@youngfart420, it takes time to develop your technique with packing, working the lighter on the cap for heating & how soon you stop heating at or after the click. It's possible, being that you're a heavy hitter & like the heavy vapor aspect that this vape won't be for you or won't be your 1st choice*. It may serves it's purpose as being an on the go unit or it may be for those times after you've enjoyed the Mightly or Plenty when your coming down & just want another 4 -5 hits more to put up. You not only have develop your technique with the vape, but also find out where it best fits in with your usage & lifestyle.

*You know part of the experience of vaping is not only the high, but how we interact with the device. The only analogy I can think of now is some people like their beer in a can, some in a mug, some in a tall beer glass. Presentation & handling are individual choices. It's the ambience of the vape that also matters.

As I said before start in the middle of the thread, end of the 300 pages, & read all the different techniques other members employ. There are so many permutations of individualized preferences/techniques that are employed in using the vc, it'll wow your mind, for sure. And at least you know you gave it a full chance. :nod:

I hear ya dude, I can relate to ya, I see your from LI.. ANd being from queens and almuni of suny farm & stony. I understand ambience part. But yea this VC may be a better choice for a "one hitter" type of option. I just dont get all the hype yet, I m hoping its not all hype

Well, for us it's not hype, obviously, judging by this thread, but it may very well be for you. Just give it a fair chance over time in different scenarios & with everything I posted above. In the end, whenever that it, you can always sell it. No harm, no foul. At least you would have gotten the opportunity to experience it & gotten it out of your system.

BTW, It was Nassau Community & Stony Brook. ;)

Check after the 2nd heat cycle to see what the color looks like & give a stir to rotate the herb. After another cycle, look again. You start to see at what point the herb is a nice cocoa brown. And also pay attention to taste as you will be accustomed to the change in taste & instinctively know that if you do 1 more heating cycle you're gonna combust. I learned this after combusting a # of times.

Your description of your AVB tells me that you are not heating right yet. Don’t worry, give it a week and you figure it out. I needed some time too, and when you perfect it flavor goes UP. There shall be no black!

I've been lurking a bit, reading in other places but still not 100% sure if I first want a NonaVong or an M. I mostly just want efficiency and I guess HUGE CLOUDS DUDE, don't care so much about the taste. Want to be able to get higher temperatures as well. Guess more hits per 'bowl' is a plus for the vong as well? I have a 14mm piece, but I'm not sure... Water absorbs THC a little bit? But I still like using it sometimes. So I'm leaning towards the vong now.
Is there some way that the M has a better "feel" than the nonavong, or more efficiency, if just used without a water piece?

@cybrguy - sorry mate but l have to disagree with you. I have an original glass body and it has NO integral tip and DOES work with the TI tip and Omni mouthpiece. I know because it knocks me on my arse just like my Omni and SBM. I will try and post a picture after work to show my setup.

Everyone else please keep up the pace, if you don't mind. I can't go very long yet without a nap, then I wake and let you all entertain me. And laughter is good medicine! Dynavap is really good for the soul! The good folks who work there are definitely on Santa's Good List.

To do this you need 8mm INTERNAL Circlips (and possibly some small circlip pliers to help fit them)

My pack of clips arrived yesterday. 20 for a dollar. Super easy to insert - 30 seconds and Hey Presto! An M tip with adjustable herb chamber ;)

Im glad it worked out for you:tup: since I did this trick my M tip has actually seen some use! I’m just not interested in the full sized chamber, given what can be achieved with half the size. But the M really works well with this modification!

This is a 3 minute bowl of unground bud. Flavour is much better like this and lasts longer, and when you grind down the nug it's still tasty.
The vapor is in there youngfart420 you've just got to hone your technique.
No offence but 4 hours is a drop in the ocean compared to some of us.

And because I know how much @cybrguy likes his leftovers shots.

I prefer the Ti Tipped Vapcaps over the Stainless Steel Tips of an M Vapcap.

The M has a one piece stainless steel midsection with an integrated mp. It is heavier than a ti tipped Vapcap.

The NonaVonG midsection has a wood STEM. It has no mp unless you are ordering the Ti NonaVonG S, which will include the NonaVonG BODY and a spinning wood mp. You could also order the longer Ti NonaVonG XLS which features an XL condenser, NonaVonG STEM and a spinning wood mp.

The M has an outside diameter of 10mm. The NonaVonG midsection are tapered to accept a watertool but can be used dry. They have more girth and are 14mm wide.

So in terms of feel the M is heavy and sleek and the NonaVonGs are bulkier, lighter and offer the smoothness and beauty of wood. The longer XLS models may be easier to twirl in a larger hand and the spinning mp can assist the manoeuvre.

I find the ti tips a bit nicer to use. I enjoy the timing of the faster heat up and the toking period compared to the SS. The ti tips are more nimble.

I don't think that one is more "efficient" than another. All the Vapcaps are surprisingly efficient vaporizers.

Just for grins I took out a couple of my OG VCs to try this out. The first one shattered while trying to force the TI tip into the glass. The second, with enough lubrication, WAS able to seat inside the glass tip, but the stress on the glass was likely to break it while heating or cooling. But even if not, there were now two screens, one inside the tip and one in the glass at the mouth of the tip. I could remove one, of course.
I'm not sure I can fathom any BENEFIT to doing this, but it IS possible. Maybe if you lost all but the tip of your Woody? I don't find the glass condensers to be any better than the metal ones, and then of course you have a fragile vape again.

But, I was wrong when I said it wan't possible. And given folks interest in doing things their own way, why not? The reasons _I_ think why not may only apply to me.

The OG glass body DOES have an integral tip, however. You may be using it as a joint for the Ti tip, but that doesn't change what it is there for.

Added: This is an early OG before they started shaving the glass...

@cybrguy - I have been trying to upload photos but its not happening - I've downloaded the imagr app or whatever its called and taken pics but the guide on here must be for an older version of the app as the only option that comes up in the top right is 'newest'. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong it would be appreciated. Your body is different to mine as mine is a completely hollow tube.
