonight. Stay tuned going to go up to 610 or 640...
