Loving the look of this vape. Gutted there's no European retailer. Is there a way of vetting the rebrands? As there's plenty of them on offer over here and theyre price is half of what healthy rips are charging with the exchange rate and shipping/tax

Really excited to see the developments here. My current go-to vaporizer is the Edit Convector rebrand of the Fenix purchased back before the Force was available. The built-in battery is starting to lose capacity so I've been keeping an eye on what's available currently. The Fury 2 sounds like a great piece of kit but since I don't prioritize discreteness or pocketability I think I'll hold off and wait for the promising home use portable mentioned. I'm hoping it turns out like a Mighty with replaceable battery (the main reason I won't purchase a Mighty) backed by Healthy Rips impressive customer service and responsiveness. I don't think I'm alone in hoping for that either.

I've been playing with temp test lately and this one is up next!

Here's my temp placement. The silicone gasket made it easy to install without messing up the screen. This felt to me like it was in the lower half of the bowl near the center of the load of abv.

First graph is a sit test. I didn't make note of the probe temp when the Fury 2 got to 390, and I should have. My money is on 200F, though, since it looks like it on the graph and that's what it did in the usage test later on. Anyhow, here it is:

The unit ramped up to 200 in the bowl quickly while the heater got to 390, at which point it stabilized for a little bit before a steady climb up to about 330F in the bowl, I assume due to radiant heat. It stabilized here, more or less, for the last 90ish seconds of the session before shutting off. It took about two and a half minutes to cool down to 200F.

Here's the actual session test in real world settings with a bowl of herb set to 390. It was a casual session with four hits. Here's the chart:

  • Again, the unit got to 200F in the bowl when it registered 390 on the display, so I hit it like normal.
  • The temp shot up to 370 over the duration of my strong 15 second draw, at which point it started slowly dropping down to 340 when I started my second hit.
  • The second hit started out slowly to see how it would react, and the two bumps at the top are where I huffed harder on it, so the Fury 2 compensates pretty quickly to dropping temp during a draw.
  • In my third draw it compensated three times during my draw.
  • The last draw was started with 6 seconds on the timer, so it's essentially a cool down hit.
So, it looks to me like the Fury 2 operates a lot like the Mighty, which in normal use is a full convection hit on the first draw followed by later hits that are mostly radiant and conduction heat with a slight boost from convection air. In the sit test the Mighty was slower to get to the highest temp, but it was a higher temp than the Fury was when sitting still. I think I'm going to find over time that this is the most common heat profile for all these hybrids.

And for shits and giggles I ran the session test (I'm starting to call these sit tests and session tests) with the glass wpa and got a pretty similar curve except for the extra hit.

One thing to note is the graphs aren't to identical scales. It changes based on how much data and whether or not I mess with it any. I try to keep them as similar as I can. For instance, this session had an extra hit in it, even though it was the same time frame as the previous one, so I pulled it out a bit so it wasn't getting compressed. If that's erroneous, let me know and I'll come up with a standard to apply to them all.

Any way to get the glass out of the mouth piece to deep clean the unit? Thanks.

So far after only a night of use this thing is a beast. I really like the glass wpa, works very well on my cheap water accessory. I would really like a SS screen basket or 'pod' to fit right inside the chamber for easier cleaning and ez switching of loads. But for now I'm going to have to order some SS screens. So far so good I'm really liking this vape. Only time will tell how well it works.

They use great well-cured silicone, but I'd still run a few on empty with the lid off to break it in, and I iso soaked the mouthpiece silicone a bit first too, along with brief swab of the chamber. New off and assembly line could always still be a little extra cleaner for me at least, as said it is different for each person, this does have a new smell/taste that neutralizes quick though and should be no offgassing either

That's goood to hear! Guess I've had some experience with units in this price range where I couldn't get past the factory taste but I may be a little sensitive to it.

From what I've read here though the Fury 2 seems to be the exception to the rule on a number of points so I'm excited to get it. Milaana is still my daily driver at home. Hoping this can be my mobile, chairlift, "take a beating" vape!

After reading the glowing endorsements and seeing the company presence on the forum I was psyched to get this mean little machine. I have dealt with HR a few times over the past year to buy mouthpieces and parts for my Edit Convector. Each time the purchase went smoothly, and ship time was incredible. This purchase was no exception. I ordered on Thanksgiving using the code, and had it in my hands way over here on the East Coast by Monday afternoon.

My first impressions weren’t favorable though. Despite assurances to the contrary, the silicone piece in my unit stank to high heaven (although the one in the bag has NO smell. I didn’t realize this at first). I washed it in soapy water (incidentally, is there a method to get the screen in the silicone piece? I struggled with that) and it still had some silicone stank. Throwing caution to the wind I popped it in and loaded a bowl at 365. Not much vapor and no taste really, not silicone, not terpenes. I had another bowl at 410 and got acceptable vapor.

Some bowls later I cranked it to 430 and got some amazing hits, no charring, a bit warm natively. But after that…

After I cranked it up, for some reason, the vape worked as advertised. Weird. 370 produces nice terpy hits, and 415 or so produces huge hits, with some nice flavor.

Next I tried the WPA with my D020-d, and I fell head over heels in love. Smitten. Struck. By itself or with my D020-d, it’s a powerhouse. WPA FTW, 430 FTW.

The WPA is a game changer, as far as I’m concerned, and transform this little marvel into a battery powered log vape. Great flavor and huge hits, this vape is a beast! Using the WPA also keeps the bowl clean.

Just incredible, great work Healthy Rips, well done.

That’s pretty much the only way to I use it. The vapor never gets too hot- even at 430. Hot yes, but not too hot. It hits like a freight train. I never thought a battery vape would be in my daily rotation (I get them for my wife) but I keep reaching for this one- with the WPA as a mouthpiece.

Yeah the wpa makes it perform like an arizer nano. Still taste not as good as something like Milaana which spoils being just glass and steel, plus on demand etc etc, but for a cheap easy out and about super portable knock around vape the Fury2 more than delivers, it puts most in that category to shame. I am sensitive to tastes too @dodgy_b but this is noticably better even if still not as pure as it could be compared to others
