@Morty it's really compact for a desktop. Super easy to carry around. Just BYOB (Bring Your Own Bing)
All my buddies have their own pipes so it's pretty convenient to just grab this little case.
I'd love to have a mini pelican hard case that could hold everything including my water pipe, like the package on Newvapes site though.

I used to have a backpack just for my Volcano and would bring it everywhere. People would laugh but they always admired my dedication! :D You gotta look out for yourself as a vaporist!

IMO the only thing that keeps this vape from being truly portable is the cool down time. It does take 20-30 minutes to really be able to handle it. Worth bringing around for me, my other vapes seriously are getting no use.

When I take my FP out in the wild I keep the coffee mug with me. It doubles as a heat shield. I can be packed and headed out the door after a sesh pretty quick. :D

Anything is portable if you're dedicated enough ;)

On a more  note, my FP has been in Florida the last 4 days w/ no movement. Doesn't look like I'll be getting it this week. Poopy! :shit:

Mine is doing the same thing. I've been checking a couple of times a day and I'm almost ready to start biting my nails.

Shipping is so messed up right now with the big holiday rush i wouldn't worry to much. I just got a package i had ordered 7 days late due to this and half of it was damaged. It was not from NewVape but from Amazon and that's with 2 day prime member shipping.

Almost there...

It's the same in Southern Ontario, Canada!
Recently went to rent a van from Enterprise and was informed that Canada Post has rented all their vans for the entire month of December to try and cover all the deliveries!
I see them all over the place crammed full of boxes!

I am not ordering anything for the time being!
Even bought and paid for a vape and asked for it to be shipped next year! LOL!

Has anyone had to deal with a warranty issue?
I actually had when the FlowerPot just came out , i got a bowl and head that was just off by a mm or 2 and locked up and fused together . I was actually blown away by the customer service provided , best i ever experienced in my life & caused me to be a loyal customer for life. The problem was taken care of quickly and that's all i can ask for.

I have for the dhgate controller in my link, but yeah, what have you broken and how? ;)

Intermittent issue with enail controller not wanting to work properly and now the handle on my 18mm bowl broke off.

I contacted the manufacturer and got a quick response to my first email, was told to take a pic of controller and it would be handled, they would send replacement and a return label, ect I sent my response, and now a second response (have waited over a week) and newvape has gone radio silent.

Not in panic mode or anything yet but two emails with no response in over a week had me at least slightly concerned, and a bit annoyed. The newvape and been my daily driver since i got it, and even when my enail controller is working (intermittent issue) the lack of a handle on hot bowl makes the unit close to un usable. Been back to Zion, Herbie, and VXC at home until sorted out.

Cheers all.

Another thing to add to the already shitty parcel service especially for Amazon customers.

Corporate BS that fucks the customers.

Do you have the Showercap? When my bowl handle broke I used the dabber from the showercap.

So the pelican style case for my FlowerPot bundle showed up last night. Anyone want to help me out with the geometry and how to set it up to hold everything? Let me see how you configured your travel case.

side note: Did my first double-decker last night on the shower head.... I had a long talk with Jesus. :smug:

Hope all my Cali peeps are okay, fires got pretty damn close to here last night. Close enough that the roads are closed and I can't really leave my place. Ended up being just out of the way of this one but I know not everyone was so lucky. We're pretty much dealing with these fires on a yearly basis these days. I told everyone if I have to evacuate I'm grabbing the dog and the flowerpot!

@IAmKrazy2 they sent me a couple handle for the bowl when mine broke. They are top notch just sometimes they get damn busy

That's cool, I should have contacted them when mine broke. I guess I just assumed a "breakaway" handle wouldn't be covered under warranty for breaking. The solid silicone handled one I just got is way better than the hemp wicked version IMO. It cost nearly as much in shipping as the handle though. I wish there was a better option for small things like that.

I haven't received a reply to any of the emails I sent to Newvape. I just assumed their email is broken or something.

Crazy , i had a few customers calling me yesterday to make payments or tell me they can't bc there place is about to burn down from the fires out there. I'm praying for all you , it would really suck to loose all your belongings over this or even lose people. I know the feeling as hurricane Sandy had caused me and my family to loose allot when it hit several years ago. Stay safe man

Man, I was down in Southern CA for thanksgiving, it was so hot and everything looked so damn dry. Just make sure you have a viable evacuation route at the ready if it comes to it. I hope no one gets seriously hurt and that everything is insured.

I've been fortunate to not be in any major natural disasters, just a few medium quakes when I was growing up in CA. Seeing major things like this happen really get me thinking about prioritizing my possessions and preparedness, like making sure to always have at least two weeks worth of weed, I mean supplies, in case SHTF.

Good to hear you escaped this one so far. This maybe a rough month as weather is suppose to remain warm and dry until after new years. Down in OC, its ok here for now. This would be a perfect time where that travel case would come in handy. I may just get one for $40 bucks. And the foam is only $8 too. Thats cheap! Pluck foam for my Pelican 1200 is like $20.

As for the Breakaway handle. LOL i thought the same. I broke mine in a week and was gonna send them an email but the title caught my eye as a "breakaway" and thought, well i guess this is suppose to happen and its $8 to replace. So i kept the threaded part in the bowl to seal the bowl. Now its basically a shitty stubby bowl that i never use. Now on, i will avoid the OG handle bowls for $40 and try to the panhead. If that has issues, its back to the trusty cheap but great stubby. I also notice they removed that breakaway handle from the site earlier this week when i placed an order.

@wildman420 youtube it pluck foam set up, take a few twax rips, (I would recommend some sativa) take a min to gather yourself, grab a bunch of thumb tacks and knives. Have all your shit you want in it laying on top and use the thumb tacks as and outline and then use the knife to cut it out. Make sure you dont cut all the way though unless you need to to fit.

Say hello to my sick little friend. She has a hammerhead perc and I decided to outfit her with a beautiful dedicated shovelhead bowl.

So sweet, she is my new driver!

How are you liking this piece so far.
Thinking about picking up a very similar model.

I have been using the SIC disk a lot lately (making a lot of oil from my new crop) and it's pretty dirty. I tried some hot alcohol but I think I need something stronger. What is the max temp I could take it up to? I am a bit wary of torching it.

Found an article saying the dish should be able to withstand 3000 F so I took it to the workshop and torched it. After touching I used a dabber (next time I will start with a wooden pick, less likely to do any damage) to very gently chip away the carbonised remains. Then a quick soak in ISO, cleaned off with some kitchen paper. To ensure all the ISO was gone and any last little bits I re-assembled it and took it up to 900 F for a few minutes.

Nice and clean now!
