I'm noticing flavors I have not tasted before from the same flower. Instant medicated too.

EDIT: @NewVape710 you might owe @emmdeemo a favor. His pursuit into ultra low temps has made the SC relevant again for many of us. :cool:

EDIT 2: Whoa...525 w/o SC + slow long draw was even better than the capped version. Tasting even more new flavors this at temp.

Thanks but that really wasn't my issue....I had a process issue. I pulled the head off the bowl so as to be able to clear the glass and of course when I took my mouth off of the MP, and the water settled, there was airflow back up thru the body/bowl and AVB popping out.

To avoid this type of thing with flower is why bongs have slide bowls, right...just pull the whole bowl off.

But, can't really do this with the FP (among other reasons is the dang bowl is always stuck.

So, now I just pull the SC off and leave the head on when I'm done with a draw so I don't get blow back (I think that's the term I used).

Have you worked out details of what current SC+LC owners will be doing? Really cool of you to offer that btw!

Really excited for this. The vertical position will be nice for those glass pieces that prevent full rotation in horizontal position. Horizontal I'm thinking will be sweet since it has that little level "hat" to rest upside down on and keep the dabber from being so close to whatever surface it's on... I have been putting my showercap in the debowler stand lately though, which negates that kinda. It'll still work, just won't be resting on the little hat!

It seems like every payday since I've bought my showerhead, I've been steadily making a purchase every pay day since... Really. I thought talks of getting their direct-deposit info was a bit hyperbolic but now I'm seeing it may really be beneficial... Now the trouble will be explaining to my employer what I'm doing with all these machined Ti tools...

I might get the probe out to check, but I bet 525f with a slow draw is similar to maybe 450-470 capped. By not using the SC and slowing the draw down, you're essentially lowering air temps. This is the real secret to the SH/SC having so many different combinations for use I think.

I really think this means any of us can get the same effects with a myriad of different uses, meaning more medicinal uses too, for instance, those of us with lung irritation issues.

Hey guys, I have a D-nail SiC Halo slim series running on an Auber RDK-300 with a flat coil.
If I want the FP showerhead, what else would I need/want from NewVape? Seems like I need a barrel coil, is that correct?
Anyway, I am very interested in this, especially if I can get into it for not too much money.

And @biohacker is posting crazy videos!! Loving it!! Only vapes that impress him are ever video'd and posted! I feel better recommending it to him! LOL!!!

Just wanted to stop by and say i brought out an older, smaller WT to test out with the FP.
This is the one i brought out:

Better flavor but less cloudy due to the type of filtration.
Not sure if i like the bent neck too much... always loved this piece and it looks like it may be back for a while! Zero drag and i love watching the vapor pour down the stem!
Need to get a better stem made for it that is longer and less angled as well...

Different experience tonight for sure!

And for your viewing pleasure and my good night TKO for the night...
THC Distillate dab, very small maybe 1/4 grain of rice, with some Blue Tuna flower...
So tasty, so potent, so medicating! It numbs everything except my brain and typing fingers...LOL!

Just a small cough a few minutes after the hit. Smooth as ca be!

Yes. This is what I would do with my sublimator ... because it would get SERIOUSLY stuck when I had 18mm so I went to 14mm with the glass 14/18 adapter which stayed stuck permanently to the bowl when heated but came out of the glass water piece freely.

If I get one of these (when should I say) I'll get a 14mm bowl and will use the glass adapter.

https://www.newvape.com/showerhead-combo-20mm-2 + barrel coil, and choice of bowl. Then theres a carb cap, stand etc. but I think thats the core of what you'd need.

NV's coils have a different connector tho, so you'd need to either re-wire or buy a coil to go with your Auber.

The showerhead is one model,, but there is also a wrap-around model for your D-Nail SiC Halo too.

It's deceivingly smooth. I've hit it and hit it thinking I should probably stop and then seeing what exhales is a little shocking. I been doing full bowls so I usually have 5 or so solid hits. The 2nd hit I find is the one that tends to be the tickler if there is one.

I never get gagging coughs with this. Sometimes "holyshit that was a long draw+a lot of vapor" coughs. I believe some folks call them "potency coughs" but meh. Never NEVER gagging coughs. No burnt throat and trouble breathing the day after a lot of dabs...

Having gone from never used an enail... to this... was awesome. Also, only plugin I used was log vapes for a year, and the whole time wishing I could stuff more in there, while still having it vape the whole load the same... :hmm:

(don't get me wrong I love logs, but it's a totally different thing! ...although FP comes dangerously dangerously close to rivaling their efficiency... :whoa:

) Yeah this thing continually impresses. The lowtemp+showercap thing is definitely a whole new dimension for daytime medication. People with med needs definitely need exposure to this... The free flow draw, the efficiency, the ease of use, the potency!!!! This thing will deliver for any med patient I believe. If having a hot thing wasn't such a big worry! ... but honestly... this is much much easier than torch+banger dabbing!

Anyway offtopic rant off sorry! Back to regularly scheduled FP fog

The taste is slightly better...I think...but not by leaps and bounds. Capped it might actually be better. It's really neck and neck.

I still think the SC is relevant again because not everyone would have the patience for the slow draw.

I'm still playing with bowl size to see what tastes best. This thread moves fast, have you guys figured that out yet?

big n fat. I like at least .1 using the new bowl w the screen in the groove.

If you were consistently going to go for <.05, I'd maybe move the screen above the ledge, but I get fine results w .05 in the groove, spread fully around the screen.

im so baked i missed the main point of your question - amphetamines have really strong effects on me (hence my vicious posting the past 2 days! :ugh:

) so let me try and recover:

coarse grind is definitely better for flavor at the expense of clouds. i like larger amounts for more intense flavor - as far as bowl size, i haven't really messed with it

I think I'm settling into loading a bowl and taking my time with many draws per bowl, using breath control to determine the amount of vapour or the temp range I want to hit (within reason, but in my testing there was a massive difference between air temps at different draw speeds while capped).

My scales only go to 1 decimal place, but they read about 0.2 for what seems to be my preferred load (if money was no object, I'd just fill it probably), around 500f - 550f. Sometimes that one bowl can last me many hours. Much flavour.

Im using the screen groove, stock bowl size, and just leaving it.

Best for flavour was the few bowls of keif I did!

EDIT: Another thing I've found is that by the time the load looks spent and stops producing vapour in the 500f - 600f range, the taste just stops. No rough taste to any draw.
