Looks interesting but I just was reading the reviews and they all look kind of to perfect. Every one is saying it's perfect besides little things so they ain't sound to much like paid reviews

I would really like to hear a honest review of this vaporizer because like I said the reviews on the side look bought... And that's kind of more conserning
Is the one @KeroZen reviewed also as good rated like 4,5 stars on their side?

Can I say this vape looks promising! I just gave a deeper look at the website and there is some interesting features and replacable battery as well .

Is somebody can explain me this picture, what is the purpose of this sort of "dual chambers"? maybe to vape together concentrate on a side and flowers in the other one.... :
hera2__chamber.jpg

Already got the tracking n° but unit will be not shipped before tuesday, so I wouldn't expect to get it before a 2 weeks delay.

It will arrive in the same time the Lux and Something else in beta testing, it will be a fun testing week! Have to make the job before cause the test week will be on thge lazy side.

On paper it really sounds nice I know what you talking about but I never heard of one of their products...
Let's hope that it's as good as it's looking and can't wait for your review about it
Would be nice if you could compare it then to another vape in this price section like a xmax fog fo starry or maybe the obvious one the pax

Hi folks, the Hera2 reached my home yesterday. Testing begun but I need a week at least before to post my review.

One good thing: No intense "brand new " smell and no fumes while doing burn off!
Another thing: Replacable batteries but they are proprietary ones
The bad thing: I can't manage to find the air inlets to check if the airpath is fully isolated (but i asked to the manufacturer and expect a reply soon)

Here my first impressions since my review will be delayed cause my daughter broke my camera (a cheap one) and I can't take a decent pic with my old phone.

Vaped 10-12 bowls in the Hera2.

Feel like building quality is pretty good except maybe the mouthpiece attachments. Air inlet is supposed to be on the side just Under the power button and airpath is supposed to be isolated, I can't clog it but when I blow in the mp I can see vapor coming out from the air inlet. Not a big fan of the touch screen but it works very well, access to the optionnal features is easy to do. Proprietary replacable battery slide in and out easily.

It's supposed to be an hybrid vape (conduction+convection) but I think it's mainly a conduction vaporizer. Vapor quality is similarly good as a Pax3, Haze or Starry but they added a sort of separation in the bowl to conduct heat toroughlly through the load. So the load comes pretty well uniform in color and pretty well extracted if you bump the t° up a bit. I start my sessions at 10°C higer than with most of my others vaporizers but remenber my weed is on the moist side (I like to keep it pretty moist, 62% boveda pack), I'll try with dryer stuff soon.
Oil attachment is working with a special extract preset but doesn't seems to work really better than the Pax3 oil attachment, I only done 1 session with a small chunk of afgani/senegalese shatter although.

Battery last around 10x5mn heating cycles and need 2-3 hours to charge.

For now it's not so bad than I was afraid and even rather nice, it will not please to @KeroZen since a huge silicon part helps to keep the seal good on the mp just above the bowl... although it doesn't stink at all and there is no more silicon/new car taste/smell and it was very thin out of the box (it was not foam into the box but solid plastic like the first Focus came with) and disappeared quickly. It's a direct competitor to the Pax and it offers some nice additionnal features the Pax doesn't despite the bigger size .

More to come...

Here my review of the Hera2 after a few weeks of usage. First a pic of the box and all the content (you can see the 3 mp's and there is the usb cord and the cleaning Tools in the small boxes:
nFzRlN0.jpg

Like I previously mentionned the building quality is rather nice, aluminium body, stainless steel bowl and proprietary battery. But the mp's are not the best, made of (cheap?) plastic, the hera2 comes with 3 mps, a long one which is my favourite, a flat one (very similar to the Pax3 design) which is a bit harsher at +400°F and another long one designed to be used with the concentrate attachment. Be carefull with iso cleaning, I'm not sure the plastic will support an iso bath and since they are not dismantable cleaning is a pia.
Very thin brand new car smell.
There is a power button and a touch screen. You tap the button 3 time to wake up the unit, choose your setting (or concentrate mode or choose between Celsius or Farenheit and some more options) using the touch screen (very easy to master) and press the power button again +3s to start heating. Unit will buzz while ready to hit. Heating time is fast (20-30s), not as fast as the Fury but faster than the Pax3 imo, here another pic for size comparison (Starry, Hera2 with flat mp and Pax3 with flat mp):
EXWDUyO.jpg

It comes with a proprietary battery you can charge with the provided usb cord although they sell an external charger too. They told me a wpa is avalaible on their website.

Bowl is pretty large, you can load easily 0.2g but it works well with half of that. There is a separation in the bowl in order to lead heat in the center of the bowl using conduction (similar to the Alfa's pin, very effective to brown your abv). I tried to load only a half bowl packed in one side only.... this is don't work.

