Hey guys, have any other satchmo owners experienced the lid popping off (de-threading) over use? I've now had this happen to three other satchmos, the first I wrote to aldo and he generously replaced, the other two I bought new satchmos as I felt this must be due to user error, overtightening perhaps? Since then I have been very careful not to overtighten....yet here I am again with a granny smith satchy which now has a very delicate seal and whose lid will pop off :(

A few bad apples ... I'll replace them just email me what you need with your address. Shouldn't happen, sorry!

Aldo I appreciate the kind offer but do think there is more going on here, on my end....I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this problem so I have to think it's me!

I have the same issue with my Satchmo. Sometimes it seems to tighten down fine, but when I come back to it later the lid has popped off. Most times, when I tighten it down it will go just "past" being fully tight and will pop off in my hand. I bought it when the satchmo's were first introduced and it worked fine for quite a while before it started acting like this. I assumed I had damaged it somehow.

There was a run of bad caps that pop like that ... Again, I'll replace them if you send email to support@

Thank you very much and yes I'll add the Reds automagically for you

But not for me :(
Anyway, I got my first classics today from the post office and I really like them. The plastic is way better than what I was expecting and is good to finally having a travel friendly glass container. I'm curious to see how smellproof this thing is, by the look of the cap threading and seal it should be an huge improvement over my old film canisters.

I am confident you'll find the "odor control" very effective. Thanks for joining the JyARz fam! -Aldo

Aldo, sorry for repeating my inquiry. But do you intend to offer the JyARz in more, clearer and stronger colours?

Aldo, sorry for repeating my inquiry. But do you intend to offer the JyARz in more, clearer and stronger colours?

The "pastel-ish" look of JyARz results from the fact that they are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic milk jug plastic. The colors look a bit muted as a result but I'm committed to the environmental benefit. However, I'm currently working on silicone sleeves (Classic only for now) which will likely be made out of silicone and they will allow for more vibrant colors, while offering increased protection for the glass core and a wider base to make them a little less "tippy."

I should have prototypes in a few weeks ... I will keep this group apprised of my progress on that new offering.

Oh, thanks for info. Makes sense but the coulours not nicer ;-)

Eagerly waiting for the silicone sleeves.

I tend to prefer my muted colors more than the bright and loud ones.

While Orange is one of my favorites on the bench, it is a bit flashy for travel.
The Yellow goes nearly unnoticed in any situation. Totally not flashy, this one is my favorite!

Yep, the orange is one of the best. Unfortunately the classics aren't available in this colour. Why actually not??
