I had a great weekend of putting the FP+SH through tests now that I have more flower. I played with all sorts of different temps and DD's and had all sorts of fun.

550 w/o the SC is where I usually have it set if I want flavor. I fill the whole bowl with a coarse grind. I just break the bud up by hand currently. I'll eventually get the coarse grinder from NV. The flavor from these bowl packs are pretty great. I'd say I get about 2-3 hits from a bowl and they all taste good.

I also successfully do DD's at 550 with great results.

675-710 is the zone I like to get more medicated. I will do this bowl last after I have enjoyed a bowl of terpiness.

DD's are hot, but damn do they medicate.

I will have to try 500-525 with the cap like some of you guys are doing.

I have noticed some of my sides of the bowl are not cooking as others have noted. I have tried to rotate the SH as I take hit and that seems to have helped.

@NewVape710 regarding the new Ti caps. If there could be a handle hole on the side and the top that would be great. Some seem to like that you put it on the side. I personally hate it. When doing DD's it's annoying as shit to have that dabber on the side as I try turn the cap to rotate air.

Also I think the cap and SH could seal better. They do not want to stay together and take more focus that I'd like. If the dabber was on the center like traditional carb caps the weight would be centered. I just don't get why people like the side. So why not just drill another hole so both sides can be happy?

Does anyone know what size drill bit to use to make my own? I'd like to improve the function of my SC by moving the dabber in the center so I can actually spin it.

Lastly, I can not say enough if you are on the fence about investing his this desktop, get off and buy this vape. It's the last vape you will need. All my my needs and needs I had no idea I had are met by this device. It's amazing and if I take care of it, this investment will last a lifetime. :myday:

FP = :love:

EDIT: Also a note about the efficiency. I made a ABV milkshake yesterday and it was lackluster to say the least. I think I need to double or triple the ABV the recipe calls for. The FP ABV is weaksauce.

If we could just once get a real confirmation from a member with a new bowl and any combo of the above, we can put this case to rest once and for all.

Hey here I am buddy!!! Im not sure why no one believes me on the basket screens but I have posted multiple times what fits with pictures and measurements. I’m just trying to keep people from wasting their money but if you don’t believe me I guess you can put it to rest o cr you get the EVO in.

The EQ bowls for the new bowl design fits BUT you have to squish the sides a little with your fingers and the push it down really hard for the EQ bowl to fit inside the new bowl.

I found that the EQ fit too snug and it was a little hard to take out the EQ bowl without bending the screen

Thank you for those kind words. @Danksta the new combo cap will have hort and vert threads to hold dabber and less than half the weight. the threads on all dabbers are standard 10-24 if you want to add the hole pre drill with a 5/32 drill then tap with a 10-24 tap. I'm thrilled that you and others are enjoying the flowerpot. It's going to be difficult to one up this one. I hope the flowerpot has at least set a new high water mark for land of desktop vapes. Yourself and other members of this feed have contributed dramatically to reducing the time to market and helped propel the flowerpot it to where it is today. This quality interaction found only here on this FC flowerpot feed is the real secret sauce.

Hello people i like to see lots of experimenting here. In my journey experiencing the Showerhead I did a little discovery: If i hit my showerhead i can feel the effects in less than 10 seconds. All my other vapes take like a minute or so. Why? Effect aside times should be equal so there is something here that i dont understand.

A lot of actives at once perhaps? It always amazes me that I can brown and crush a bowl pretty much in one rip. I know what you mean though, when I do my one hitter micros, and inhale deep, I get an awesome tingling in my brain that tells me that the hit landed flawlessly.

I hope no one wastes their money buying basket screens that do not fit.

Thank you! This is all I was trying to prevent.

Hopes this helps.

Big time!

I am not 100% on this and hate to compare but i believe it is due to a similar process the sublimator vape uses

Ahhh the Sublimation process! :worms: I personally only feel that the Sub and Sv3 can do it.

I fill the whole bowl with a coarse grind.

Yes! I thought I was the only one! Flavour country!

I have noticed some of my sides of the bowl are not cooking as others have noted. I have tried to rotate the SH as I take hit and that seems to have helped.