Now the performances, first i was stocked to read in the user manual they recommand a 420°F setting for flowers.... a bit hot as a starting point although i understood quickly why... very weak vapor under 400°F.
Although, when you understood this and use a 405-412 starting t° you'll get some nice hits and a decent taste (but slightly under the average), I tend to increase the t° for a 2nd cycle in order to extract all the goodies. It seems to be a full conduction vaporizer even if hybrid is mentionned on the box, taste will fade pretty quickly except if you get some self control and keep the t° low enough. Fine medium grind works the best. Airflow is slightly larger than my Pax3 but still restricted (not an issue for me).

Abv comes out whole browned using 2x5mn cycles (405&420) so it seems pretty effective.

Finally i tried once the concentrate insert in concentrate (extract) mode, the experience was very similar to the concentrates insert of the Pax3 does ... flavorfull for 2-3 hits and a lot of hits with faded taste, a sipper experience (but produces a lot more visible vapor than the Lux does!!)

Please, don't hesitate to post your questions, I'm sure I forgotten Something!

ps: battery last 8-10x 5mn cycles.

Customer Service sucks so bad these days. STAY Away from both of these companies.
Good Evening. I going to give a public warning about the Hera 2 Vaperizor. The one I got from VAC was only 14 months old when it started to actually fall in pieces. A very expensive and popular model. I call Tweed and they disowned any warranty and asked me to Call Germany to sort it out. I called, I email to no avail. So I called VAC and got well you know. OK no Problem and through others on this page I call 420 in Kingston to purchase a PAX 3, I was told the Hera 2 was better and it was on sale for 330.00 all in. I go down a couple of days later and purchase one, asked the right question and left. NO ONE SAID all sales final. But understandable, So my New Vape is good and strong for a week or so. Then it would not charge past 75%. I poked around the net and nothing. I send an email to Vapedynamics in California. 3 days later a reply comes. Basically it maybe the charger, So i switch usb wall chargers and it started working Once. Now it will only blink between 87 degress and 89 Degress. I reply to the email with my findings. A day or two go buy and an email comes. Sounds like it maybe something else, will you send the unit back. No problem, How and when and what do I have do while my Vape is gone, As I used as a medical device. 8 days now have passed and no answer, By email or phone. The phone just rings and rings. No Voice mail no nothing. So Today I headed down to 420 in Kingston for assitance. The young lad at the door at first was helpfull. Then the other guy came over, pressed the button and said it works, I said look at the temperture as it was bouncing back in forth. He says yeah nothing I can do, all sales final. I asked him to call the suppler in a bid to help. He looks at me like I was growing a second head, why would I do that. Customer service I replied, he then says something but the body language and attitude, were so obvious that he just didn't care. I got pissed, 2 weeks ago I spent 330.00 for this and your not even sympathic. I promised both companies free advertising so here it is. 420 Kingston's Customer Services sucks plain and simple. Vapedynamics is in the same. Thanks for letting me rant.

@tomrutledge, I am glad to welcome you to FC, but sorry at the same time about the vape and vape seller.

I also want to thank you on behalf of myself and all the people you stopped from falling into the same pit.

I just checked the VD (intentional) site and they say the price is $149?

Thanks to post your bad experience with the VD Customer service, even if the vape seems decent, if the CS is so bad I wouldn't recommand this vape at all!

Please Vapedynamics, take care of @tomrutledge and others customers issues if you don't want to get a bad feedback here.

Hi @tomrutledge try tyo contact this guy I was in contact with: (for now I'll send you the email only by pm but will post it here if they don't move in your favor)
In another hand i can send you a replacement battery they sent to me if you think it might fix your issue (for free if you pay shipping). I'm not affiliated at all with this company but asked them for a testing unit cause I was curious about it!

I haven't recieved a new unit yet but I think today is the day it comes, pending the weather here in Ontario (Ice storm stuff), This is what transpired afterwards. Jae stepped up big time and that i'm a huge fan of. I plan on doing the Open the Box thing by Video and will post that up as well. Stay tuned.

