I broke down after all the positive comments yesterday and ordered the Pro. Not one truly negative comment by beta testers so far!!!
I really wanted you guys to say it’s “ok” and save myself $250CDN + whatever possible taxes are added on.

THANKS A LOT GUYS!!!! ;)

I'm always a little nervous touting something out of the gate and am also glad to hear the other team members' comments. We didn't communicate during the testing, which I think was an overall good thing. I'm honestly trying to be reserved in my enthusiasm, because I think it's a really good vape and sure to be a hit. Every vape has it's weaknesses, and I'm interested to see where this one's end up being after some time in the market. My guess is battery life. I kept saying it has to be able to do all four bowls on a single charge, and I think it will for flowers. We will see with concentrates. But the reason it uses so much energy is because the bowls are big. Even if it barely makes it through four bowls, that is a lot of herbs! I also think they nailed it with UCB-C charging on the Pro model. This alone would make the upgrade worth it to me.

No need to microdose with on-demand vapes...just come back to that bowl later when you want a hit. So I always fill the bowls up and go that route.

What this vape doesn't lack is clouds. I get bigger clouds quicker with this portable than with most others.

What's really shocking is the low price. This vape has features few others have, and at least one that no other has, and it's priced right in the middle with the others. Both models are considerably less than the ArGo, which is just a repacking of a 6 year old vape tech (that works great, but does it need to be that expensive?). I think, at the end of the day, when this vape is next to others in its price range the choice will be pretty easy in favor of the Haze.

Don’t forget about this part of the pre order. How do you beat that combined with all the love pouring out for it right now.

I could only get about 3 and a half bowls from my testing, but I'm kinda greedy when testing. Some users will surely get more than that, but others may not get through all four bowls without a re-charge. As always, YMMV.

Yeah, the price point really surprised me as well. I'm usually surprised when I hear the price of a new vape, but for different reasons. This is a bargain IMO.

Fuck, seems like the perfect travel companion. Wasn't sure about if buying it or not but seems to be everything I was expecting from the FF2 + 4 bowls.

I'm sure the cleaning is gonna require a bit of an effort, but looks like it's gonna be worth it.

I'm sure the cleaning is gonna require a bit of an effort, but looks like it's gonna be worth it.

Standard maintenance is really just a wipe of the pods and lid with alcohol prep pads.

Otherwise it will just require a quick disassembly and alcohol bath every so often for the deep clean...it's really not too bad.

The only hitch to this is with a four chamber vape you don't really want to dump the load after the session because there may be other full loads there. Don't get me wrong, it can be easily done by popping out the single pod but it's really nice to just leave it full and rotate on to the next pod. But anyone who has owned vaporizers for a while knows that dumping the load right away is generally good practice to help from dealing with sticky ABV. You have to make a choice with this vape and I've tried it both ways. Normally I just leave the spent load until all four are spent which equates to a bit more cleaning effort later.

Can we get some clarity on this? Towards the beginning of this thread, I thought I read that the upgrade program may not apply and is in consideration for 2018. If it does apply for us who preorder, is it just a firmware upgrade or a chance to upgrade to the newest version, if they were to change things up? I admit, it didn't sway my decision to buy, but it would be huge plus if its a replacement to the newest version of Haze Square.

I apologize in advance if this was already covered by early reviewers. Tried to search...

How much does it it smell with 4 fresh bowls in there? Smell proof case likely required for on the go?

I believe someone said the only opening is the hole where the mouth piece is inserted. So you get some smell but could be worse. Guess you could always find a cork or stopper that fits?

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
I've been playing around with this as well.

I know everyone has been waiting a while for this and I'm happy to tell you I think the wait will pay off.

I have used this in all kinds of situations. Road trips, camping, movies, to the park, on a walk, to the beach, you name it, the Square is there.

Loading up four chambers and not having to deal with reloading and such is so convenient. Push button vapor is the main way I vape nowadays so loving that as well.

Taste is excellent and what you should expect from on demand convection IMO. Is Firefly really still the standard? I have a FF1 and had a FF2 on loan for a while. I don't even think either is as good in the taste department as some of my other push buttons favorites like the Milaana, Zion, Splinter and Tubo. Is the Square on level with those? It can be depending on your temps. Taste is so subjective anyway....

And yeah vapor producution is not a problem and either is even ABV which is a major focus of the unit. I tested a lot of different can and lid configurations before landing in the ones they are using.

I know folks have asked about running it through water. I am sure it's possible and Haze will make a WPA but I have not done it and don't plan to honestly. I just don't think it requires it. The vapor is pretty cool despite the short airpath. Kinda like the FF actually. Lol. That's another I never felt the need to run through water.

I have tried the concentrate pads with and without the silicone lids and I think I prefer it without. It makes a bit more of a mess on the lid but it's worth it In my opinion. I keep one chamber dedicated to trates and put herb in the others.

I'll come back and add some more thoughts when it's not so late but I wanted to stop by and congratulate @Haze Vaporizers . I think you have a winner here and have done well with the performance and options the Square offers. Especially at this price point!

Thanks for allowing me to test and provide input. It was fun!

(The real reason I pre ordered? As if I needed another one! :ko:)

As I understand it, this is a separate thing from the standard haze upgrade program they do with the dual. This is just for anyone who pre orders, that if a new version of the square is released, we will be able to upgrade for free (just like how beta testers will be getting production models now as well) I believe there was also a free cleaning dish included for soaking the lid in

I am a sucker for your love. I had to buy. I have read almost every post on this product, before and after the new designs. I may be your next avid consumer, and I am excited to try it, I can say it looks promising. My order has been placed. Now, the wait..............
I had originally placed my sights on a different Haze product, but, when I saw this, my mouth watered.

Can someone put photos of it close to other vapes? Would be cool to see a size comparison with a Milaana :)

Sorry, I don't have a Milaana, but this pic should give you a few other points of reference.

Fun fact: The Square is the heaviest of all the vapes in this picture at just under 10oz.

So I've seen that the battery is user replaceable so you have to pop open the unit to change it. I was wondering if its a standard battery or some kind of proprietary pack? TIA

Haze will sell the the batteries as part of their accessory line up and they are not 18650 due to the power requirements from what I gather.
The battery is changed by removing a cover with a screw, and apparently it would have compromised the size if they had made it faster to swap out, so everything points to it being an easy to DIY replace, proprietary battery pack, probably with a real good price too!

R.I.P every portable that's more expensive than this one!
And a few that are cheaper!

We specifically made all replacements easy. Coil, battery, seals etc. As soon as i can, i will make a video for you all to see. And all replacements are available when needed. We wanted this unit to be a hassle free companion to its users without breaking the bank.

Just that dude
How slow do you have to breathe in with a temp on the high 300's? Like any other convection vape? Or could you treat it like a blunt/joint?

High Tech, Low Tech. They both have a place in my collection.

This should give you some perspective. As far as thickness goes, the Milaana is a little under.

You can huff on it pretty good. I hope that answers your question.
