How do you know where yours is in terms of shipping. I am taking an unwanted break because of a bad cough that seems to be lasting forever. I hope that it's gone when mine arrives.

initial impressions:

I like it. I did not notice any earth-shattering differences but am glad I bought it. I still have not gotten the settings exactly where I want them yet. I did not pay careful attention to the number of sessions, So far I can only say that the Tubo vtc Dual had more sessions than my Tubo evic not quite sure if it is/was double the evic.

I will try to write things down today.

As far as pictures. I can not give you the quality that @funkyjunky can. My dual is exactly like the one in @funkyjunky used in the video Birch with a White dual. For all I know, I got that exact one??

@funkyjunky What settings am I supposed to use for watts while in 2 battery mode?

Well its no fancy dual, which I personally find no need for, I suppose largely because I divide up my time amongst loved ones (these days mostly Zion with water torchers and this little guy) The single battery doesn't bother me because I have also gotten into a good rhythm with my useage and what to expect how many hits with a small bowl (with a photo below finally!) and what the % means for me... Sometimes I swap em early, sometimes I take em low, often with varying charge levels. Mainly 3 HG2s and a 30Q that came with it, sparingly 2 HE4s and a 25R, each seems to have no trouble with 4 bowls and if I could ever be bothered to keep track again likely more are capable (depending on temps) the way I use it most, with bent stem set up like this:

This is like the new RBT rimmed basket screens, an early custom he made for me to use with a bent stem that he cut the joint down for me, so this may be one of the first prototypes of the new screens except it is even shallower so I am loading small bowls that can be killed in a couple hits at 420. Usually I am grinding finer and you can load a lot or a little in the bowl still (ofcourse it is always little regardless). I also use lower temps more, 380 a lot, but as low as 340 since the temps are fairly accurate now with the load so small and close to the heater, while less heat is stolen with less metal than a regular rimmed screen which use a finer mesh as well...

Totally passed out with this Bossy OG in the Tubo, not to mention what was in the Brick :zzz:

Mine came too but I won't use it yet till I can breathe better. I am not very coordinated (broken record I know). I won't have any problem using the double battery but I can't figure out how to switch to the single battery. Also, did it come with software set up to a basic configuration? I know some people want to fine tune there's but I'd like mine to be usable out of the box if possible.

It's all set up. Usually with the latest firmware... all you need to change is the temperature. :nod:

Although mine will be a bigger box with the pa and our post is notoriously rubbish at Xmas time.

Didn't get tracking details (although expected them) so am hoping it'll arrive today. No rush just don't lose it :goon:

@little maggie, to switch from 1 cell to 2 you push the bottom of the battery section up. The single battery goes into the one cell section.

If you follow the "puzzle" to put it back together. There is only one way it will fit. Good Luck you will enjoy it.

When you charge your batteries, please notice whether the "pair" are discharged the same amount.

I used a BRAND NEW pair of HG2 cells and they have not been drained the exact amount.

I'm so jealous, so far no surprise parcels for me. In a way it's a good thing, my wife just saw my little Fury 2 last nite and she was none too happy about "another one!?". In my mind I was thinking "fuck, it may show up tomorrow along with my nonavong". All this morning I've been trying to come up with reasonable explanations but so far none seem to hold water:|

So I picked up my unit (duo) yesterday, shipping took about a week, the swiss post are not messing around!
It came well packed with all the goods (thanks again for the free cork whip adapter funky!).
Spent all of last night testing, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I like to microdose, it took me a while to find the right temps and coil resistance, but i settled at 230-235c to get a good extraction from a very small amount, 1-2 hits, thick vapor and good taste, using the whip adapter. Just put the stem in, go warm up mode first, then switch to cruise at the desired temp and draw.
There is still some fine tuning I want to do, maybe play with the coil resistance a bit more as my unit seems to run on the cold side, and I still need to find the right temps for hash.
Thanks funky for making this great little vape!

I'm on week three waiting for my tubo evic.. it seems like most people have gotten there's sooner . Should I worry? I'm dying over here, contemplating buying another vape. Lungs hurting from smoking recently..

I feel your pain, this morning I caught myself on the edge of buying a 3rd IQ:lmao:. Thankfully I distracted myself and the moment passed. We're on the same boat, I'm hopeful it'll be any day now:wave:. Try not to visit any forums, every time I look I see someone else announcing their arrivals and I would get all antsy all over again:lol:
