Best part about the FP for me is how you can dial in your experience. I'm at 585 tonight doing coarse and whole nugs. I'll likely go in the range and 600 range too.

The FP is so versatile. There is no reason to lock yourself down with a set temp. Start pushing buttons, pack bowls and fill those lungs.

Kind of bummed it's not Ti, but I'll still buy it.

Man, full bowl of Buddha's delight at 620F SH carb capped. Total fog out, room reeks. Tomorrow gonna start on freshie bowls.

so, not sure what's up, but everytime i switch out to SiC and back, I can drop my temps a bit on the SH each time. even after recalibration each time. 620 was giving me very nice results uncapped on the fab egg, SH, fast draw, kannastor gr8tr coarse plate.

definitely not complaining. the lower the better actually, imo

ordered the threaded scoop - thanks again, that will reduce clutter a lot for me. will use the blade and ball dabbers for actual concentrates since those are Ti. i just wanted the scoop for herb anyway. crumble i can drop in without touching any of the surface since the SH dish is so huge

So best to just soak bowl and Showerhead in ISO for 10 mins do you think?
Or just a swipe down with cotton buds then rinse under tap and let dry?

Sorry for such a dumbass question, vape cleaning methods has never been my strongsuit, just getting a picture in advance of what steps I will take and don't wanna do anything stupid!

I cant tell you how much Im tired of my current vapes, none of which are simply good enough or make me want to use them. I even tried the Omnivap with a TORCH before bed!
I thought it might br fun and couldnt be bothered to plug the Induction Heater in.

Well it seems every torch has a problem- triple that only fires 2 jets, other one comes and goes...quad that doesnt ignite without a clipper to spark it!,

Then it was out of gas anyway and I couldnt find the gas anywhere. I thought Fuck This and grabbed the Induction Heater. I hit it dry for a change which is always pretty harsh to me on the throat. And so laborious to go through this repeated process of concentration, ,guessing how far to go past the dlick and sucking my life out of me. (But I did just discover that half the Ti screen was clogged up, no wonder I just couldnt get a draw!)

I did also use my Herborizer last night, but it requires a larger load and still takes an age to extract- not right for a quick vape before bed, at least the Vapcap allows me to use just a small amount of herb!

Im really not wanting to bash these still very highly regarded and poplular vapes, but there is a niche to fill for me as I hope you can see, none of my vapes quite work for me.

There is another one as well which Im not even supposed to have JUST yet which sadly hasnt worked fir me either, despite being an excellent device with high and widespread praise.

Meanwhile... customs HAVE pulled their finger out and decided to involve the local sorting office...I'll say no more for the moment! Don't get too excited anyway Im sure it will be an anti-climax- just another Kingfisher down by the stream!

Big hanks for any cleaning protocol tips on SH, bowl (SC too?)!

@Alexis If you're buying from Vapefiend, just use one of the Vipes (vape wipes) they'll include. I used one to wipe my showerhead and coil down let it dry for a few seconds then left it to preheat for a few mins. FWIW, I noticed no dirt or residue on the cloth afterward

Thanks man, but I am a butterfly caught up in Newvape's net, hence customs! I do have a box of vipes that I keep by for visiting friends etc and my germ OCD.

I also have ISO and would use kitchen paper for a wipe and keep the Vipes for other purposes.
But I wondered if it would maks sense to just soak the SH and bowls in ISO shortly and be done with it? Im assuming this is okay practice for the parts and gives most peace of mind.

Im sure it saves a few pennies that way, when it can seem wasteful to open a Vipe to be useless afterwards, and have to recycle the packet too!

So it probably makes sense from a financial and ecological point of view to keep the Vipes for other uses. Shit, did I just go too deep over a box of Vipes? That lemonyThink Different Omnivap bowl just hit me quite hard now that I cleaned the screen!
Need to get some more hours sleep now if I can. Sleep dep big time here lately!!

Postmen usually get me out of bed up to midday, not sure if to expect a card today with notice (which is okay because it means you can go and collect it right away inlike missed delivety), or an actual delivery?

