Boundless Tera

To many people, including myself, the Mighty stands for the benchmark of portable vaporizers regarding its power, very even ABV and the thick clouds. Personally I have never tested any stronger portable vape than the Mighty, it even hits way harder than my desktop Arizer EQ4. Thats why so many people were hoping that the Tera could be an even mightier device than the Mighty itself ;).
The price says nothing imo, S&B produces in Germany while the Boundless units, like most other vapes, too, are being produced in China. Thats not negative, iPhones are being produced in China, too, just may explain the price differences a little (not the price differences between the iPhone and Android phones, though lol)!

I guess for people who prefer convection units the Tera could be the perfect device. In my opinion the magnetic swappable mouthpieces are the shit + the extremely nice feature to swap the batteries as well. But if this vape is not actually hitting harder than my Mighty does, unfortunately I will need to keep waiting for another inofficial Mighty 2 :/.
It is nice to hear that the S&B dosing capsules fit perfectly in the Tera. Wondering if that will add a little bit to the condition maybe?
Waiting to hear reviews with the capsules too now!

That love for the S&B devices will always stay a mystery for me. The Mighty and the Crafty are the two biggest disappointments of my vaporizer life. I owned them both, tried several models of other people (because I thought that maybe just my devices are somehow faulty). But I never liked them at all. Nothing about them...

Isn't it wonderful how much people and their taste differ? :)
Exactly, one of the reasons I love that there is so much variety among vapes. The perfect one for one person, may be completely wrong for the next. Makes it fun to try new ones!

Can someone with knowledge of 18650's tell us what which ones are safe to use with the Tera? Would love to get some backups for my external charger!

Not only the Storz & Bickel dosing capsules fit ;)

Yes, S&B set the bar with their devices, but you cannot compare the two. Not really.
S&B have been doing this longer than anyone else. It's produced and R&D'd in Germany. It's one of the few company's who have (some) of their devices certified for medical uses. They are know as one of the firsts, and one of the bests, and you don't just get there overnight.

It's like saying your sports car isn't as good as a bugatti veyron, or iPhone vs Android. They each have their own uses and style depending on the person.

If you want a next to medical grade device, with great flavour extraction then get a Mighty. If you want a good device, one that gets you from A to B, but aren't looking at $350 but $200 then get a Boundless product (lets not forget, the Mighty was what, $400-500 when it first came out. The CFX was almost half the price, with 80% the performance (most peeps say around 90%).

People get themselves hyped, and start saying "mighty killer" (we had this with the CFX, CFV and now Tera). Reminds me of all the "iPhone killer" phase from a few years ago. Any android phone that was hyped, automatically got the tag of "iPhone killer" regardless if the manufacturer was claiming it to be or not.

That love for the S&B devices will always stay a mystery for me. The Mighty and the Crafty are the two biggest disappointments of my vaporizer life. This is what I'm saying fam!

Each to their own, and I honestly think vaping herb and the style of extraction is total down to person and what they want.

I found my love in the CFX because I love using it through water, another friends of mine (whilst he liked the CFX), prefers smoking a spliff (which is why the VC is on my list, as I hear that's a good one for people who enjoy smoking).

I'm pretty familar with 18650's. Personally my choice for a LONG time now has been the LG HG2 3000mah batteries (brown wrapper).

They're always been super reliable and long lasting for my units.
MAKE SURE you order from a reputable source and NOT from eBay, amazon, etc. You'll end up with counterfeit rewrapped batteries which are NO bueno!
Not only will you get a shitty battery, but it could possibly be DANGEROUS also. Cheap batteries tend to vent.

Anyway, if you basically stick to genuine LG, Samsung, and Sony you'll be fine. Once again, personally, I recommend the brown label LG HG2 3000mah.

Here's a couple RELIABLE dealers, again, don't skimp here to save a buck or two per battery.:
(I put the current price of the LG battery I like in parenthesis for comparison and convenience, didnt check shipping or coupons though.)

http://www.rtdvapor.com/ ($6.89)
http://www.illumn.com/ ($6.50)
https://www.imrbatteries.com/ ($6.50)
http://liionwholesale.com/ ($6.14)

Hope it helps!
If you're realllly into battery tech and comparisons, you'll go down a rabbit hole looking at mooch reviews and analysis.....

You'll learn WAY more about batteries and battery tech than you'll ever need, but I find it a bit fascinating. Lots of info and reviews if you're ready! lol

Have a great morning!

Somebody here who is thinking like me and troy from 420vapezone about fucking rubberrized son of a bitch gum on the outside of a vaporizer.
I think every vape have to withstand alcohols!!!
Resins have all alcohols in it, doesn't matter if it are resins from a tree or from weed, they all have alcohols and terpenes in it.
If it is the same bullshit like at the CFV or the Swift Pro i would like to rape the ones face who had the idea to use such a material.
I am sry but that drives me crazy!
Why not using only aluminum or plastic like the mighty or the alternate?
Don't misunderstand me, I like boundless and been waiting so long for the tera.
I would pay 50 $ more to have an alcohol/resin resistant outside even if I could simply not touch it with sticky fingers on the rubberrized parts because i know about this fail since I touched my swift pro with sticky fingers.

