Discontinued Vapir NO2

I vape oils in my NO2, by putting small dabs on 100% cotton from a qtip(unrolled).. and then I roll it and sit it in the NO2 chamber loosely, at 385.
The persei is great... but I would not call it an "upgrade" since the NO2 does things that it can not.
I would mor consider that you are adding to your vape arsenal than upgrading (apples/oranges).
I love making my own oils for my Omicron carts... but I would not give up my NO2 to keep using it.
I am glad we do not have to choose!

Talk about stealth...

Today I was coming back from work and there was a lot of trafic. I was sitting alone on the very last row of the bus with someone sitting just in front of me.

I fired up the NO2 and waited until it reached 195C. I then dropped my pre-grinded herb, closed the lid quickly, opened the window about 1" and started to inhale... and did so completely unnoticed for about 10 minutes, until a bunch of kids invaded the remaining seats at the back of the bus... so I had to retire the thing. Didn't matter, I was totally vaped a few minutes later... I simply kept my sunglasses and cranked the iPod a couple notches up :brow:

I have a number of new packages of new OEM Matrix tubes.
I bought them from Vapeworld
All fit snuggly and well.
A member here in the community bought a set of the tubes on Amazon, and they do not fit well. She learned that they were "bootleg"... they were labeled Vapir OEM Matrix Tubes, but they were not the real thing.
Just as in the case of the Vapir NO2.
Get the real deal you will be happy!
That means buying every NO2 part from an "authorized Vapir NO2 Dealer".
A bargain is only a bargain if you can use it!

Hi Folks,

Was at my LHS yesterday picking up a new downstem for Sir Beaker when we spotted the NO2 on display. The great saleslady showed us the NO2 along with a general operation overview. Long story short, we left the LHS with a new downstem AND the NO2. Yes, paid much more than what is available on Amazon but I like to support local brick~mortar LHS.

Brought the NO2 home and 'aired' it out along with an approximate 9 hour initial charge.

Went to Vapir online and registered my warranty.

Well, fired this thing up and - I tell ya - this thing was the missing link in my arsenal! While I love my other vapes, this one really is what I've needed for mobile around the house use (yard work, tinkering in garage, or general stealth use when having company over). So much easier to use than my MFLB (which is great unit as well and will make a great gift to a friend). Much cleaner tasting than the Arizer Solo I returned a few months back. :2c:

In summary: major thumbs up from this new NO2 user.

Now we just need to figure out a way to couple the NO2 to Sir Beaker for a fun Sunday ride!

That's how I feel about it!
I have a bunch of portables here that people can look out and try.
Many choose the NO2 over others, and all of the NO2 users in our mmj community report only positive experiences.

I actually bought them from the same place I bought 2 NO2's and 2 EQ's. I've bought extra whips and cyclone bowls as well. This time however, you may be right. They were actually cheaper from Vapir site!! Boy,,,and sometimes I think I'm smart.

Like uncle Vito said, that's how I would describe it myself too. Glad to see another happy NO2 user :D

You can certainly attach this beast to a beaker, I used a silicone whip and a glass tube adaptor from ALT.

I bought tube from Vapir and they fit horrible.
They even shipped UPS instead of priority like I asked.
I know I asked for Priority because it's only 3days from Cali
Not the seven it took from ground ups.
The water line from Home depot fit much better.

REALLY?? Ya, I went to Tap Plastics and got some tube that fits perfectly. I don't understand. The initial 4" tubes were perfect fit.

Vitolo - yes I can certainly understand why they feel that way!

Vaporisateur - nice set up - like that simple connection for sure. I may have to root around here to see if I can fab a quickie.

Ran 3 sessions on this with a single charge and probably could do another.

Such a handy device to have accompany me while working around the home.

I agree the tubes in the box fits great, the ones Vapir sent are 15 inches x 3.but slip right on and off.
the original I can pick up the No2 with, the new ones slip right off.

:2c: I got a brand spanking new NO2 at an AMAZING price off a popular online auction site. Just got the dang thing in the mail today, the wife is away, so it was Otay!

Anyhow, I found the best herbal product I could find, had a friend up to the house, followed the advice about soaking the little, clear, pipe-stem looking thing, and letting it air out. Thanks to Vaporisateur and Vitolo for all of your helpful posts.
I ground the herb, put it into the chamber after heating to temp., and shortly fell in love with this thing. :ko: No funky aftertaste of plastic or anything, so I was relieved. Just a really light taste of the herbal essence.

I must now watch Iron Man II with a large bowl of buttery popcorn. Dig it. :D

*I like the size.. it is already perfect.
*I like that it is on a stick and I can get it into corners of dishes/bottles to catch Iso or hash oil without involving fingers.
*I like the way q tips unroll
*60% of cotton balls are not pure , but blends. (yes.. you can read the fine print... but I hate the size, and I
waste alot)
*I like that the stick allows me to hang the wet end of the qtip over something to dry without touching the
Iso/BHO qtip to surfaces
* If I choose to NOT unroll the stiff oil soaked qtip, but slice it open... and use it as a tighter "plug" ... it already has a qtip stick sized hole in the center for airflow.
There are many more reasons, developed from many years of trials... and failures.
These are a few.

Hey, everyone - I'm new to the forum but I've been lurking through the day on my phone. I'm not sure if this tip has been added yet and I'm not quite ready to search fifty nine pages to find it...

I find that putting one of the screens they give you on top of your herbs, so the bottom of the screen is in the hole (as if it were meant to be!) before closing the unit in seems to make everything work more effectively. It keeps herbs from getting into the top and clogging things up, and it really seems to increase my vapor output. I don't know how, but I've noticed a consistently huge difference in the size of vapor clouds and the mileage of my herbs. Perhaps it helps keep some of the heat in? Someone want to give it a try and give a second opinion?

I am indeed - and thank you! I'm learning all sorts of cool stuff!

I have done a similar "tactic' with my NO2. After filling the chamber, I have placed a pair of very tiny "twiglets" (stems) criss crossed in my chamber, to block the powdered herb from collecting on the top screen... and restricting flow.
This is the importance of repeating this procedure after EVERY chamber full Clean Top Screen After Every Load!
The criss cross stems do help if weed is too powdery...
as I am sure a piece of screen could.
I resolved this entire issue with grind and freshness. You can not always get the perfect herb though.
If you use herb that is medium grind (like oregano flake) it will not gather at the top screen...
anything more powdery will gather there.

One more factor concerning why there could be more heat- This is conductive heat... the chamber is a small oven that gets warm around the herbal matter... then you breath air through that chamber.
The metal screen is touching the "oven" (chamber) wall.. and so it it actually could be transferring a small amount of extra heat around the chamber full of weed.