Today (Sunday 8th Apr 2018) at supper time in Ontario the CEO from Vapedynamics called me personally. That alone said something to me and allowed him to speak. Which inturn has automatically put me in a more comfortable situation, which at this point in my life I really need. Jae I no longer need to be formal anymore type of person. So we go back in forth trying to resolve the issue and all through the conversation he is guiding me through the website showing personally who is allowed to sell the product. The store I purchased it from was no where in the companies dbases of even being a contact. Past or Present. As we chatted 'cause that what it became ensured me that he was right on to whats going on. He was able to get me into a position to be relaxed enought to see how and where it got derailed. He gives me some of the initiatives and future plans and I in return gave him what I really liked about his product. It's nice and classy, simple to use, the battery replacement or an option to have a spare with a charger, So ones charging at all times. it's a little bigger then half of pack of King sized smokes, Oil option, The best thing I ever got from a Vape was a tool on a 100.00 one I used it to day I open the Hera 2 box. Little things matter everyone and we're losing that in all aspects of our lives and we need to learn to harness it. So we chatted for a bit and I'm now so comfortable and happy I tell how all this came about. There's emails for the company I purchased it from I'm sending to the BBB when they call me. He's so apologic he's offers a free battery and charger as well as he will personally now send me a new vape first. His only request was for the unit back which he will arrange as well prior to, to see what the problem was. I was floored and so happy for the first time in weeks and weeks. I offer 2 suggestions to him - Auto reply on email, it shows you recieved the email and on the auto reply if your going to be gone for an extra long time. When your pissed minutes are like days no matter what the cause. The he stated that the Company Policy is the price of the unit for consumers is 149.99 US. So because of this and my focused anger I know have the knowledge that in Ontario that is Illegal. So now this is a bigger hole for 420 Kingston. Whom sent me an email stating "Our staff are fearful of your volatile behaviour. Further communication from you is considered harassment, and the proper authorities will be notified." Ok anyone knows me well enough that for what ever reason, most likely self preservation some one trained me to the investigator level in harrassment. I still keep up with current policies. and Seriously think that I'm that I would even step foot in that place again I'm telling people quite publically and under my real name to stay away. and I was even courtious enough to ask them to reword the email and resend. So I went out for hours and had a great experience which help as well. I open my email man it was even clearer that something was amiss. Sorry to be long winded yet again but I'm so happy Vapedynamics stepped up to bat, even after some firm standings in pervious emails. Even from an what looks like an unauthorized dealer that gouges the medical users cause it's not legal yet. is it? It could be grey market or counterfiet and he could say tough titty said the kitty, but he didn't and I while I was typing this out, I got a follow up email Just as a pleasantry

Looks like the manufacturer take care of its customers, that's good.

This manufacturer asked me why it's so difficult to get a good feedback on FC... I replied it's a community of connoisseurs and medical users and we are eager of informations about vaporizers components and technology. We can't only tell how amazing is a device since there is a lot of amazing devices in regards of everybodies situations and liking.

It seems a better mp is in plan since I told them I dislike the plastic used...maybe a glass or ceramic one!

I'm curious to know the opinion of my best friend which will be here soon, he's a vaporist since I gifted him some vapes I didn't used but , in fact, he doesn't vape weed a lot but he bought a ecig after that to try to quit Tobacco, so that's nice!

Yesterday I shared some hours with some guys and all of them was impressed by vaporizers, they didn't know anything about them except somebody mentionned to seen a Volcano ...one day! I had 3 vapes with me, Hera2, Fog and Torch by TopBond and it looks like peoples likes a lot the Hera2 cause the touch screen but they enjoyed a lot the others vaporizers too. Although it's crazy to know they found the cost of the Torch even too high and doesn't seems ready to spend more than 50€... I tried to explain them how rewarded they will be but, sometimes, peoples are difficult to convince. Maybe one or two of them will join the nation in the clouds!

Here some more feedback after weeks/month of use. Still not a daily driver but I have a ton of others vapes although it's used 2/3 times per week on the go and sometime to sip on the corner!

It pulls out bigger clouds than my Pax3 was producing and doesn't stink at all but I don't have the best taste/smell around... flavors are nice if you stay below the 210°C range.

Like a lot of others vapes manufacturers claims(starry, fury, Novae,...), the hybrid heating element looks like a conduction based device, that's all but it works well.

Noticed it charge better using my computer than a usb wall charger. With the wall charger it never charge full and the charger remains very hot... with computer it charge until the 100% bar.

When you touch it while off it happens it buzz and blink showing battery status.... idk if it's a feature but it's pretty annoying cause it can happens everywhere.

Not a bad call if you can find one on sale under the initial price but there is a lot of others good (best?) choices under the 150$ range... that's why we don't see a lot of users posts here...

Ya, my H2 temp numbers are whacky too, scored a lot of extra batteries, now a waste if I do not buy another Hera...

Hera 2 is an absolute piece of garbage, as well as their customer service. They are ripping folks off tbh, I bought this one because of the removable batteries. Some of the batteries were actually too short to work in it from their factory and had to use foil for continuity. Five batteries were wasted because the unit, although I looked after it very well went to crap with numbers, and temp controls jumping all over the place. Do not waste your money folks. I did not hear one peep from them in months, a dreadful lot to TRY t deal with. Cheers...Bought a PAX, all good.

Yeah they suck badly, I tried to warn you guys. Their CeraWax 510 attachment works surprisingly well (albeit it's not without its quirks and issues) but the rest is quite terrible.

I got my CeraWax bundled for free when they sent me the VapeDynamics Duo unit to review so I kept it and still use it often. But the Duo itself was a disaster, shock-full of that ignominious white silicone bonding glue, it reeked to high heavens and was absolutely not safe to inhale from. Made me wonder if they really tested their product or not.
