Part of the criteria for me was being able to find a quality vape at a local shop, and both the V-Tower and Extreme are available to me locally. Thanks for the link on the discounts though, had I been looking to go that route I would surely make use of that thread.


I am a N00b when it comes to vaporizing, and this will be my first vape. Therefore, I'm not sure at this point, if I will want to fill bags, or just use the whip.

Rough guess

70 % bags (Watch the screens, when they get resiny the bag doesn't fill very well, if you use this keep ur screens clean)
20% Whip (bowl) Non-fan assist
5% Whip (Elbow Method)
5% or less Whip (bowl) Fan Assist
This is after owning the E for 4 months and and roughly 8 oz running through it Im curious about others.

I've had my E just about 4 months now as well and I'd say I'm at.

80% Whip Elbow
15% bags (often using elbow as well)
5% Load the bowl and elbow and fuckinnn rip it usually throw some fan use in there too.

Now I've got a guy that is selling his vaporbrothers for relatively cheap, what would be the major difference between that and either the tower or the extreme?

Apologies for the double post.

So I went down to the local shop today to pick up the extreme. Got in there and the guy was out of stock, so I asked when it would be in. The dude tells me Friday which I thought to be fine. He then proceeds to tell me how good his prices were. He says he used to charge 350 for it but now only charges 309. I tell him that I can find it right now for 299 with free shipping. He tells me he will match that, so I walk out of there feeling good... ready to get my vape on Friday for 299+tax.

I came home and decided to do one last internet shop, and found the vape using the thread here, for 259 with free shipping. I thought I should be courteous and tell the local shop dude that I had found it for a cheaper price... also to see if he wanted to match that price, and if so I would still buy from him.

Well I called him up and told him that I had found it for a cheaper price. His reply was this "Go buy it then" and then hung up on me. This fucking prick decided to hang up on me.

I was very polite on the phone and was just trying to be courteous to the man, and he up and decided hes going to be an absolute jack ass... Well, long story short I wont be going to that shop ever again.

On the happy side, I ordered my Extreme today for 259 with free shipping, and it will be here on friday. Im fuckin stoked.

Congrats on the vape, the scammer eh? I got mine for 269 CDN on eBay from the maker, so at least if any extra profit is made it goes were it belongs. Love this vape :brow:

I got mine from rockwise.net

Theyre located in Waterloo which is only a few hours south of me so it works out well.

Im pretty excited to try this thing out... Hopefully I get lucky and it ships faster than expected.

Yeah the fucking scammer... the worst part was when he fuckin hung up on me. How fucking unprofessional. He just lost all my business and all business from everyone I know... Hope hes cool with that lol

All for acting like an asshole.

Oh yeah dude I know... mine for 259 with tax came to like 290.

Still it was 50 bones cheaper than what the shop was offering.

Oh well, I got hosed on the tax.

Shit happens.

Still glad I ordered it from them rather than getting it from that cock sucker of a shop owner.

On Arizer's site you see the Extreme priced at $350 retail-on sale for $299. In reality $299 is the retail price. Never seen it for any more than that on-line anywhere. And when it first came out last year, Arizer was selling 'em for $250 all day, every day on eBay. As sales increased, you didn't see 'em that cheap from him, but others had and still have good prices on 'buy it now' auctions.

For the most part, brick and mortar stores are gonna have higher prices due to higher overhead. Gotta pay the rent and the power company. But it would be tough to sell many at $350 since they've always been about a hundred less than that if you shop around on-line. There's nothing wrong with trying to get a better price locally. He already dropped it once. The guy who hung up on you should have been explaining higher overhead, offering local support if anything was broken out of the box or just DOA. He should have been offering whatever he could as a local merchant and asking you to support a small, local business in hard times. But instead he immediately gave up on the sale and made sure you'd never recommend his shop to anyone else. A perfect example of a poor businessman. :/

Thats exactly it. Childish behaviour cost him not only a 290 dollar sale ++ whatever else I would happen to buy from him, but also any business from my friends (and Ive got a lot of em).

Pure shortsightedness on the whole thing. But whatever... his loss my gain. Theres another shop literally a block away if I need anything in the future.

Incidentally not great service there either, but Ive never been hung up on. lol

he told me he could get me a vape better than the volcano for half the price. he then showed me the instructional video of the extreme on youtube. needless to say i was sold.

The only other smoke shop near me has complete waste cases running it. They're so burnt in there it's ridiculous.


In other news, the shipping tracker says my extreme will be here today. Hurray for Canada! Lol

granted its only a couple hour drive though :D

I just want to say hi to all and thanks to many in this thread that have helped me come to my decision about the Extreme. With all the choices out there this forum has really helped and educated me on everything I ever needed to know about vaping. I received my Extreme about three weeks ago and loving it ever since. So thanks again for all the help!:D

I just went thru about 40 pages of scim reading here.

Steve @ Arizer is the MAN!!!!!!! First off, I dont wanna hear anythign about about there Customer Service,

Now my questions are as folllowed.

A) What does everyone recommend for temps for the bag???

B) everyones Recommended or THEIR Fav Temp to Burn at???

c) Do you prefer the Bag or the whip

d) When you smoke do you like to use a Glass Tube to connect to the Tower??

e) What fan Speeds shoul 1 be using with the bag?

These are all personal opinions of course, but:

1) For bag's I use 220 if I just want one bag, 190 if I am going to take two bags.
2) My favorite temp for the Whip non-fan is 185, thick ass hits and lots of em. When the fan is on I go for 200.
3) I love them both. :lol:
4) I dunno what you mean, but if you meant something about the poker that came with it, when I am heating the whip I put the poker's small end into the glass mouth piece for a glass on glass airtight fit. And put the fat end into the tubing for the bags elbow for another airtight fit.
5) Fan speed 3 all the way, bag speed for a reason. :brow:

the worst possible situation has happened to me.

my brand spankin new extreme has been in my hands for and set up... and for the entire time that it has, I have been dry... with no herb expected until later today...

it has been agonizing :lol:

I'm looking to purchase my first every vaporizer. I found some local person selling the extreme vaporizer for a decent price so I'm very excited. :D

I am a bit concerned that it might be a knock off. The remote has different colours than all the pictures I've seen of it. Also it is a quiet a bit cheaper than offered on other websites.

My question is are there knock offs of the extreme vaporizer? Also if someone has a picture of the original box that there extreme came in, that would be awesome.

Ok, so last night I gave my extreme her first bowl...

All I can say is WOW.

I never expected it would be that good. The Extreme got myself and three other people absolutely fucking blasted using a fraction of the herb that it would have taken using another method.

I am so thoroughly impressed with this thing right now its ridiculous.

Used the instructions found in the sticky thread here and it worked amazingly.

I couldnt be happier with my purchase right now!
