I just had two in my hand at a friend's house. A Classic and a Satchmo. It's impossible not to fall in love with them. I already used borosilicate (brown glass) containers since years, but the Jyarz are another step ahead. I just regret that I have not ordered more of them as gifts for friends. The Classic models are just perfect in size for me. I cannot wait for them to arrive!

Everyone should have some!

P.S.: This is what I have used until now:

Absolutely not bad, very cheap, quite robust (not comparable to the Jyarz though) and available in all different sizes, but the Jyarz is another level of greatness. I am completey convinced since I held them in my hand today.

they look nice and glass is the best material to not spoil your bud.
light and air-sealed, i get it.

But whats the advantage compared to black film canisters ?
they also are very air tight. maybe not a 100% but very smell proof.

these can be bought for a couple of cents.
here in europe one has to pay minimum 15EUR = 18$ for a classic jyars

It's surely a matter of priorities. I grow my own herb, spent a lot of time on research on how to do this organic and 100% natural, do this with utmost care and dedication, to keep my yield as healthy as possible. I am not a recreational user. And you expect me to put the precious result of my efforts in a plastic film container that might release harmful substances to my herb? After all the work? No way.

Don't get me wrong - I have used film containers for nearly 2 decades. I am still alive and all that. But I hope you get my point. If I would still buy the shit that most dealers sell to you, then I wouldn't care too.

What makes me worry is the plastic.
I wash them before I use them but still. There was photosensible chemestry inthere bevore.

I have used film canisters for years, always been my favorite container.
I ordered some Jyarz because I noticed that if I forget to take my weed out of them and back in the mason jar I store it in it takes a bad smell after just a couple of days. I think plastic containers are fine for very short term storage but nothing more.

BTW @JyARz I placed my order on november 26th and only got a confirmation email, how long should it take for shipment?

If you have ditchweed, then film cannisters will suffice :)

If you have nice dank buds, then they DESERVE JyARZ. Anything less is an insult to your herbs !
In the big picture, a whole fleet of JyARZ will cost less than 1/4 or 1/2 oz of buds and they will be serving your vaping pleasure forever ;)

I started JyARz one night when a friend of mine saw the weak little plastic Advil container I was using to store my herbs. He said "wouldn't it be cool if that was made of glass!?" From that moment forward I was a man possessed, I was going to build it come hell or high water. I'd never created any sort of product before, I was just inspired.

I frequently write words of thanks to you all for being so supportive of JyARz. With this I just want to encourage everyone with an inspiration of whatever sort to jump on it and do just do it! It'll probably be a struggle but the kindness on this list alone has made it all worth it. Thank you all so very much.

We love ya, Aldo. But what we love most is your dedication to your idea/product and how well you treat your customers. People like you and George (DynaVap) help to restore my faith in small business. It's not just about the money for you guys, and that makes us want to give you more business. Like I said above, it makes a difference.

Hey Aldo, good to see you around.

I added some jyarz to my last order from vapefiend. 4 out of 5 were great as I know them. Packed in a tiny cardboard box and the white gasket and shock absorber. However one came differently, without box and with stinky brown gaskets, no absorber from what I can see. And since I'm allergic to latex I could immediately feel what that brown stuff has to be... Oh no..!:ugh::uhoh:

Asked vapefiend to swap it or what options we would have but they were absolutely unwilling to accommodate or help me out. The way they want to see it is, it's my fault, cause latex is mentioned in their product description. That's correct, I didn't read it (as I have several classic jyarz already and they are all the same, white non-allergenic silicone - so I didn't have a clue there are different iterations out with latex, would NEVER have bought it knowing I cannot tolerate it.)- but it's obviously the old product description and since mid 2014 the jyarz come with the new gaskets and absorber exclusively As I read on jyarz.com. Have never received a latex one and until now, did not even know that that version existed... So I have to call it a misunderstanding, and there was no option or mention that you can order/receive different versions, obviously randomly without knowing. Problem is, I cannot even use it so I hoped for some understanding and a reaching hand even if it was my fault.
They wanted to charged me for BOTH ways shipping in case of a return. Since I'm not in their country it's more economical to buy a new one straight away...
Anyway, really, really sad and disappointed as I thought they were on par with the great guys at @VapoShop, that I had only good experiences with and that offer help even if there's problems with the manufacturer... (Thanks again!)

Aldo, is there any chance to receive just the new gaskets/absorber by mail (in an ordinary envelope)? Vapefiend did not have any parts so that suggestion did not work either..
Loving my jyarz and it's crazy to think about having to toss one due to that damn latex from pre mid-2014 containers...:bang:

Anyway, rambling over. ;)

Hi Aldo,

I found a suitable tariff finally and emailed you (resent the mail one day later, cause I was having issues with my provider. Just to be safe - sorry if you got two now). It accepts up to 3/4” thickness. You told me the absorber was 1/2 “. So this should work. Thanks for taking care of me!
Hoping to hear back from you soon.

Loving my non-Latex jyarz and can only recommend em. Classics are just perfect!:tup:

You will not be able to believe how much of an upgrade that is. Tightvacs... Meeh. :)

I should add that several JyARz arrived here today. I ordered from Vapefiend UK and Vaposhop.com NL.
2x Black, 2x Orange, 2x Green, 2x Yellow and 2x Red (Classic) and 1x Orange (Satchmo).
Much love! Great stuff! No regrets. First reaction of my Vapemate in the office: "What's that? That's cool. That's... WANNA. HAVE.".

I found a superior and slicker silicone gasket material. Some super refined nostrils noticed a slight off gasing so that was that...new material seems universersally popular. So we are sticking (or not) with it.

I think it's all described above...somewhere way back in this thread.