Who else has the 14mm stubby bowl? I don't even want my 18mm bowl anymore! Not only do I love using it with the glass reducer, I swear it functions differently....more flow, i'm getting faster cloud production, more vapour, I don't know WTF is going on but my girl is saying the same thing so I know it's not the flower talking! Is it due to the way the screen sits? I LOVE the extra depth too! For $20 I regret not getting an extra one or two on top since they are on clearance and limited (lord only knows why??). Is the Ti somewhat thinner maybe alloying more heat transfer? It definitely feels lighter (haven't weighed to compare).. and it has greatly improved my FP experience!

is the 14/18mm body/bowl on clearance for $30 the same size bowl as the current ones? Is the stubby the only "larger bowl" body left? I wish I could still get an OG! The new non stick bowls will be nice, however I prefer a slightly bigger volume as to not spill when stirring. If I had a handle on my current stubby bowl I think it would be the best bowl ever, as the glass reducer does still get piping hot when using the cap.

Speaking of the showercap....the new Ti cap is AWESOME!!! I actually use it now so much more sine it's SO light! I picked up a couple of new ti dab tools that I love as well...the little ball and the flat bottom, both so much smaller than I thought, and make an awesome stir tool as well, loving the vertical orientation.

My order arrived in the usual absurdly quick time from Florida to Canada of less than a week! Everything was perfect, and my excitement and honeymoon feels like it has started all over again! Just have a bunch of parts I have no use for anymore, but i'm thinking that's something i'm going to have to get used to with the evolution of NV!

Continuing to rock the coarse grind at about 640-650 depending on strain! One hit then stir and it turns into fine grind and that's when the smoke show really starts!

14mm bowls with a 18mm to 14mm reducer is the way to go... Well at least for now until the new bowls come out

I think the Flowerpot showerhead may be the easiest to use vape ever!! It’s so easy to empty and load, no carb cap required for flower, heats up super quick, extracts super quick!! I had one friend that thought it was a little out of control but he thinks an enail is hardcore!! Love this thing!

Well you have made me very glad I purposely included one male stubby bowl, and sorry I didn't get two!
I was influenced this way by @ichibaneye 's glowing praise for the male stubby bowls a while ago.

I am sure that if more people feel the same way then @NewVape710 could consider keeping production going and maybe adding a handle? Or just revamping the design to keep whatever aspect it is of the male stubby bowl that makes it work how you are noticing?

I'm with you man , love my stubby bowl and the added depth. One of my favorites. Not sure if i feel a difference but i can definitely pack more in it.

@emmdeemo in all of your testing, did you test the temp probe with the stubby bowl or the newer style bowl? The only reason I could see the newer style bowls having an advantage is if you wanted to do smaller loads. In my mind, the older/larger bowl would need a higher temp since it is further away from the heat source. Since the FP SH has so much airflow and power, this might not even matter. Curious if our resident scientist has done any comparisons between the two bowls. Really appreciate all of your thorough testing.

I've decided to finally use my Flowerpot today as I've finally returned home from a tiring trip. Death sure does strange things to people. Family members that had once been tight are now like strangers to one another. It was odd and sad to watch it all go down from the sidelines.

I load this double decker in your memory, to you my grandmother and cousin! You'll never be forgotten. Now it's time to relax and float on reminiscent clouds of joyful times gone by. Iiiiiiiiiiiii'm back!

I also just returned earlier in the week from a family member funeral (an aunt) where I and my cousins had a chance to talk about all of the very stupid and very petty resentments that have sundered our family over the decades. We are all good, but were also so very aware that time cannot be made up and all of that time in disagreement was just a waste. When they are dead, its just too damn late.

This sounds logic according to thermal properties of Ti Vs SS (get hot faster hence less time for condensation)

Have a question: does the outside of the bowl, the bottom part that makes the seal on glass, becomes very hot ? I plan to use a 14mm bowl on a 18mm glass and use a short cut of silicone tubing to fill the gap