Probably because of the coarse grind...I experienced this too from time to time. Although just randomly i'll see a green spec even with a finer grind.

It's the last vape you will need. All my my needs and needs I had no idea I had are met by this device.

PERFECT!!!

For some reason I confused @emmdeemo with you, so I do appreciate your feedback. I also just confirmed that the ELB cap fits like a glove, but not the bowl section. I wonder if an Arizer basket screen CAP would work, similar to the ELB CAP?

Pretty sure someone mentioned that the DDave fit perfectly as well - 14mm. I'll shoot Dave a message about sizes.

This quality interaction found only here on this FC flowerpot feed is the real secret sauce.

And so is your presence, always greatly appreciated. A massive resource in of itself when purchasing your product.

We're not worthy! :bowdown::rofl:

In my eyes it seems the same theory is being applied, now i have only tried a Sub once and it was what i was actually looking for before the Fp but once i tried my Fp the Sub was put to sleep , i felt the Fp imo was much better and was quicker to extract. So I am wondering what process the Sub and Sv3 are doing differently to achieve this ? for education purposes of course . I see the Sub website explains the process they use to achieve this and it all seems very similar to what the Fp is doing for the most part.

I think the main difference is you have to use the sub with a pre heated bowl. That's basically it IMO

I also see there air inlets on the head are placed on the sides rather than directly facing down like the fp , they are saying this creates a vortex of air. Well i don't wanna have to pre heat my bowl.

Those holes probably do create a vortex. However, I found extraction with the FP equal to/better than the sub and quicker. I also hated having to pre-heat the sub bowl (which takes around 20-30min, whereas the FP bowl basically gets to temp in 30 sec-1 minute

Holy mother of god

all other vapes are obsolete

.1g at 615f and it milks up THAT fast with a fairly fast draw? :hmm:

I'm busting out my BEST herb, fine grinding, and trying just that right now!

#SHOWERPOWER !! I used a Kannastor fine grind; and I don't tamp at all because I think it's counterproductive with a fine grind. For microdoses I do spread it out over the screen for maximum surface area though!

Add the carb cap to that fast draw from the start and its fucking lift off into the stratosphere. Not to mention dropping temp a little and getting extra taste.

I'm back up at 650f for todays first hit. Start with a quick smack round the face and then back to 500f for chill hits and... forgetting what I was doing!

Totally agreed with this. Ya want all the air getting round all those particles!

Do you guys have your screens at the bottom of the bowl, locked beneath the screen lip, or above it? (not sure if all bowls are like this)
Until now, I've had mine locked down beneath it.. I'm loving it like this though.

Ive had a self made basket screen shoved in the channel beneath where the screen ledge is, I think thats partly what led to the channel being widened to fit the EVO screens, which Im still waiting to have delivered.

I liked the basket screen, but ultimately I prefer not to have the draw restriction a full basket gives.

Thats an older version of the bowl btw, pre-groove to fix the screen in.

Awesome, thanks for the tips...just busted out the kannastor fine grind plate and just about to weigh up .1g! To carb cap or not to carb cap? You didn't, so I won't. This isn't the "best" herb I have, but I didn't feel like digging through the treasure chest :D

:hmm: My brand new bowl has a spot for the screen. It locks in there perfectly. Are you "raising" yours to make the bowl "smaller"?

Yeah, but IMO it also makes the herb along the edges vape more evenly since it improves the airflow there, and makes it vape more instantly, w/ no stirring.. I'm liking it like this.

Ah, gotcha, that was my only complaint to NV when the new ledge came out. I think he's on to resolving that. A more rigid screen that wedges in and doesnt rest on a ledge so its open air flow all the way around the screen.

@invertedisdead Success! FML at 615f even.... hard to believe, but I just saw it in front of my very own eyes! ALMOST was able to do it in one rip...I feel like such a failure! :D There was nothing left for the 2nd hit, and damn that ABV looked evenly perfect medium brown!

The effects are certainly kicking in so I hope I don't muck anything up uploading the video! :brow:
