Hello fellow vaporists. I have been a part of this crowd for some time now, so I decided to try my hand at a post with a picture. I was going to wait for a slow time but that seems to not happen very often.

I wanted to stop combusting and start vaporizing several years back. I got a hold of a volcano and used it for years. I have been looking to replace my trusty poke-a-toke for a few years. I have to say between the FC community and the vapecritic you all have cost me a fortune. I have a good collection of portable vapes that are collecting dust, which is fine with me because I have found my ultimate replacement for my one-hitter. The vapcap onmi is exactly what I was looking for. I have moved to a single flame torch which allows me to heat the tip on my first pull, then I move down to the middle section and finally to the base. Thanks to all that have helped my along the path.

I still need to work on that picture thing

I’ve seen those but the path seems too short to cool down or soften the hit of the vapor? :)
Quite the contrary.......J-hooks don’t even need the water to cool down the vapor! I have a 14 and an 18, and they work great with the Mi, my logs and my VC’s. Great adjunct at home for a simple way to cool your vapor. So yeah, give it a try:cheers:

Just to ensure you are on board, sign up with DynnaVap for news flashes.

The sale discount has been 1/5 off, it may change. The SbM seems to be a stellar seller, so, the early bird......:worms::evil:

@ArthurJ is that a coincidence, Arthur J, with a J hook!:sherlock:

This...

I find the vapcap experience is enhanced by having at least a couple of Dynavaps and lighters.
You might think you have a fave combo or even technique.. But every now and then you'll change it up and suddenly get a more satisfying hit.. I think the variation can help..

It wasn't that long ago you were asking all kinds of questions. And here you are answering them. I love when a plan comes together. Doc

Thanks Doc @Dynalowrider , i learn all these knowledge & technique from all vapcapers in this thread and forum, i would like to give back something to the community if possible.

Yes, i found my vapcap experience keep changing and improving. Different tip with different torch lighter will have different sessions, recently i found that the mouth pulling/toking speed also very important to the taste/efficiency. I used to use the mouth pull technique with short and quick speed, the taste is bad and harsh and easy to combust, but i found that when i hit with bubble, the taste is much better, so i try to pulling/toking slowly and steadily, you may found a golden spot that the taste is mellow and no more harsh. I really love the vapcap, a lot!!!! My setup now is Omni-Ti XL with triple torch when i am outside, triple torch can finish 1bowl in 3cycle heating. When i am home, i heat the M with dry bubbler by triple torch at 1st heat cycle to quickly preheat the cap and let the material more dry, and heat 2nd & 3rd cycle with single torch, give me tasty and biggest cloud, very satisfied:D

I didn't want to make it public at first but i have to quit using marijuana completely.

Im having problems with my heart. The cardiologist had me wear a holter monitor and keep a journal of all my activity and we found out that marijuana is the trigger for me. It makes my heart jump from 70bpm up to 180bpm while sitting within 5minutes of usage each time. Very scary. My resting HR was 50-60 when not using.

Went a week without usage and tested again. Same thing. I can't keep taking chances with my heart.

:ugh:

I didn't want to believe it but I'm reading the results myself. I can see it happening as it happens. My cardiologist couldn't believe it was the marijuana either until all the results were read.

:disgust:

I've been using for 20 years and never had issues until a few months ago. No vaporizer is to blame... We tested combusting and vaping. Same thing. So it's not from my beloved vapcaps, it's just how my body is reacting to the substance now.

Anyways... I'll be selling some vapcaps and my Portside soon. The wife doesn't want me keeping them, tempting me to use them.:(

Such a sad time. But i have a family that needs me around and it's just not worth the risk of a heart attack.

Really sad to heard that @WoodVillain , but when there comes to choice, your own life and family is always in first priority. I will keep at least 1 vapcap because the situation may getting better later:tup:.

Very true. And yes i will keep one hidden away in a safe place for the hopeful future.

I should add....

We (the cardiologist and myself) do not believe marijuana is the root cause of my heart problems, but we now know for certain that it does trigger extreme episodes of sinus arrhythmia and tachycardia.

We have more testing to hopefully find the root cause. It may be something that can be corrected. But maybe not. Either way i must do what's best for my family and my health.

Mods...

I know this is a bit off topic but all my FC friends are in this thread and it's the only place on the forum i write anymore. I hope it's ok. I will not keep going on about it, just wanted to inform my vaping family.

@WoodVillain: SO sorry to read this!!!
But: A friend of mine has the exact same problem that you have. A 55 male who already had three heart attacks, one stroke and more stents than a single person can normally bear. So he is in quite a bad position. However, he explained to his doctors that he will give up smoking, he will give up drinking, he will do more sport, but he will not, under any circumstance, give up consuming Cannabis. He is quite pig-headed, you know. And he really loves his weed. He actually is very difficult to bear as a person when sober, to be honest.

Anyway, his doctors did the same tests with him that yours did with you and came to the same conclusion. Did I already mention that he is pig-headed? He insisted that they go on testing him, while he went through several dozen different strains to see whether there is one without the negative effects. After six months, it was quite clear that several strains did not cause his heart to beat that much faster or did not increase his blood pressure as much as others. He completely removed most Sativas from his list is now has a handful of different Indica dominant strains that he gets along with quite well.

What I try to say: You do the right thing for the moment. Stop first, see if things are getting better. Think of you and your family. But if you feel confident one day to try again - There might be a way to do so without harming you (too much)... There is hope! :)

All the best! Stay with us here, if you can stand the temptation and get well soon!:rockon:

That sucks, Man. Sorry to hear it. Hard to imagine tho, as vaping seems to make my heart rate go down. Truth is, we are living in what amounts to chemical machines, and they just don't all act the same. Too many variables. While there are certainly trends in biological responses, there don't seem to be hard and fast rules. Or at least those are a lot fewer than we would expect.

Touching words.
I myself find mYself sometimes on the floor begging my heart would beat normal again. Then this anxiety causes my heart to pund even faster.
Sometes i was afraid to ferl my pulse because i would believe in instant kill when i could not feel it or it is rapidly beating arhytmical.
Man, you got this diagnosed and strictly linked to weed usage by a cardiologist.
That sucks.
We should listen to out hearts.
Sounds naive and cheesy but, you know.
You just described one of my biggest fears.

I live in a land where MJ is total illegal.
When i was to go to see a doc and say to him
"My heart punds like crazy when i smoke weed" he would laugh at me and tell me to quit it. Done.
I would like to test it though.
Beein headin for the gym in the last weeks.
Before i go i consume a small to medium dose sativa heavy hybrid "kalichakra".
Someres i get really anxious.
I feel you bro.
I feel you.

respect for your decision.
A tough one for sure.

May I ask in which country you live and how you approched the doctor?

Thanks
