Well, excepted Smiss is not a small company and it's what, their 20th or more vaporizer? And I'm only counting those where the affiliation was open, they have been and still are OEM/ODM for several other brands. And that's only for their vape division, they also do e-cigs primarily.
Doesn't mean they can't screw up of course, but don't compare them to newcomers on the market.

I would like to apologize if it seemed I was trash talking Boundless, I’m not. My philosophy of never buying something right after it comes out applys to everything.
The thing about companies using early adopters as beta testers was a generalization about tech companies in general. I see it too often.

The Vivant alternate had issues with the top cap and top cap molding. But they were very responsive and worked quickly to fix the issues. But it did suck that it happened. Could have been a great budget vape

I wonder if Smiss/Flowermate will be releasing a SwiftPro 2 aka CFV 2 aka Tera??? The CFV and SwiftPro were the same vape but different shell and few minor things but same internals, so I am wondering if they have plans for a beast Convection unit like the Tera or is it only BNDLS? I noticed they are supposed to be releasing the V5 Nano but that's just another Conduction vape like the other Flowermates but smaller and with a removable Battery.
I would also recommend the Ghost MV1, its been my go to vape since I've received it! I love my Grasshoppers and if they had a slightly longer vapor path and less awkward on/off it would be my go to vape. The Viviant Alternate is a really nice deal and works great. Vivant has been really good to me and every time there was an updated Mouthpiece they sent them out for free and the latest version is completely different and takes care of the melt/hot to touch mouthpiece issue, which I never experienced in the first place but its a much better/higher quality mouthpiece now.
I am assuming we'll be waiting another month for the Tera or until C.N.Y. ends....?

Nope unfortunately no SwiftPro2. And I don't think there will be any FM version of the CFX2 either (the one with the variable conduction vs convection ratio)
I asked my contact if I could test the Tera and she said that they are not allowed to issue sample units for the Boundless range, the US company handles the testing phase internally. She invited me to ask them directly though, but I'm under the impression they do things differently.
As for the CNY thing, the problem is that the Chinese culture has this foreign to us notion of "not losing face": they avoid to say "no" in order to not disappoint. For instance at work we had a supplier assuring us they would ship our order before the 10th, and time passed and passed and now we have to come to the evidence, they failed us lol.
We should be fixed with the next Boundless update, but I'm not holding my breath...

You have a higher chance of being satisfied (now) with a Fury 2 since they have had a longer time to find and fix any problems.
I agree with @Boden given a few months to iron out the issues the Tera should be great. If you want something NOW? get the Fury2

Did some research in Chinese New Year for those new to the holiday that begins on 2/16.
“Typically, Chinese offices and factories close for about three working weeks, allowing workers time to travel back home to spend the holiday with their families.”
“Although CNY officially only lasts for one week, many factories and businesses shut down about 10 days before CNY to allow time for workers to travel home.“
“There is always a mad rush to ship product out of ports before the country shuts down. This can lead to increased freight costs and longer transit times if there is a delay at port or a container is not loaded on its intended vessel.”
“In 2015, an estimated 80 million workers, the majority in urban areas along China’s coast, traveled by road, train and plane back to their rural hometowns during CNY.”

I have been updated that the Tera pre-orders and distributor units have left our factory. They are currently in transit and appears to still be overseas at the moment. Updates will be provided along the way!
Once the units arrive at our office in Ontario, California the pre-orders will then be shipped and tracking numbers will be provided for those customers. Unfortunately, we will only have stock for the pre-order customers this shipment but I believe our distributors should be receiving their shipments around the same time we do if not shortly after. We will not be offering the CFV upgrade this round of shipment and plan to begin the process once we have a complete stock of the Tera.

To be fair, a similar twist happened to us: when we thought it was completely compromised and almost ready to order urgently from a backup source, our Chinese supplier contacted us at the last minute this weekend to confirm our shipment was already in transit.
So they didn't fail us. Seems you got a similar happy ending @Boundless Vape Technology, good news for you and the pre-order crowd!
