Help! Visiting California Today -- Where are there walk-ins?

So, I'm flying to CA later today and will be driving up from LA to Santa Barbara. I'm used to flying into Seattle and easily locating a dispensary where I can stop in and pick something up.

I'm searching and can only find medical dispensaries or places that deliver (next day). Is there an option for walk-in recreational between LAX and SB?

Go to weedmaps and look. One close to LAX (I don't vouch for it, I just searched.):

Just search the web man that's how I found several places in San Francisco. Search recreational MJ that way you don't have to worry about any cards or anything just have a valid photo ID like a driver's license. Course ya got to be 21 as well. Maybe once you get online info you can call a place and double-check as many places are still in a transition. I found that out the hard way when I went Sparcs in the "Mission District" of San Francisco. I was riding my mt. bike so locations matter. Of the 4 Sparc locations, I did not see online that the Mission was the only Sparcs not open for recreational MJ yet, in transistion.

Anyway I got lucky as the security guards pointed me to another place on the same side of the street not even a block away, think they were called Rx Leaf or somethin'. So I picked up two cartridges of "Heavy Hitters", BLUE DREAM(THC 85%) and SOUR DIESEL(THC 86%). I did all this from info from my iPad.

Just use dat phone of yours and da net and do your homework, especially maybe calling a place before you go. Hope that helps. Sayonara.

Sorry, too late to avoid double posting. Medmen worked out great. Didn’t have the flower selection I’ve seen in Seattle but it was well stocked and the help was quite good. They take cash or credit and aren’t more than 2-3 miles from the LAX car rental facility.

They explained that the recreational is rolling out by county, starting from the south. You are unlikely to find recreational walk-ins (med adding rec?) north of OC at this point.

Hey @Mr Mellish

I'm gonna be in your situation come sunday. Landing in LAX. Was MedMen the best place you recommend? If anyone in LA area can offer me advice, please pm me.

Hey @buckhakeesah,

It's the only place I'm aware of but it is super convenient to LAX. Good staff and an interesting selection. Seemed a little pricey but I thought the same thing in Seattle. Taxes means more expensive...

If it were me, I'd go there just to check it out. Once you get north of LA, you'll have trouble unless you want to use the delivery services, which cost you a day. I'm an instant gratification kind of guy.