They are 2500mAh. So there is a possibility that the LG HG2's are safe to use?

If they are 2500mAh then they most likely are 20A CDR cells, most probably Samsung 25R, LG HE2 or HE4, Sony VTC5.

Using a 3000mAh cell might or might not work depending on how much they push them. HG2, 30Q and VTC6 are really only 18A CDR cells in practice, they have slightly higher internal resistance compared to the real 20A cells cited above.

You might try but then after a long session, remove the cells and check how warm or hot they are. If they are getting borderline hot or uncomfortable to hold it's a sign the load is exceeding their rating. Otherwise should be good.

These came up similar to bndls baths with the Tera. Same specs anyway...I think I've got a pair Argo he to have charged while I wait for bndls to chatge.

“rape the ones face” really?
Wtf is wrong with you for even saying such a horrid thing???
You should be kicked off the forum completely and permanently scumbag.
No, I’m not joking or kidding around. Truly dispicable person. ‍♂️
Sickening.
Sry for my bad words but I tell everywhere in europe how great is boundless because i thought they get better constantly while listening to their fans.
I don't have something against rubbers what withstands resins and perhaps no fully 99% alcohol. That would be ok for me even if the rubber withstand only resins and no high percent ISO.
Sry for my words but I am really nice to anybody even if I am talking crazy and you don't have to like me!
So if a rapper says he rapes your face are you believing that he takes it serious?
I hate violence but I think and say everything i want because it is ok if I don't do it, but you are right that was eventually too much.
Everybody who knows me knows i am too nice to anybody. LOVE and PEACE!
For me it isn't ok to sell a coffeemachine where you don't can put coffee on the outside 'cause it destroys it.
So that is my opinion.
I own a flowermate swift pro and i payed 94 Euro what is ok for it.
But if I had payed 160-200 or more Euros for this in my opinion it isn't ok from the producer who plays with my health, what is more bad than my words that hurts nobody's health.
I don't clean with alcohol...got no ISO in my house.
I only got sticky fingers from my weed and resin on it and it is NOT ok that this destroyes the rubberrized outside and the buttons.
If I had payed the full price I would be really pissed on and i think it would be ok to make stress to the manufacturer, who doesn't test his product enough.
And now if it is the same with the new device boundless didn't listen to all customer wishes like troy's.
If it is so, I don't understand why they used no silicon like at the Arizer Go for the outside.
I think the Tera is great but I would prefer the outside from an alternate than the rubberrized finish, if it doesn't withstand my resins.
Please be honest to me!
I am only human and my behavior isn't perfect everytime...Sorry a lot for that

Just stop talking about rape, regardless if YOU mean it literally or not. It is not appropriate on this forum, period, even to make a point. It is NOT acceptable.
If talking about rape with any regard to vaping or a vape company or anything is OK with the mods here, then please remove my account as it is far from OK.

I am sorry for real don't wanted to offend or hurt somebody!!!
For real who knows me knows that I would help anybody against violence.
Maybe i looked too much southpark.
I am really sorry for this but all i wrote about the rubberrized outside is my opinion and critic.
Don't can understand if a rubber isn't withstanding the products what the product is made for, that a manufacturer takes it again for his products...soooooooooooooooo long waiting for the tera and the same reacting rubber issue if it is the same rubber, makes me sad and sick like the price for the mighty without to be able to change batteries.

See, that's all good opinion, just please leave the comments out that could really trigger someone for no reason. Could end up being very hurtful and traumatic for many, and while i don't know you, I'm sure you're an OK person that just didn't realize how that comparison can relly cause issues for people.... ANyway, back on topic!
Stay cool!

Wel, I opened it and yeah, feels nice and solid in the hand. Loving the glass mouthpiece, haven’t tried the swivel mouthpiece (probably won’t use it). I’m not thrilled with the way the WPA fits. Wish it was threaded instead of just fitting in by friction.

The news about the WPA does suck (to me at least, anyway). I'm not normally a fan of magnets holding things together nether, mostly because I tend to knock things over >.<

From memory, ArGo cells might not be up to the task, you might damage them (ArGo is low power like most Arizer units)

SE US18650VTC4

VTC4 is probably overkill but a very good cell. Should work but give you slightly lower run-time with maybe faster heat-up time in return.

I have the LG HE2 or 4 in mind, or would you say that one of the others (Samsung, Sony) is preferable?

All 3 are good. Some prefer the VTC5 because it sags less (more oomph) but it's marginally pricier. Shouldn't make much difference in a temperature controlled vape like the Tera.

I got HE2, HE4 and 25R, can't really tell any difference.

My VAS thanks your teasing so much !
The fact that Storz&Bickel capsules fit in the Tera is a big bonus Imo!

How does it vape compared to the Fury 2? (Besides battery capacity, of course !)
