I have been using my sticky brick constantly since I got it and your right no flavor. Love this vape. Just ordered the hydro add on.

Yeah, my walnut had almost no herb flavour for about a month of use. Now it’s awesome but only after the vapor has had a chance to sink in and season the wood. Now it’s very tasty and very little if any wood taste. Also if there are any splinters in the intake hole, they might ignite and make the wood taste stronger. I had that too. I cleaned the holes up though.

I have just joined the Sticky Bricks Junior family and ordered a cedar unit at vaposhop.nl... Very much looking forward to receiving it!

I now want another brick I feel that my JUNIOR is small at times

Just got a walnut sbjr. W-o-w. I love feeling the wood and stirring the material with the toothpick makes me feel like the grandfather figure and his sherlock.
I just got the Jr today and almost instantly knew I wanted an OG. I need to adapt lighting the intake at certain angles and having it so close to my face. A little bit of eye trickery going on..

I find 45° to be almost perfect. Then you can tilt the whole brick slightly and see the intake and output of vapor at the same time. You’ll find what’s most comfortable to you as you go along.Just got a walnut sbjr. W-o-w. This is a quite versatile unit that works well with JR (GonG) ,& with my UD's with (silicone) for metal edit:

I am Homo Vapcap. Butane will never run out in my household!
However, the Junior has arrived and I separated myself with it in my office. I just tried it for the first few times and am a bit surprised:
Everything is as expected. The Cedar wood is beautiful, build quality is great. A wonderful device. I even managed to get some good rips out of it without combusting. Very promising, all well and shiny.
BUT: It tastes like fish. I cannot describe it otherwise. My mouth feels as if I cleaned a whole fishmarket with my tongue. It's a bit disgusting and absolutely not what I would have expected. It's definitely not my material. The same buds taste marvellous in my Vapcap/Milaana/Vapman/...
It's just with the Sticky Brick Junior. The Cedar might play a role (maybe it's not THAT non-aromatic). But it can't be only that. I am really confused right now and hope that the taste will wear off over time. I could not tell the flavours of my weed with that vape. Impossible. Don't know what to think at the moment.
//Edit, some more hits later. Taste aside - That thing hits like a truck. I have a meeting in 30mins and guess that I need sunglasses to cover my red glowing small eyes...

I also suspect the Butane. But both of my brands claim to be several times refined and to have near zero impurities.

@Dynavaper i should recieve my cherry junior today, hopefully without the fish..... your post made me think twice if i really need it... how does it hit in comparision to a vapcap?

The funny thing is i had kind of a similar experience 2 month ago, went out to a concert and after the fenix mini went out during the 3. bowl i had to fall back to a flowermate v for my way home - at the end of the bowl it started tasting fishy, never had that before in any vape. Thought it had to do with the vape offgasing something, but it's almost 3 years old... So didn't think to much about it (i don't use the FM often anyway) but the next days almost every vape started tasting fishy at the end of session - so i thought it has to be the material, but i can vouch for it being more than proper...
What makes it even more strange, it faded away as it came maybe a week later
still same material and some vapes even didn't got cleaned
edit - both butane brands are fine, can't tell a difference or any sidetaste

I think it's the Butane. I just tried another lighter (with some unknown gas inside) and it tastes MUCH better. Huge clouds. Incredible.
Is there a "What is the best butane brand out there" on FC already?
You will not regret it at all. Two complete different tiers that compliment each other. I would not really compare them, but both are great, as it seems. As long as you do not use the same fish gas as I do...

Lucienne is said to be the cleanest, but hard to come by in EU - the Tycoon gas is the best buy here afaik...
Had some brand new lighters with an off taste in the beginning but that went away after 2-3 refills

I just found another gas cartridge by a brand called "Cilio" and filled my lighter with it.
Bad taste is completely gone and the whole thing works exactly as brilliant as expected and even better. My apologies for the unjustified "complaint".
What a great device!

and is so much fun to use and operate. 
Now I am sure that I want an OG Brick. Damn!
