I hadn't tried 777F yet but it's a really different experience than 680F. Loved the flavor, seemed to produce that preheated bowl taste on the first bowl. I had a coarse grind of moist bud, lil smash after the first hit and the finished product was spent. High seems to be about the same, maybe a lil more stoney? Love that lip smackin flavor though! The more I vape this hazy truth bud, the more I want to cook with it, it's super savory!

I'm sure you'll be back in the saddle in the no time. :D

EDIT: Just reached the 777 zone @invertedisdead ! Holy shit that was great. Fine grind with a normal to fast draw. I think 700 just became old news for high temps.

Welcome to crushville! Love using my beaker for those giant tokes! Total old school experience with 100% vapor!

switched back to the OGFP and damn im gonna have to buy a cap for the SH because im leaning towards the FP right now. Everyone is diff and the airflow of the SH is just too much for me.

Its the fucking smell I cant stand! :)

Thankfully, Im noticing before I inhale it. Thankfully the rezblock does actually help with cleaning. Stupidly, I've only just thought to turn the controller temp down :)
The smell of combustion pieces makes me want to vomit hahaha. I smoke blunts too sometimes still, and the smell that lingers on my clothes drives me nuts.

Anyone here with a hex nail know if it makes much of a difference compared to a normal PID? My HN-01 is currently out of commission until hopefully today when the replacement SD card comes in, but I tried my new flowerpot on my friend's PID with great results. Was just curious if any hex nail owners have noticed an upgrade in temp stability or any other bonuses. Also has anyone tried hashish with the FP yet?

You own a HN-01 , do you notice a difference ? I happen to have one also and the benefits besides the Lcd screen are the fine tuning it provides which all trickles down to better temp stability and the fact that it has different settings for a few of the top nails on the market. It can always be upgraded via wifi to stay up to date with the latest trends. The several different modes it provides is a huge benefit , glob mode being a favorite of mine and it just looks amazing so its got that cool factor but a regular old Enail will work well and do the job , the Hex is more of a high end enail for connoisseurs not to say anyone can't use and own one . I guess not the HN-01's bc they stopped making them now. It makes a awesome pair with the FlowerPot imo. Really sucks yours is down at the moment and somewhat scares me that it could happen to mine. I'm glad i have a spare nail thanks to @NewVape710 , i use both on the regular.

Unfortunately a couple days before I received my FP, the SD card failed on my HN-01 due to a glitch in the coding or something, that causes it to overload info on the SD and fails. It has to do with how long you've left your unit on, but the issue should be fixed once us HN-01 owners receive the new update. Assuming you might have the same issue eventually, Ava from Hex-Nail resolves the issue quick and you won't have too too much downtime. Hopefully receiving the new one in the mail today to replace! Also waiting on my carb cap to come in on Monday to have better results. Do you use the generic ti tuning? Glad to hear the hex nail definitely makes a difference. I figured it would but wanted to know before I finally got to pair mine up.

I have tried several turnings and also messing with a few settings on my own. I have settled on one of the generic i believe , i'll have to check when i get home later.

Edit : Also to add , awhile back i had Newvape send the flowerpot to Hexnail for custom tunings and they never got around to making a setting , i am hoping in the future they do so.

The FP is designed to be used with flowers and concentrates, it doesn't matter if it's bubble hash, BHO or rosin. To use concentrates inside of the FP convection style you will want to uses either a small bed of flower below the concentrate, or 3 double weave Ti screens to prevent the concentrate from melting down into the stem.

Anyone have and like the 16mm wrap around post? Noticed there is a 16mm one but still no sh 16mm :(. Still debating if there is that much of a difference between the 16mm and 20mm coil

Work well? I've never convection vaped hash to begin with, but might have a good hash hookup pretty soon here.

What kind of hash? I've done bubble, dry sift, and scissor hash in my FP. It definitely works well, though I'm not sure on the perfect temps for these materials yet as I haven't gotten to play with them near as much as flower or wax. I'm interested more and more in these these old school hashes though for their natural cannabinoid ratios. Even farmers grade sift is a pretty awesome experience. People talk about the plant matter contaminants in dry sift, but even trim bin sift will have way, way, way less plant material in the hit than a flower bowl.

Exactly what I wanted to hear and exactly what I was thinking. Bed of flower or a few ti screens

Well, was mainly asking about bubble hash but really any hash, but will also be using trim bin sift and scissor hash from my friends who grow. Good to hear it all works well though :D

Minor differences going 16mm to 20mm , a bit better heat retention. Going to Sh is where the differences are. There most likely will not be a 16mm Sh as the point of it is the added mass going to 20mm and air flow. So if you are going from a 16mm og or even 16mm wrap around to showerhead you will notice the differences but going from a 16mm og to a 20mm wrap around the differences are there but very minor.

I have been using the wa head for a few weeks now as I have been dabbing more than vaping. I was thinking of selling the sh as I just really like concentrates better. I put the sh on today to help me make up my mind and yep I’m keeping it!!!

Both heads are different enough that it makes sense to get/keep both.:bang: The wide open airflow of the sh is just so awesome and dabbing off of SiC makes the wa well worth it.
