I'd like to add that I finally ran out of butane after using the same can for nearly a year solid. It really doesn't cost that much to run a Vapcap.
Same. Especially since my local smokeshop now has cans of 9x refined 'tane for $4.
My usage will go up in the winter though. I need to get a triple flame lighter for the coming months. My dual flame takes too long to get it up to temp in cold ambient temps (keeping it at a modest flame size), Ill purposely heat it 2 seconds past the click just to squeeze more cold weather performance out of it. I still fail to see how anyone can accidentally combust with these Titanium tips; it was 110F outside here a few months ago and I was lighting mine 1 second past the click on the 2nd-3rd cycles, outside in the blistering heat and I never even came close to charring. Just nice brown AVB

Can the Omni ti tip be used with the M ?
A few people have said no due to the M condenser being thicker than the Omni condenser ? Want to be sure as there £30 a pop in the UK !

They're resistant but can still be degraded if left to soak for a long time. Just wipe dry the tip once it's clean.

I have an Omni and and M, i use the M with hash/herb mainly and its really really dirty.

The tip fits nicely in the "glass cleaning vial" from the grasshopper vape accessories :)

30 - 60 minutes in iso should be ok you reckon?

Any idea where i get can a bunch of these orings cheap (not from dynavap) ?

If you fully disassemble the tip by removing the CCD, cleaning shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. I recommend using a cotton swap with iso to scrub things clean.

I usually hot swab my tip before I do a solvent cleaning as this will get the plant waxes that don't vapourize to soak into the cotton easier. I do one hot heat cycle with the tip empty to get it warmed up then remove it with a cloth so that I don't burn my hand. I then use a DRY cotton swab to soak up what I can on the bottom side. This typically removes the majority of the gunk so that you're not waiting a long time for the solvent to eat through a thick layer.

I get my o-rings from O-rings and more, size 6mm ID x 1mm. I prefer the silicone rings as they don't flatten out with the repeated heat cycles, high temperatures, and static loading. They're also far more resistant to abrasion than the Viton and Buna-N because they remain pliable and don't harden over time.

The Omni CONDENSER is not interchangeable with the condenser in the M. All other components are modular and interchangeable.

Essentially you cannot turn the M into an Omni by fitting it with the Omni condenser.

Tips, bodies, stems and mouthpieces are all fully modular

Great picture! I’ll go shop on DHgate and try to find one of those glass pieces. Thanks! :)

I like the Omni ti tip with the M better than the SS tip as it delivers more air flow & less draw resistance. This said, I haven't yet modified the M tip so I don't know how that would compare to the omni tip.

I have two M's both with Ti-tips on. It's my fave dynavap combo. The ss condenser is slightly wider meaning two things...

A slightly more restricted draw with the carb wide open... Still free flowing but a tad more restriction and therefore vapor and i love it like this.

Also the wider condenser means you can't push the screen out with the condenser.. You'll have to find something else for that..

But ultimately M with Ti-Tip is a massive win in my book.

Is the orings on the tip ISO resistant?
I been reading yes and no here on FC and Reddit.

Anyone who has done it several times and still can confirm?

Been soaking my tips with the rings on for about 5 months. Ten to twenty minute soak normally - no sign of deteriotation yet.. But i have spares so im happy to experiment and take the risk..

Just picked up a dynakit at PIU with a couple other things, so I can worry less about breaking/losing something while cleaning. Sad really, how just the thought of being without the M scares me now. It all happens so quickly: at first I had no idea, I thought you all were just a little crazy (nuthin' wrong with that) over these little things made in Wisconsin and then WHAMMO! I don't ever want to be without one, I think I'd like more than one! Is that okay? I also want a t-shirt that says "I LOVE GEORGE'S BIG BRAIN"

I'm so very excited to finally try the famous @Squiby filter-sammich, like the cool kids.

EDIT: really liked my PIU experience, it will be first of many no doubt!

So, I finally got my very first Dynavap, the M. Just a few initial thoughts and stupid questions ofc.

