I think he's wondering if those that pre-ordered with incentives and all, but won't get their shipment much later, such as if someone pre-ordered today, would they be getting the device with all the fixes? So, they would get their device around April or so with all the fixes AND the free upgrade. While he just gets a free upgrade, but with errors.

I can see your pics. I logged in to my gmail account and didn't sign out before browsing elsewhere.

I think it's pretty crazy to knowingly ship paying customers vapes with QC/tolerance issues, especially after a two year development and testing process.

Yeah we may have rushed this first wave shipment. Not all items had this issue so i assume that A handful of people have units with cosmetic impurities and we will take care of those customers as i explained. Nobody else is getting units till April.

To post images on FC they must be hosted on an external site that allows public viewing. Most of us use imgur.com. Please read http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/how-to-post-pictures.155/.

From imgur this time, so hopefully y'all see. This is just from one chamber. 2 sessions already on the same herb, on the lowest preset, since I can't download the app yet. Not really getting much of a visual vapor, but the effect comes incredibly fast. Much better results than my Da Budda and Arizer Solo. Used a coffee grinder kind of fineness. The chambers are filled maybe halfway up at the most. Definitely an awesome vape, a portable at that. This is going to be an ultimate money saver. Is stirring necessary with the square? That would be a downer.

You never said anything about taking care of them. You said in turn they would have to waste the upgrade that should have been able to be used on something significant like the Dual had(v2.5/v3) not because you rushed production.

? The upgrade covers any new version of the Square that comes out, so how is it wasted? This is still true... Like getting any defective unit

I think that this thread should be designated to product information rather than service/shipment/upgrade etc inquiries. I already responded with our intentions and the course of action. It's early, but I've not stirred once. It's not the most even depending on how you grind/pack/load, but I've been very happy with the results. This extracts really well.

I will also add that this is not a vape I would consider stirring. It's easy to open if at a table, but you're opening a pressure fit silicone seal with four chambers inside, I see room for mishaps. It's good I feel no need to.

I've had it for twenty four hours and I'm guessing ran three times my normal daily thru it, for you guys of course! And I can say that it really feels easy to use. I think it's going to be very popular.

So, on fourth session so far. Battery life is Orange, which manual says means under 35%. All on lowest temp. Though I also breathe in until the device vibrates once and turns off the heat, which says it's a safety feature for when it gets too hot. So, I hold it down for the max given 15 seconds. Device does remain on though.

Device is also warm. It's like one of them hand warmers people use during the winter.

So some % under 35 to full took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to charge. This was from my Google Pixel 2 usb-c charger. The charger they supply does not have a label on it to show voltage and such. I will try it though to see if it's quicker.

I have had mine for two days now. I’ve run into some issues, but @Haze Vaporizers has been EXTREMELY responsive and things are moving in the right direction.

A quick summary of the main issue - it was combusting. They sent me a file to upgrade the firmware (is that the right term?), and it has helped quite a bit.
A few issues still need to be straightened out, but I don’t want to bother putting them up here, because I am sure they are working on it (been giving them detailed issues in PM”s).

I am not sorry at all that I got one that isn’t perfect. I mean, sure it would have been great if it worked straight out of the gate, but in my experience, that rarely happens with early adopters. When I saw the free upgrade for preorders, in my head that meant there was a good chance these would need tweaking and in turn for our patience, we’d get an upgrade when it was perfected.

I won’t go into detail for another day or two about the vape while they work out some of the kinks and I get more time with it to give it a fair assessment.
I will say that mine had the same cosmetic issues. I am also a little OCD and it bugs me a little, but I can get over that.
Oh, and the + - buttons are really hard to see if you have bad /old eyes = @Haze Vaporizers , please take note of that!
Their CS has been excellent and I am very confident they will be able to make this a great vape with a few tweaks.

Happy to answer any questions - but like I said, I can’t give a complete assessment yet.

Sorry if I’m rambling, I have been vaping a lot more than normal... one for the team!!

So opening up yesterday, I saw the ceramic have some gray on it. Looks like the coil is touching it on the left side, since the ceramic piece is misaligned. I then turned up the heat and the whole center ceramic piece turned dark. It's probably nothing to worry about. https://imgur.com/a/vjBuZ

Anyone elses Square combusting constantly? 3 bowls all combusted never set above 410. My first 2 combusted at 390 after 2 or 3 draws my last one combusted on 1st hit at 360. Also why are the + and - backwards? When set to default settings on pc app the device starts on the lowest temp yet to go up in temps(toward red light) you click - instead of +.

@ToxicVape Yes, I was having same issue. You need to reach out to @Haze Vaporizers. They have firmware that will help.

@Haze Vaporizers I think my + and - might be reversed as well, but how can I tell if the preset colors are all white?

Once you download the app and connect it to the computer, it will show you all the temps and colors assigned.

I also reversed the direction of the temps so that hitting the "+" does indeed move to an increased temp.

Anyone here waiting for the Pro realize that there’s only a Windows based app for it prior to pre ordering it? The PITA bout it is that we’re an Apple based house hold. No Windows machine anywhere. <sigh>

Run a Virtual Machine, or send me your Square and I'll update it for you

I think they are already working on both android and mac versions, they mentioned that a few pages back...

Is the app PC only or is there a Mac version?
