Just ordered some flowerpot parts inc cap, handle & stand from vapefiend and a controller from DHgate

I was hoping Vapefiend would have some of the hemp wrapped boxes

(and controllers)

@Alexis code UPA2017 gives a 10% discount at Vapefiend during October

I'm going to need some new glass too... :hmm:

DHGate or UK suggestions/links for reasonably priced pieces would be welcomed and appreciated as I don't have a lot of experience with glassware :shrug:

I think I'd like something with an 18mm female joint, that's not chuggy and fairly simple for ease of cleaning please.

Thanks for the code Pyro! To test my little theory, I calculated the exact cost of what I expect my total original order to be from both Vapefiend, and Newvape for:

-Showerhead set
-18 mm male bowl (undecided yet)
-Spare solid bowl handle
-Showercap

I am pretending Vapefiend have the new Showercap in stock, for the same price as the curemt one at £42.

So all in all, shipping and customs included, 10% discount codes applied:

Vapefiend = £198.
Newvape = £194.

So VERY close. I guess my choice will depend on potential sales next month, and whether Vapefiend have the new Showercap in stock by that time.

I have skipped the handle and stand. I am hoping I can use a bowl for a stand, a bit more stable than a coffee cup.

So this is the total cost of a FP SH setup, minus controller, with coil handle and stand as optional extras.

I think I actually would prefer to use a glass adapter over the new 2 part Newvape bowl. And Im leankng towards the male bowl again so that if my glass adapter breaks, I am not stuck. I would need to have a spare adapter around if I had a female bowl.

Oh, another thought. I may get a male stubby bowl as well, it is cheap and would work as a second bowl for guests, using the glass adapter you could lift it without burning.

I tried this last night at 710f and ended up with a wasted dab at the bottom of my claisen adapter? :shrug:

Perhaps the dab was too big, but i'll never try that again. I also found I was wasting dabs at temps under 600. The dab would melt but the vapours wouldn't be entrained into the water tube even with a harder draw. In the mid-600's different storey!

Wait until you try SiC!!! Apparently there is no comparison! I'm still stuck with Ti, but I rarely ever dab, and when I do I prefer double deckers with a different device.

As much as I adore this vape, I can't wait to get a 14mm bowl. The 18mm bowl is killing me with the sticking! Wish I listened to some of you guys and just went with the 14+glass reducer.

Also careful with higher heat cool downs. My SH has stuck to the circular stand thing over a half dozen times now. And it STICKS like glue!

@Alexis are you sure to order w/o testing it before? You know your sensitive respiratory system is reacting bad to the most vapes. You couldn't stand the Herb Ti cause of your allergic reactions. This is all ti too. Would be a pitty if you'll loose money again. My offer for testing still exists....

Thanks Hogni I really do appreciate your offer, but I am confident and hopeful, and prepared for any eventuality. Last time I tried the Herbo Ti several weeks ago, I enjoyed it much more on account of my lung and throat infections having been lowered substabtially recently by my treatments.

And I can honestly expect continued improvement from here on, now that I have this electricity treatment as an option to me at last.

This is genuinely the first time I have ever had a chance of getting well. It was never achievable until now in hindsight. It is not easy but I will keep going.
I actually wished I still had the Herbo Ti, but I am more happy that I will get the Flowerpot instead.

I do believe there is a chance I will tolerate it better with so many variables to play with. And I am determined to enjoy a hardcore vaporizer even if I have to suffer a bit.

Your offer is so kind, but my nature is not to take advantage ( but that doesn't mean I will always refuse help when it is offered ), and it wouldn't make sense I don't think either. I mean it would cost about £65 to ship it here and back to you.

And then if I buy the Flowerpot on top it is an extra cost. Whereas if I decide to sell the Flowerpot I would be hoping to lose £50 maximum.

So it would be more convenient for us both and more cost effective. And I really couldn't take your new vaporizer before you have even used it yourself. Your enjoyment and happiness in life is actually very important to me believe it or not! :nod:

I was too impulsive again and missed the discount code! My justification for this impulse buy (my flowerpot with SIG bowl is really very good) is the fact that we have switched from mainly concentrate to mainly flower. Anyway that's my excuse and I am sticking to it.

I paid no shipping at Vapefiend by choosing the 'Royal Mail - International Tracked and Signed' option. Maybe that was because of the size of the order (Pounds 160 excl tax. Showhead, Nut, ShowerCap Carb Cap , Enail Handle).It will be interesting to see how long it takes.

I ve decided for the dhgate Menovo 1, but the only ones, who had free shipping for my country, Don t wanna Ship it (because they say there might be custom clearence issues, although i ve periodically received shipments from China w/o any probls, even 300€ value ones, declared as 30€)
So my only 2 Options left are the following:

Could you not use an 18 mm to 18 mm joint reducer of some type? I am now looking to get the male 18 mm bowl and one of the glass adapters I linked, with the option of degummed hemp fiber in the middle.
This would save you needing a new 14 mm bowl for now.

@darkspider64 have you tried to order the Newvape approved dhgate Vapecode controller which has been discussed here many times? Will they not ship to you?

It is cheaper than your first link, just a little more than the second. The seller appears to be decent and reliable as well should there be an issue.

Strange, are you sure you have the right model? There are a few to choose from. The one pin question is $120 including shipping.
So make sure that you have not looked at a different model.

Also have you seen these hemp flowers which are 4 percent CBD? They are considerably cheaper than the link you give above. Maybe not as high quality. They are out of stock at the moment but here is the link anyway:

Bummer, I had a standard size dab, 660f carb capped whole time, dnail wrap around setup. Real light draw for first few seconds then standard draw for 6 hits.

For folks having issues getting products shipped to them from elsewhere in the world, are there any 3rd party exporters nearby you can use? We have many of them in the USA, a package gets delivered to them with a Suite # (basically to identify you to the exporter), they then forward that mail on to you. I know it costs money, but perhaps a package coming in from a different country would be easier? Just a thought.

I would avoid the first one. I dont know what they anodized the metal hardware with but that is a little concerning with the fake brass color.

There is zero tolerance policy to THC here. Even 0.00000000000001% would make it illegal. The mafia and the crooked police are in charge of this country. Careful if you decide to travel around here,cause they also have drug test for drivers which detect 30 hours after use,and you can both use your license and get convicted with possession charges ,just because there some of it in your system. (2 years prison time and 2000 euro penalty.)

On the topic with the e-nails ,has anyone actually tried to build an e-nail controller on his own ? I've heard it is pretty easy and parts are cheap. I think it is the Omron based ones that i;ve been told are easy to assemble.
