I've run my SH all over the map for temperature experiments. These are my faves:

Low 600's for full nug toasting
710 for concentrates
High 700's for quick full extraction hits with fine ground herb.

So yeah... you and @invertedisdead aren't the only high-temp fans!

Of course high-temp hits, along with every other kind, taste better through a glass bowl and hemp fiber screen... I just can't recommend all-glass FlowerPot vaping enough!

Up to 750F and everything has gone really quiet... with a high pitch squeal going on inside my ears!
Micro flower hits are just like a dab for me! Sweats and floaty arms and ahead full of cotton!
Could also be the Tuna Kush AAAA herb that is helping along the way...LOL!

In all my journey's through the vaping world, i have never experienced this!
Pure flavor, medium tan ABV, extreme whitewall and full on effects!

After all my searching, the Showerhead has been the best micro dose vape i have experienced!
Super easy draw, whitewall off 0,05g or less, full extraction for my needs, simple maintenance, easy operation and loading/unloading, works with dry/moist herb, small footprint on desk and zero metallic taste.
I do not foresee anything taking it's place as Daily Driver anytime soon!

Except maybe the Flowerpot Sic Wraparound that is coming soon...LOL!

Lazy Im so glad that you are digging the SH so much now. Man you really had my head spun with your first impressions, I wanted to tell you "you must have it wrong dude, or have I got it so wrong myself in thinking that the Showerhead is such an amazing vaporizer?"

I was puzzled and also fairly disconcerted, questioning my own judgement. No need, just a lttle time needed for you to find the glorious light!

I received the Flower Pot a couple of days ago, but moved slowly because I have no glasses yet (coming next week). I type now with one finger and a magnifying glass to find letters on the keyboard.
Today I assembled and gave it a go.
I am an unlikely candidate for the device because I so rarely use water filtration... maybe twice in a year.
I do have bubblers, though, and so it was a go.
I vaped some flower with the device set to 625, and had a marvelous time. It was more medicating than I imagined it would be.
I used the showerhead for a dab at 750, and found the flavor to be wonderful.
Finally, I went back down to 670, to give Twaxing a shot.
A remarkable experience.
I enjoyed it most with just flower.
I am using the "FlowerPot 18mm Male Body with Handle"
I had some of the best hits I have had in a long time.
I did run into difficulty each time removing the "FlowerPot 18mm Male Body with Handle" from the bubbler
to empty the ABV.
It stayed stuck tight, and in order to dump and prepare next load, I resorted to cooling the outside of the bow with an ice cube, followed by a trip around the female 18mm glass connection with the showerhead/coil..... then using a steady direct upward direction pulling, with the slightest hint of a twist, it came free each time.
If anyone has a secret or hint about that, please post or direct me to the way to make the "FlowerPot 18mm Male Body with Handle" come out to empty more easily.
My experience all in all was very positive.
The tool provides every safety precaution one could need to not get burned.
Solid and weighty tray made me confident while working with the Flower Pot.

Dear @Vitolo A common issue with that bowl for sure. I think @Baron23 has cracked this nut best: rather than fighting the heat-expansion, he uses a cloud-buddy type claisen adapter and removes the whole she-bang to dump the bowl. Seems very safe and easy solution, I know there are pictures but can't find one now, of course! Maybe ask him? That is all I've got Sir. The best solutions I have are almost always belong to someone else, I just try to remember them!

Use a dropdown or 18F-18M glass adapter. Lower (cooler) glass joint will release from your pipe IMMEDIATELY along with the bowl for ABV dump, if you desire.

I use a glass reducer for my bowls. My WT is 18.8mm so i use an 18.8 to 14mm reducer and the Ti bowl sits securely in that. The lip on the glass reducer also stays cool enough to use as a handle to dump the bowl without burning your fingers.
So glad to see you testing this vaporizer out!

Joined the 777F club for a bit!!!
It's just too hot for my throat, no coughing just a sore throat.
Back down to my favorite temp of 631F!

would fit the 20mm auber enail coil. I realized I need to invest in a handle having to take it on it and off constantly.

The auber coils tend to bend downward.

I like to switch to a bigger bong for those higher temp hits. It makes so much vapor that traditional vaporizer bubbler rules go out the window IMO. I quite enjoy hitting flower through a big beaker. Has this old school vs new school vibe I really dig.

The 777 thing really works and hits like a train but at this temp it's too hard for my bronchias. The highest temp they can stand are around 710°.

