Not sure what you mean by session timer but I can set mine to shut off after being on anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes and it gets up to 390F in around 50 seconds which maybe isn't as fast as my Fury but seems faster than most others I've used.

I'm liking my Go a lot and believe she's a keeper. :peace:

What about the ArGo makes you reach for it over the Fury?

Yes it is, by a bit. It's .050 inches against .060 with Solo/Air. But the tube is smaller in diameter, and therefore stronger for the same thickness so I doubt they're much more frail. And as you say, they are almost completely enclosed in service. IMO Solo/Air is a much bigger risk of a stem break in a random drop?

The stems are definitely easier to insert, due in part by the long channel inside that keeps it square to the seals? It's not a direct copy of the Solo/Air, I think there are significant (but small physically) differences. They also seem more perfectly round, some of the Solo/Air ones have a lot of 'roundout'. That is they are several thousandths of an inch bigger one direction than the other, you can feel it rolling it in your fingertips on some. ArGo seems very round, FWIW.

How do you rate the first few hits? I'm still thinking ArGo 'starts slower'. That is it's easier to get to that first few 'best possible' hits (flavor wise) with Solo/Air. I find, I think, the flavor is less intense but spread over more hits? Could be imagination, of course, would love to hear what others find?

To be honest it's getting used more now mainly because it's new.

Battery life along with being able to have an extra charged and ready is a plus.

I do find the vapor from the Go to be cooler on my throat and a little tastier throughout a session and I like the stems better than the mouthpiece on the fury but... any further comparison will need to be done elsewhere on the forum.

My bad...I like to have a session count down timer so I know how long until it auto-shuts off. A minor complaint, for sure.

Side-by-sides are on the list of things to do, so I don't have any opinions yet on how the vapor compares. But yesterday I had a six hit session that was very similar to what I usually do on the other Arizer portables and hits 2 through 4 were impressive. At this point all I can say about the vapor is it's satisfying!

Amen there, Brother! It makes great vapor for sure, delivers on the 'promise' of another vape from Arizer.

After you get past that part, it's natural to start looking for the differences on the suck end of it all.....at least it seems natural to me. "If you like Solo/Air, you'll like ArGo" is a pretty safe statement I think, though no doubt not absolute.

FWIW I do think there's a difference, modest as it might be. I can't quite put my finger on it. Hey, it could all be in my head, pretty abstract stuff......

But twice now I've done an 'A/B test' (Solo in one hand, ArGo the other, with 'the same herb') and think it's real? Please let me/us know? I think the first couple hits favor Solo for taste, but later ones on average ArGo? Or not. Close call, unimportantly so to rational people no doubt........

So can the ArGo only be used when the top is clicked down? (cant remember if this has been mentioned or not)

I could see myself getting one for 4/20 maybe if they go on for a good sale. I want to get a Dabox and a Vapcap M first though, so many lovely vapes so little expendable money! On the bright side, I am starting to notice myself using alot less herb than when I was combusting so thats nice.

ArGo definitely is a nice looking little unit, thats for sure.

Fair enough, thank you for the quick answer! Just a random thought I had, I guess it moves less than I thought it did which makes sense.

So do you usually heat up the ArGo with the stems loaded, or heat it up and then add stem, and let it heat soak? Just wondering since on my Solo2 I usually let it heat up first since it lets the stems go in a bit easier, and I dont mind waiting an additional 30-45 seconds for a heatsoak

I've been really enjoying the M for on-the-go dosing and short sessions.

The DAbOX is pretty cool; admittedly I don't use mine as frequently as I could. The coils will impact the flavour a bit if your not careful.

Despite the negativity around the Puffco Plus it does concentrates well and the flavour is great. Looking forward to their new 2018 offerings.

But the ArGo, will be able to provide an on-the-go sessiom experience without needing to bring a butane torch. I'm super intrigued - also just waiting for those sweet deals.

If @PlanetVape has something in the near future I will be the proud owner of a new ArGo. Until then I'll have to keep using my current tools

Not to derail the thread with this, since I am super interested in the ArGo myself but you might be interested in the Fury2 as well, if you are looking for an ultra portable on-the-go session vape. I really see those two competing with the Fury2 being a lot more affordable.

I would love to compare the ArGo to the Fury2, especially to compare the taste.

Is the Airpath isolated from the electronics? I think I read that question already but can not remember it being answered ... hope I did not overread it.

Slightly medicated, hope everything makes sense. :)

I honestly don't see the comparison. They are both small, but the Fury 2 can't possibly stand up to the ArGo.

I don't own either vape, so take it or leave it. If anyone owns both I'd be interested in following a thread in the ask FC section on the topic.

The Air looks more stealth than the ArGo. I do have the Air OG and the Solo II so I feel I have the best of both worlds. Further down the line I may buy an Air II but I’m not that interested in the form factor of the ArGo.

I’m sure the ArGo is well made since it’s from Arizer. There will be folks that will be interested in this unit.

Loaded. It’s loaded and in the pocket when I leave the house. No problems yet for me with smells, either. This is one of those vapes that’s a joy to have to test!

I also don't own either, but I do have an original Arizer Air, and the Fury 2 looks like a much more powerful vaporizer. I've honestly been wondering if my Air is defective lately as I see so much praise for Arizer portables on here, but my Air is truly underwhelming.

I know @ohmygodimsohigh has both. I understand this is about as far as we can compare vapes in their dedicated thread so I'm done but I bet he would chime in if you asked him.

Inverted....it might just be a battery issue for you possibly? My brothers Air was acting the same compared to my identical one purchased at the same time....but I always use LG G2's and never have a prob. His stock battery and a Samsung R250 had issues because he used them in his e-juice mod too.

See if that is any issue first. Cause I get awesome vapor with my Airs. I prefer the Air 1 with the bigger oven holes over the original or A2. If I want taste and smooth vapor....I opt for my Air 1.5 every time. I like mixing kief and flower for better vapor as well.


On track though.....I am having a hard time being patient waiting for more detailed reviews and opinions on the Argo. Still not sure if it has any use possibility I don't have now, or if it would make anything I have now better.

I've had a ton of people asking about this so I'm going to paste my most recent private response here.

I've always enjoyed the Arizer vapor, but never seen the Air or the Solo as "portable" - only as 'around the house portable'

so now for me the ArGo has that great arizer vapor and value in a tiny little package. I love it. The device is the PERFECT size for pocket carry.

The device itself isn't quite as nice as the Air, since the Air is almost all metal/glass. The Argo has a bit of plastic - but it's still a very nice device. I like the Argo better than my Solo2 and Air2.

I may still be in honeymoon stage with it though.

Thank you for the information! Since it will be my first Arizer vaporizer, I am very curious. Accordingly, I am pleased about every comment here, especially if it is positive.

My ArGo has been with German Customs since yesterday. Now it's time to wait. This can take a few days up to 4 weeks.