Now that is small.
Nice piece of work.
Didn't get it on the internet, but in RL I can see what goes where and how it works at a glance.
And why it's called a cap.
Will lose this part.
Took everything apart.
Mouthpiece/main part looks dirty from the inside.
In a hurry, wanna try, load it with grinded NL Blue, fully but not packed.
Heating it up with a single flame butane, to the klick (and the second), which really sets this one apart.
Light and long inhale, tasty but no visible vapor, and it already click clicks again. So I heat it up again. Second shot a lot of visible vapor, still tasty. Click click. Third, even more, less tasty, empty.
Evenly brown as with my Crafty (rip).
Nice high but could be better but this is just due to capacity.
Get stuff done, return, more time.

Run some iso'd qtip through both stems returns dark black with metal shiny parts. This I dislike. Would it hurt to factory clean them?
But hey, back to the more important stuff.
Had 5-6-7 more loads. Works well!

2 things confuse a little:

1. Is it normal that it always clicks twice when heating up and cooling down (so 4 times for a heat up and cool down process to make it clear as this can be confusing)?!
One is louder and the one that follows soon after more silently, deeper. Or it is the other way round or it varies.

2. First heat up of a full but uncompressed load is supposed to only get you none to barely visible vapor
and to really get everything out what's there you need to heat it up again 3-4-5 times?
I already tried to heat it up to just a bit after the click but still same behaviour with a full load.
May had a bit wrong expectations here, just not that stealthy.

Listen to Smokey......he knows.....so do i with this nice water unit!

Get a D020-D from dhgate.
You will also need an 18mm to 14mm adapter. You can get one here on TheBay.
Believe these guys. Many many many of us have this particular piece and it is a great small glass piece that functions well and doesn't break the bank.

If you get it from Sunshine Store I think you can choose a 18mm to 14mm reducer for free instead of a glass bowl you will never use for vaping.

Actually, looking at the link it may come automatically now, along with a M2M (male to male adapter)...

@Osn Dosn Congrats on your M and you're faster out of the gate than I was!
Answers:
#1- yes, perfectly normal. @Dynalowrider explained its two chips in each cap for redundancy IIRC. So yours is fine and functioning properly.

#2- You can heat past first click 2-4 seconds and you should get more the first go. Load less if you want less hits. @Squiby uses a tiny bit, I think she gets it all in one.

Notice how both my answers are actually from other people? They know more than me.

Good score on the spare parts p-jockey. That was the first thing I did after I got my Ti. So having a few extra TT screens and o-rings is a must if you want to not have any failure issues with being able to medicate. It always happens at the worst time too....like when you run of battery with other types of vapes.

2nd thing you will need is a Pipes induction heater......it makes using the vapcap so much more enjoyable and opens up different feelings of use. The experience now not having to freaking fill butane torches is the best thing ever......besides not getting a consistent heat pattern when using. That really changes using it when you can heat perfectly and get to the point of knowing exactly how far from combusting you are.

My ABV has never looked so perfect to any shade I want to make it.....

Just to make a correction of your wording......it should be: "only if you use for vaping" ;)

Also, you need a 18mm male to 14mm female joint...not a double male one. But if they allow you to use the comments and ask for a adaptor...instead of the nail and combusting parts....good to go for such an incredible price.

The D020-D is my always go to water unit. I have some smaller I use often...then some bigger that need some stronger pulls. But the D020-D has great lower draw resistance with the perc it uses. (dont ever get anything with a honeycomb perc if you want lower draw resistance). Also this one is a great medium size that is easy to move around and handle.....also built thick so I never feel I will break it with normal use or minor mishaps.

You certainly CAN get vapor hits on the first cycle, but I like to stop at the click and get pure flavor on cycle 1. Usually the vapor on that hit is not (or barely) visible, but extremely tasty. Then go big for cycle 2 and 3. :o

Once you are into it everyone figures out their own style.

Well, if you insist on correcting me... :p

No, I meant if you are using the glass for vaping you will never need or use the bowl.
Also, you need a 18mm male to 14mm female joint...
That was covered by this quote: "you can choose a 18mm to 14mm reducer"

The mention of the M2M which comes with the D020 (as part of their oil rig setup) was to let her know she will have what she needs to use a vape with a female joint like a Zion or Milaana or any of the other 18mm female jointed vapes.

Other than that all your corrections were correct...