With a slow draw, i got so thick vapor that i was quite sure i combusted at 710° - i cant really imagine what 777 does but in the name of science i will have to find out

No combustion at all! Amazing cloud production and a nice taste on the first hit but pretty aggressive for the respiratory system too. Would do it more often if I wouldn't have such issues with my bronchias

The Kubeone uses the same pin layout as the D-nail if anyone wanted to know, They only seem to have the 20mm ones in extended life and encased, Not sure if encased would be ok for the Flowerpot so I got extended life.

700 seems to be my limit. It's pretty hardcore and not for everyone. I've since been back all the way down to 550. Using the FP like the Mighty... efficiently and with like five pulls off a bowl instead of one. 700+ is just too devastating before work. Watching shatter drizzle all over my herb as I tap the showercap off is really nice!

I think between 700 to 800 gets you those types of full blown rips. I do 725 on my Mininail but when i use my buddies newvape controller, i have it set to 815. Both uncapped.

I did try 750 but it sorta taste burnt and leaves my ABV almost black on top.

my flowerpot is in the mail! still waiting on d-nail to ship my sic dish and carb cap, but at least i’ll be able to enjoy flower through this monster

I am going to buy a new bubbler as I posted before...

Any updates from @NewVape420 or @NewVape710 regarding the glass bowl? I see some people have found other bowls that work but I'm looking for a permanent solution. Been holding off on buying the kit waiting for it.

Also have anyone else made progress on any inserts for the showerhead?

That is so very true. But what they aren't doing is putting any weight or stress on top of those nails. If you want the FP to sit on top of a quartz bowl,(and we all do) that bowl sure better be designed to take that stress. And..repeated stress. It could break so easily without massive reinforcement. Imagine if you had the FP on top of the quartz bowls you mention... Accidentally knock the handle - just torque it down a lil too much and it could snap the glass, sending the hot FP falling and potentially a hot piece of glass flying.

Wall thickness at the joint is a huge issue - you need it for strength but also it cuts down on ID so your airflow is reduced from current. We can't sacrifice function for the sake of quartz.

I dream of a quartz ShowerHead top...I mean...oh my. Sadly, machining quartz doesn't strengthen it, it weakens it. As a former glass blower I can attest that to obtain the exacting consistency we need for this to work...its damn hard. We could do a quartz bowl, but not one we can firmly stand behind, so its back to the vapelab.

When he stated this, i decided to venture out and drive around SoCal one saturday afternoon looking for a glass bowl for the flowerpot and finally found one that i posted pics of last week.

The taste is better out of glass as hits are smoother but what he stated above is so true. I broke off the handle on two of these glass bowls now. But the bowl hasnt shattered or broke from dropping and still usable just without a handle.

The walls of the bowls are thick and does reduce airflow as stated. With the thicker wall means less bowl area which makes this glass bowl an awesome 1 hitter or microdosing. Also the glass screen reduces airflow and requires you to blow throw it to get out the ABV. With all that said, i still use the glass bowl daily as its just smoother taste. But i cycle between 3 (two clear broken handles and a white/clear) of them as the glass screen gets clogged easily. If i didnt have 3 of these bowls in cycle, my panhead would be used when it gets clogged.

Glass bowl may not be for everyone but for those who choose bottle over can would enjoy the glass bowl.

I wouldnt wait on a glass bowl and would order the Flowerpot with an adjustable bowl. Then look for a glass bowl at a local head shop. I do have 3 new ones that i havent used, two clear and one clear/green. PM me if you are interested. I went back and bought 4 more last week as @Danksta wanted one and i figured ill grab a few extras as these are glass and break.

Good for you! I've done the same thing, and discovered almost identical factors. Glass bowls are AWESOME for high-temp microdosing, as you stated... and I prefer the flavor ALWAYS over the stock Titanium bowl options. One thing though... I've found that using a small folded and pressed Degummed Hemp Fiber "screen" made by hand works FAR better than any glass screen option I've tried... it does not clog as fast, allows better vapor flow, and is easier to dump ABV with. I just empty the bowl, retrieve and shake off little hemp fiber mat, and put it back in the bowl. When roasting full nuggets, I usually go screenless... over a glass star bowl or single-small-center-hole bowl.

I have also found a few glass bowls with correct diameters locally and with internet pipe purchases, and I have not yet broken any of my bowls. I tend to handle them carefully and set the FP down gently onto them, knowing these bowls are (at least for now) a scarce resource.
