what induction heating thingy are you talking about ?
@Pipes makes three, soon to be 4 Induction Heaters. These units are powered by rechargeable batteries and or direct plug into an electrical socket combination. These are small units approx 3"x3" and varies a bit by model. He is currently working on a fourth model which will be smaller and therefore more portable.

They work by heating the Vapcap with a coil. You insert the Vapcap into a glass tube, press down and the coil heats up.

Fantastic devices and very popular. You need to PM @Pipes to get on the list for your choice of model.

I love @Pipes heaters, but something tells me that the TSA might be very curious when they come accross one. It doesn’t solve the problem of traveling and not having to buy a lighter when you land. However, it is an ingenious tool!

To KA-BOOM! OR not to KABOOM.

Don't think you'd be toting one of these to the tranquil airport.

Best case, they confiscate it.......

A sure fire home body

Tell me about it.. I went to the craft store with the heater and batteries. I need it for a test fit, to make sure I bought something that worked.

...I was using it on the drive there...

Into the store I went. Found that burlap fabric covered container I'm using temporarily for $1.25 USD. The little old ladies were looking at me like it was a bomb or something while I was standing in the checkout line. I thought it was kinda funny, the SO not so much..

Woops..

Earlier.. I made a joke (to her, very quietly, no one else heard) of the thought of the bomb squad rushing in and pinning us to the floor while a little robot controlled drone rolls in to remove........... a heater for a weed vape........

I think that thought, set in her mind eventually got to her, especially after the old ladies at the checkout..

No, no. We are completely normal people here.
Those who do not buy Vaporizers by the dozen are the weird ones... ;)

So you own a Zion? Fancy a new real-life friend? I am able to travel. Also long distances. No problem at all! I will bring my Milaana and Dynavap collection with me. Family reunification! :)

Let's do it! I'm in SF if you're really interested shoot me a message! I'm sure we can work something out:lol:

Also all this talk about @Pipes induction heater makes it almost impossible for me not to get one! haha guess its just one more thing to improve the dynavap experience!

Good thing they didn't drop their virtual dime: "We were just doing our civic duty, Officers, you never know what that electronic thing might go off. Or what." :science::mental::lol:I. *worried looks*

Here's another crazy idea :science: :

The VapCap Campfire Heater  !

A small chunk of cast iron with a slightly larger than 10 mm through-hole in the middle /center.
Has also one or more additional holes in order to be withdrawn* from inside the campfire, fireplace,BBQ ,stove ,or any other form of fire ,when it's glowing red or just before it's starts glowing red .
Then placed (standing or face down ) on the ground or on a rock or on any other non-melting and non combustible ,stable surface ,and then the VC is inserted inside the center hole.
Remains ther until click is heard.

*The heater can be placed inside the fire source and be withdrawn from it with the help
of a hooked wire ,a small chain ,a piece of wood ,a steel cable from a bike ,etc.

The chunk can be also used as means of defence against an incoming bear raid !
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

OHHH,I'm so vapcaped high !

I like the idea, at the same time i am pretty sure me or a family member would easily manage to get some bad burns.
Perhaps you should factor in some kind of insulated housing or similar.

Or this is just for the brave....

Very, very nice idea, especially for BBQ afficionados. But I'm with @Doktor Dub , guess it wont work if the upper surface wouldn't be insulated. Radiating heat of the plate would burn your fingers or body/stem of the inserted VC I fear.
Otherwise you have to insulate it with some large pieces of beef or shrimps surrounding the hole and so doing some "Plancha Style-BBQ" while upheating your VC ;)

Are Omnivap typically in stock or made to order? Just trying to orient myself around leadtime expectations. Patience is not my strong suit :)

Well i guess I'll vent here... I'm disappointed... With usps... not my vapcaps or dynavap lol... I'm just impatient to see the sbM in person i guess...

Usps had my sbM's expected delivery date as yesterday... but it didn't come yesterday or today and now it doesn't say any expected delivery date.

The tracking info is funny too... At exactly 0911, for 3 days straight, it was scanned as "on it's way" but no location given? Weird.

Come on usps... Get it together so i can see this beauty...
