Eclipse Vape Pipe

the shorter vials are what generally come with and also get used with the eclipse.
I like the taller ones best....
it gives you more room to work and to play with the heat.
It allows better control also.
The 1/2 dram vials are very tight quarters to work in, but you can preload a couple and they are smaller to carry around.
I still prefer the 1 dram vials for personal use.

did anyone used it with plant matter? my brother has one he almost never uses. as i was over at his place by yesterday and kindly refused to partake in a joint session, he offered me to use the vape pipe. i heated the vial, keeping the flame as far as possible from the herbs and then slowly inhaled. not sure, if it was the right technique, but i got two or three decent hits. the flavor was enjoyable. the subsequent hits didn't produce a lot of visual vapor though. i don't really know, what to think of the unit, somehow. it seems to be good craftmanship and gets you high, apparently, but seems not to be the easiest one to operate. but maybe it's just my lack of experience.

Yes, I have used the eclipse for herb.
this definitely works best with the taller vial.
The function of the eclipse used in this manner duplicates the Ubie (glass flame based vape)...
which was designed to emulate the Light Bulb Vaporizer.

Once one has the hang of heating the glass just enough, this manner if conductive vaping is very flavorful!

@Vitolo, with so many vapes to choose, do you still use it? i was kind of affraid to overheat the glass. :)

I've found it works okay with herb but it's nearly impossible to vape it evenly. Imo it's definitely best for oils. There are much better vaporizers for herbs.

wouldn't be my first choice either. he got ill-adviced at the local headshop, since oils are not common around here.

@axakal You don't have to worry about heating up the glass with a common soft flame or small torch lighter, it can take a lot of heat with no problem.
The eclipse can give you some big hits with flowers but you have to push close to combustion, you can use pretty much the same techniques as the Vaponic

the pushing close to combustion part is what i don't really like. :) he probably is going to sell it, unless he manages somehow to use it with oils.

I use it to vape stubborn drops of concentrate (the eclipse)
If you meant the lightbulb..... no... I don't often use it, just when someone says that it does not work well, I pull one out.
The glass on the vials is heat safe, for the most part.... and you will be heating it for herb even less than the heat used for oils.

@RUDE BOY

which technique do you mean for the vaponic? heat, inhale, heat some more, inhale, heating....
(I try to stack up heat to increase temperature every cycle.. how do you do?)
And did you found any method to use the vaponic with a water piece?

@Phenix with the Vaponic I use pretty much the same technique as I use with the Vapman(I use the vapman torch with all my butane vapes.) except I double the heating time from 4 seconds to 8 seconds. I usually do 8 seconds of heat then a couple seconds off followed by 8 seconds heat for the first hit which is mostly only flavor and no exhaled vapor and then heat for 8-10 seconds for each following hit. This way it takes me a few hits before I get bigger clouds and it stretches out the session a bit.

For the eclipse vape I never got the timing down with flower so I seemed to at least char it every time if not just flat out got smoke instead of vapor... so it didn't get used all that much after the first week or so. I did get some neat glass pieces(adapters) with this if i remember correctly. I know I got it for a crazy low price at the time but it's been a few years now.
